Hi, Can you provide a link to your site to take a look? If you use a template with page builder + latest article you can hide all the pagebuilder part and leave on mobile only the latest article.

or you can use a mobile plugin that redirect you on mobile to another page like WpTouch(Doesn’t have experience with those type of plugins)

Glad you’ve managed to find it, you’re right the social sharing buttons code is not located din the td_module_single.php file anymore in the latest theme version and the guide hasn’t been after the change.

The style.css can be moved at the bottom with the plugin but can cause ugly loading, because is at the bottom of the page. Te site to look nice should load the css first, but if the CSS is at the bottom could cause ugly rendering.

Please test this without having any plugins active, make sure you empty all caches and also purge CDN files then disable all plugins you use leaving just the Visual Composer plugin active and test again. Also make sure you remove any custom css you use. The reply was that I need to build my site locally before uploading. How is that possible? You guys have given me excellent service on NewsMag. My first question on NewsPaper though is not helping me out at all.

Sorry that we couldn’t provide more help, Newsmag and Newspaper are different themes and there’s no easy way to switch between them. The blocks are different so you have to rebuild the pages and the sidebars. The settings are not passed from one theme to the other because they are different, because of this you have to set the header, the menus, the footer and make the desired settings in the Theme Panel area.

To speed up this migration you could try to install wordpress locally and experiment with the Newspaper theme (try to copy your current site layout, or build something new). When you’re done it will be easier to make changes on the live site and the time to migrate from one theme to the other will be lower. It’s a common practice to use local development/testing installs to make experiments before you apply modifications on the live site.

Before you make any change a good practice would be to backup your site (files and database). You also need to remove the plugins which come with Newsmag and install the ones which come with Newspaper.

also, the theme panel is very weirdly setup, the options scroll much longer downward and leave a lot of blank space vs the current.
