I recently purchased the Mandala theme, and unfortunately, I’ve had a lot of trouble with it in comparison to my old theme. Please instruct me on how to remove the “blog” bar from my site: www.TheCoffeyBreak.com.
Also, I was under the impression that it would be fairly simple to implement the layouts I sat on the template page onto my blog. Layouts 2 and 4 were my favorites. Perhaps I’m missing something, but what is the best way to activate either of them for a preview?
Just FYI, I’m not a developer or a designer, so please provide feedback in the most basic delivery possible haha

To use a layout for home page. Please follow documentation on Create Content=>Pages=>Home page. Just copy the page content and select page template is “Front Page Template”.
To remove the “blog” bar, please go to Appearance=>Editor, edit the “index.php” file. Remove the div with class “blog_header”.

Hi there, Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything named “blog_header” in the entire editor, and pages does not have a home page option. Perhaps I am misunderstanding. Is there another set of routes (steps) you can provide for me to get the results I’m looking for?

I have recently been having an issue with image resizing for this theme. On my main page: www.yapoma.com there is an image (the one that says “free shipping”) that is supposed to be full-size (1066×530), but when I saved it, it’s being resized automatically as 625×311.

Please send me your WordPress admin account via email then I can check the image. For the plugin, we don’t need to enter license key when it comes with theme. To update, just delete and reinstall.

On the contact page, it only supports 1 location for the map. If you need multiple locations, I suggest using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-google-maps/
To turn off comments, please go to Dashboard=>Settings=>Discussion.
Go to Dashboard=>Theme Options=>Footer to change image and link for the Footer Logo (Instagram) icon.

Please go to Theme Options=>Less compiler to turn off the less compiler function to prevent the error. After that, ask your server provider to increase the PHP memory to 128M.

Hi, I have a problem with the menu in the ipad with orientation landscape. The menu doesn’t respects my css rules and I see it in a wrong position but i can’t change its position because my css rules are ignored. I have added the menu with the php code: <?php echo wp_nav_menu( array( “theme_location” => “primary” ) ); ?>, and i put my css rules in the file style.css in the media query @media screen and (min-device-width: 1024px) and (max-device-width: 1100px) { css rules}.

The PSD files are of great help, that is a pretty great PLUS to have them. I have a silly question. You still recommend to always provide two images as to High Resolution needs (Retina) right? Example a 200×200 filename and another 400×400 filename@2x . And what about SVG files? At present I am not aware of any other better solution than providing always TWO images (one for 72 dpi and one for RDR). Yes, what ya think about relying on SVG images??

In this theme, I only use images in one resolution. I don’t recommend to use 2 images. I don’t use SVG files, too.
If you want your images appears on retina screen as well, you just need to make your images in double size.

Let me understand: as to loading two different images is ok, my own job to do. As to the Mandala Theme: is it already equipped with a .JS script or else to manage the two images for normal and HD Monitors or is up to me to set up a script (e.g. retina.js or else) to make the Theme automatically serve high-res images? Another question too: in the Theme features published here on the right side (below the latest update date) it says HIGH RESOLUTION = YES. What means a Theme is HIGH RESOLUTION? That I can use HD videos in backgrounds (example) or something else I am misunderstanding?? Thank you Road Guys!

In this theme I don’t use js or anything else to make the website displays with 2 resolutions of images. When you see the high resolution, it doesn’t mean retina ready.
Maybe you are confusing between high resolution with retina ready. My theme can be displayed on full hd (1080p) screen so it’s the high resolution theme. But retina, it uses images in x2 size.
The simple thing you can see here is this theme doesn’t support retina resolution. When we view the website in the retina screen, it looks same on other screens.

I see it’s responsive. Responsive means that the element fit in width with the website. The height is automatically.
I think you should reduce height of the picture with the “Women” text.

But the video should fit with the frame in both cases: width and height and complete that blank space if you say that the video is responsive, so adaptable… please your help, thanks.

I have tried to resize the video in height but I found that the video always keep the original scale ratio. So I think the best solution to make the website look better is change the image on left side.
To make more details zoom in product page, you need to use larger image size for your product images, change the settings for the Zoom Magnifier plugin.

In the WooCommerce settings, we have other shipping options like Local Delivery, International Delivery.

This is a feature of WordPress, when editing a page/post, click on “Screen Options” on top right then check on “discussion” checkbox. Scroll down then uncheck on “allow comment” checkbox. Save page/post.

But i can’t change the home page, i would like to take away the ‘blog’ paragraph, disabling the right sidebar, take away the newsletter paragraph on the footer and add a new grid. Can you tell me how i can do it?

1. Home-page-4 => it has something that looks like sidebar on the right side of main page with Testimonials and a Banner there. Where can I modify that ?
2. I am creating a news-page. Since I want it to show all posts and all my posts will be news I assigned it as a blog page in Read-options. Now I have a huge banner on top with a “Blog” in it, and my breadcrumbs say that this page is “Blog”. I want “News” there instead of “Blog”, could u tell me where can I modify that “Blog_layout” ? 1. Please edit your home page, you will see the testimonials widget with a banner.
2. If you want to change the “Blog” to News”, Go to Appearance=>Editor then edit the “index.php”, change the “Blog” in the div with class “blog_header”. There are 3 layouts for the blog, you can select in Dashboard=>Theme Options=>Blog=>Blog Layout.

I changed “Blog” in blog_header, header now comes correct, but breadcrumbs say this page is still a “Blog”. How to make my News page called “News” in breadcrumbs instead of “Blog” ?

Ok, ty Now I have a string like this “Posted by Me/News/0 comments” on my “News-page” and inside single post page. I need to translate it. So I need to get to the code which displays that string in both cases.
You can edit the “functions.php” and find these functions: “road_entry_meta” and “road_entry_meta_small”. Translate text in the $utility_text row.

I have noticed that the [yith_compare_button] was not removed when displaying the products on a list. Also there is a black separator that should be gone since there is no button on the right of the wishlist.

1. To remove the menu title, go to Theme Options=>Footer=>Menus and switch off the “Show menu title”.
2. Please edit the “footer-x.php” with x is the layout of footer that you selected from Theme Options=>Footer & the “footer-contact.php”. Search for “ft-newsletter” to replace this div content with code you got from MailChimp.

I use the sharing icons on product details page from the “roadthemes-helper” plugin. You can open the “wp-content/plugins/roadtheme-helper/roadtheme-helper.php” to find the “road_product_sharing” function.
But I don’t have experience in Instagram sharing.

We have some product prices that are set to Zero. The “0” is showing on the individual page and in “all” products page (should not be visible). We need this to show nothing. We are trying to use WooCommerce Jetpack to override this and its not working. We have tried many options and feel the theme is stopping the changes?
