Hello, I’m interested in purchasing this theme however, I have several questions:
1. Can the “Additional Information” line items be edited, removed, or new fields added? 2. Can I change the footer image? 3. Can I change the size of the logo? 4. Can I add a search feature for properties? 5. can I add additional search features such as location, price range, bedroom counts, bathroom counts, square feet count, etc?
and can I link to the IDX system?

Mj-estate do not have RTL as of now, but will give you support for RTL if you want to purchase it.

yes its seo friendly in cluding property listing. Since the property listing uses standard K2 component, all the powerful features of K2 is available.

I changed the permission of some folders and subfolders in media/k2 and i can now upload images successfully. the only issue is that my images refuse to display in the featured properties xpertscroller. featured Items that come with the template still displays but any item i add does not display image on the Home page featured properties section. Also my property locations have disappeared from the drop down in the Find your property module. you can check out – www.mydemowebs.com/kadunaproperties1

for the search, there is one component called ‘com_estates’ and also one module is also there ‘mod_search_estate’, you can customize these extension for your requirements.
The com_estates component is not customizable from my joomla backend, it leaves the message: “This Component is not For Admin Functionality It Used For Only Site Functionality.” Also, the search estate module does not have any provision for editing the dropdowns in the search form. One of my major motivation for purchasing this template is this search functionality but its now a challenge customizing it to suite my need. Need your help as soon as possible, my time to deliver is running out. Thanks in anticipation.
With mj_estate , you can search with custom fields. Search field are controlled by K2 component’s extra filed,here you have to add your particular field and related to that field you need to customize the ‘mod_search_estate’ modules.
you have to change in the mod_search_estate.php file , helper.php file and tmpl/defult.php file from the 'mod_search_estate' modulescan you be more explicit with the steps pls?
The customization need you have should be done by professional programmer. What I have pointed is the files that the programmer needs to ammend to achieve the end results you desire.
Thanks dasinfomedia, I’ve been able to customize the search dropdown in relation to the k2 extrafields. Now, the search is not working, i think there’s something i’ve not done yet. Pls where in the code do i need to alter to get the search working.

I’ve been working on local host. when i uploaded the site to give you ftp access as requested, i found out d following: First, i couldn’t access the administrator backend due to ‘Magic_quote on’ error with Joomla 3.3. secondly, all menus that has to do with k2 category and item listing came up with ‘Mb_string .. call to undefined function error’.
To overcome the magic_quote settings problem, i reverted to the 2.5.8 joomla version of template. i can now access the backend. To overcome the k2 issue, i commented out lines 103,104,105 and 108 in k2category.php, corresponding lines in k2items.php and route.php. now its working fine. i want to know pls what is the implication of this code alteration? could it pose any threat to the site now or later? Thanks

I’m finding it difficult to customize the estate search component to carry my own list locations and price, i cant locate the html for it. Even if its a third party extension, i’ll still appreciate your support.

You can go forward with purchase. It is very easy to update properties. We have used K2 component for properties.
We have also provided easy installation guide and documentation.

I have question about K2. My partners have a basic site with list of properties and images, and the properties export into XML feed. I am going to import this feed into my base but the images in my base will be represent like URLs to external images. Will K2 component show these external images? Thanks. And sorry for my weak English.
It can show the image. But you will have to create custom fields in K@ for external images and then when you import XML you have to map it against these fields.

I have bought this template. And now I want to add some style for the new elements. When I add style “float:left;width:25%;” in mj-layout.css it work fine on PC. But on my Iphone I want to see each of these elements one below another and I add style “float:left;width:95%;” to mj-mobile.css. On the Iphone it’s OK now, but on PC these elements are one below another. How can I do that on PC style to be “width:25%” and on mobile version “width:95%”. Thanks.
You have done right process for responsive.
Check mj-mobile.css
Check css with proper media query? @media screen and (max-width: 750px) { }
Or It may also some formatting- bracket issue..

Go to site -> modules -> mod_search_estate -> language -> your default language file

2) Value in Dropdown Go to k2 component and open product Change in Extra Field value
3) Change image Open module position-4 Change Home Featured4 Custom Html

Thanks for showing interest. 1) You get everything you need to get your real estate website based on Joomla. The package has template, demo data, extensions, PSD and Documentation. 2) you need to have hosting setup where you can install the template. House Images in demo is not part of package, but I think you will have properties of your own so that should not be a problem. 3) You will receive support through this system and through the emails.
Hi, I downloaded this theme and the installation instructions for a pre-existing Joomla 3.0 says to “Unzip the Mj-Estate_Package.zip file and find the theme.zip”. I cannot find MJ-Estate_Package.zip file and I also cannot find theme.zip. I unzipped mj-estate_30.zip and it does not contain theme.zip either. Can you help me find these files somewhere inside of the downloaded themeforest-4625728-mj-estate.zip file?

Hi There, I need a Joomla Template for a Rent-A-Car website. It needs to contain fields like car model, pick-up and drop-off dates and time. some of this is possible like adding customer fields car model, pick up and drop off dates. You can define this from backend. but tieing up customer form with that will require code modification at your end.
