It seems that there are some issues in installation, so I suggest you to delete the existing installation of all wordpress site and then set up new site so I can set up everything for you. Do not install any plugin, I will do everything for you. Just give me admin user and password (not here in forum but email).

We have been trying to fix this but then decided to create our own magnifier library, so please deactivate YITH magnifier plugin, and go to Theme Options > Shop Settings:

If I use Chrome the loading does’t have so many errors (but sometimes yes). Safari is a mess. Everitime I try to see a page it has css problems.

We don’t have this issue on our theme, and it should work to you too. Can you please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

Hi Apichat,

That error is happening because you have forgot to update Visual Composer and other plugin updates by going to Appearance > Install Plugins.

Download this file http://drops.laborator.co/1aLMp+ and replace it in: wp-content/themes/aurum/inc/lib/visual-composer/

And then you can enter your WP admin, just don’t forget to update all your plugins on the place where i mentioned earlier.

You are using an old version of our theme (2.3.5) and the latest version for the moment is (2.6), please update theme first.

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure

Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

Aurum is a Wordpress theme and it can be used only with Wordpress, we don’t offer Aurum on HTML version.

The problems with the plugins will be fixed when we release the new theme update, these are just reminders that new plugin versions are available but you cannot update them automatically as the plugin authors do not allow that.

Regarding the installation problem, you have just imported the files once and if you want to re-install a content pack you will need to delete the media and content.

I found out already that for changing color of search / basket (question 5) and toggle (question 2) – i had to change manually color in the image file itself…

1. To activate mobile menu on iPad landscape mode you can add this CSS in Custom CSS:

@media screen and (max-width: 1024px) {

    header.mobile-menu {
        display: block !important;
    }

    header.site-header {
        display: none !important;
    }
}

2. If you are talking about mobile menu toggle, then add this CSS to change the color:

header.mobile-menu .mobile-logo .mobile-toggles .toggle-menu svg {
fill: #ffffff;
}

3. The CSS to change price tag color is this:

.shop .shop-item h3.price {
background-color: #d22a30;
color: #fff;
}

Change these to your preferred colors.

4. If you create a page with Visual Composer, click on Row edit, and check then on Design options, apply margin for that page.

5. To change the basket color:

header.site-header .header-widgets .search-form .search-btn svg {
fill: #fff;
}

The CSS provided in 2. and 5. will allow you to change with Custom CSS so it will not be affected by upcoming updates of Aurum.

Its weird, you are the first to report this issue. Because you see a blank white screen there must be an error with PHP so I need to see what kind of error is before I can give you the solution to it.

Can you please enable WP Debug Mode because I am not able to exactly know what kind of issue is this.

To turn on WP Debug Mode, follow these steps:

1. Open wp-config.php

2. Find WP_DEBUG constant (written as define('WP_DEBUG', false);)

3. Set value to true (define('WP_DEBUG', true);) and save file.

4. Go to the same page, refresh it and you will see a PHP warning or fatal error being display. Copy the error or better send me the screenshot so I will be able to understand what kind of issue is that and will give you proper fix to it.

Hi there,

The mega menu is a premium plugin (UberMenu) and it is optional, it is not included in the theme and the worst is that this plugin does not have any import/export function so we could give you the files and you would simply import it, so you will have to add the menu one by one.

Regarding your second question, go to Appearance > Menus at the top-right corner is Screen Options, click that and make sure the Product Categories is ticked.

With regards to the mega menu, it says in the Item Details that the theme includes the Mega Menu option. It was quite important feature for me.

Unfortunately it doesn’t include the menu, we aren’t allowed to include it in the theme from the plugin author, that was the idea but then we had only to support it.

In the homepage is not possible to add such option because currently you are using a custom page that shows mixed content and uses products shortcode, which doesn’t supports ordering dropdown.

That option is only supported in shop page:

I think you misunderstood. I am not using the NavXT plugin. I have implemented the standard woocommerce breadcrumbs code in my childtheme. I was suggesting you simply add the option in a future release.
