I have a little problem with the search bar. When I add tags to a company (like: “pain” in my case (french for bread)) and I search “pain” in the top search bar + the left bar it says there is no result.

Hi hope all is well, when you or your user creates a listing you actually insert and address or coordinates (lat,long) then once youbclcik on save the position is automatically added to thé map

Thanks for reply. I’m using the non wordpress version because im trying to integrate into an existing asp.net project. But how can i call the map functions to add co ordinates? I have a database of coordinates etc but need to display them on the map is the gmaps.js used in the project ?

Hi there, we’re working on an implementation of your theme “Globo”, and I’ve found a few bugs that require fixing
1) The “Add listing” button is not visible on mobile devices, so currently the theme cannot be used on mobile. Because of its importance, could you please make a fix for this?
2) Just FYI, on mobile devices the index page shows a rogue briefcase icon right above “GLOBO Categories”, which is caused by ”<button></button>” which seems out of place in the code. Removing this HTML fixes that issue

Thanks a lot! Another question, do you think that in some time you would be able to add some more form elements? Right now, there basically is the contact us page where, for example, I see two half size text input boxes, which basically are half sized in CSS by having the selector making the first one half sized.. It would be great if there was something like a “half” CSS class, and a select box as well, because right now I took one from the top filter bar, and its been hard to get it to work outside of that bar.
Hi phoenixz, hope you are fine. If you need some extra form class with half size and full size you can use bootstrap grid layout, just remove the css that we use for half size form elements. You can find the style for half size style.css’s 6409 and 6419 number line. Just remove it and use bootstrap grid for resize form fields. It would be gave you more flexible to add extra form field. Ok, thanks, it was my mistake. I have some more questions. On my site dropdown option menus arn’t bahaveing the same way as they do on your demo site. On my site i have to click on the arrow to pop tem out but on your site i can click anywhere on the input field. I hope you know what i mean. Beside that everything works just fine. I need an advice. Is it possible to zoom out the map to include all poi’s. Instead puting zoom value, just to use border poi’s as zoom markers. One more thing :-.).. is it posible to tur on the google command buttons (zoom etc..) Thank you in advance. Great template. I reccomend it!!

Instead puting zoom value, just to use border poi’s as zoom markers” yes you can adjust it instead putting zoom value, its all in the scripts.js and we use here gmap.js you can find more available option to play with map on their site. “is it posible to tur on the google command buttons” yes its also possible , we hided it for the design purpose. You can find it on the less/style/header/header-map.less file’s 55 no line or css/style.css file’s 3780 no line, just remove it and you should get google command buttons. Thanks UOU

OK, i have multiple markers on a map. It’s dynamicly genereted from db so i need a way to adjust zoom level to be optimal automatically. According to documentation on gmap.js site way to achive this is fitLatLngBounds but my knowlege of java s. is limited. I cann’t get it to work. Searching on google I found lot of people have solved this with fitLatLngBounds but their syntax is diffrent and i can’t get it to work… i hope you understend my problem. Thank you again :)... I have a price question for you :)..Is there a simple way to implement <optgroup> in your select input box in search bar ? Wright now your js is just ignoring it. Thank you for your support. I hope you don’t regret those 16€ with me annoying you guys..

Can you please open scripts.js file and remove the line number 215 “zoom: 6,” this will give you zoom in/out functionality, but for dynamicaly adjust zoom level you need to rewrite some scripts, better you contact a developer. for <optgroup> it wasn’t in the design, you can use “select2 jquery plugin”, its really easy and have lots of option for you. I am the author of Postman SMTP. Unfortunately, the Globo theme creates a problem, as it loads its Javascript files on all admin pages, instead of just the public pages, breaking admin pages it does not even own. The WordPress codex frowns on this practice.

Hello is this conflict happening with a third party plugin ? we can’t garantee the compatibility with third party plugins as it goes beyond the scope of our work + the person says: You could try installing Query Monitor or Debug plugins to capture where the error is happening and that may help identify it to the dev ?
I’ve already identified the problem for your dev. They are loading Javascript on pages where their Javascript should not be loaded. I agree, you can’t guarantee compatibility with all third party plugins. But intentionally ignoring the rules laid out by the WordPress Codex is not a minor offence and speaks to the quality of the product you publish. As a third-party plugin developer with a product affected by your theme, I respectfully ask that your development team take a closer look at the code they write.

On the other hand we follow the guidelines of themeforest reviewers so if the theme is in concordance with the standards set by the TF reviewers then we do not look further. but of course if it’s about best practices then we need to find the win-win situation in order to balance between flexibility & quality
