Slider shortcode has a property called Auto Play Speed (you can modify it in the shortcode’s properties in Rapid Composer). Settings in the demo is 3000 – if you want to make it slower (for example 10 seconds per slide) set it to 10000.

In regards to performance, you can identify slow loading items by observing Network tab in Chrome’s Developer tools panel or by using Firefox’s Firebug plugin (Net tab). Usually the biggest improvement can be achieved by optimization of images used on the site.
Plugin which can help with other kinds of bottlenecks (server load, delivery of optimized js and css files) is W3 Total Cache (https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/)
Finally, if you want to remove loading screen from your site, you can add the following Custom CSS in Appearance > Customize > General panel

The posts shortcode displays post excerpt if it is defined. The posts you’ve edited do have the excerpt defined – so changing content alone will not help. You need to edit the excerpt too.

It seems that the code works fine – we have inspected the page, embedded the<a href="mailto:info@bold-themes.com">Link</a>code and it opened the email client without navigating away from the page.

You can add multiple slide shortcodes within slider shortcode ssing Rapid Composer. This will add multiple slides to the page.
If you import demo content, you can inspect the page structure of front pages within demos. They all have sliders as first sections and slides within sliders.

The common cause for this is short php script timeout in the server environment which prevents the execution of entire import procedure in one call.
Have you tried repeating the import procedure until it finishes successfully? Depending on the server settings and bandwidth you might need to retry ten times or more.
