Hi,
I have some problems with setting up a MAIN blog page which shows all the posts. I managed to create a simle page and added a blog grid, but is does not look like this page from the template: http://withemes.com/simple-elegant/blog/
How should I set up a page like linked above? It is not written in the documentation of the theme. Thank you.

Wish you a happy new year. This is a generic WordPress problem, not a theme feature so we dont include it into the documentation because the Theme’s documentation can not cover everything in WordPress core feature.
To setup blog page, please navigate to Dashboard > Reading and select posts page as some page you’ve created. You don’t need to insert anything to the page content.

As it name, this theme has not many options to adjust things however you can follow instructions on support site. It’s quite easy

After installing the theme will I find sample / template pages in the installation. With other premium themes I got a lot of template pages which were the basis of the deign and they helped a lot.

As you see on the demo, the theme has only several pages. Our initial approach was minimalism.
If you wish to setup your site as demo, you can follow the Documentation included in the download package. There’re few pages so you can delete them after importing the demo.

Hello, Thanks that helped. Now I am stuck with the Customizer Export/Import plugin. As per the documentation after installing this plugin I should be able to select Appearance > Customizer > Import/Export. The plugin is installed but this menu is not available… How can I proceed now? Regards.

1/ For each single project, if you have many pictures & you wanna organize them in a gallery, you should use a gallery plugin instead. WordPress Jetpack (free) supports a beautiful gallery. Also, if you’re looking for a high quality gallery, you can try Best Galleries on CodeCanyon
2/ If you wish to organize your photos in a slider then it’s an included feature of Simple & Elegant. See this:

Hi, As for portfolio section, if i choose “portfolio gallery”, I can arrange different category, such as “creative”, but how i can click into “creative” section where i can view portfolio which under “creative”? I can’t find the link.

Thank you. I think there’s a misunderstanding here, maybe me or you. To clarify things:
- “Creative” is a project category
- All squares are project items.
When you click to portfolio on the menu, it shows all items under all categories.
When you click to “Creative”, it shows all items under category “Creative”.

1/ Columns for pages are built from Visual Composer (included free). If you don’t like it, you can user shortcode vc_row for this.
2/ Boxed layout with background is not available at this time but we’re improving this theme & will add this soon. But now you can use a full layout with background & turning it into boxed layout is just a single line of code. We’ll help you once you’ve purchased.
3/ Lightbox portfolio image is not available now but we may add this feature soon (sorry but there’s no ETA). You can bookmark & come back to check it later.

Hi, i have a pre-sale question. I really like your theme and i would like to buy it. but what i need is a split menu. I need some of the menu points over the header like it is now, and i would need some of them unter the header – is that possible? And would that also work with the mobile version?
Hi. Thank you for your interest. The theme comes with 2 menus like on the demo. One is topbar and one is below the header. Both of them works on mobile.

Yes Beth. Projects are organized by categories as posts. Let try to click to the list of categories above the portfolio. For instance

To change the logo width, just navigate to Customizer > Header > Logo width & enter a number, eg. 600.

Oh, it sounds this is an issue caused by content width option. Let help me to fix it now, I’ll fix it in the next update.
Please remove 1020px in content width option and paste this code to Customizer > Custom CSS:
@media only screen and (min-width: 1081px) {
.container{width:1020px;}
}

You can sell prints by integrating WooCommerce plugin. At this time, the theme doesn’t support WooCommerce 100% (but it works) however I’ll add this feature in the future (very soon, I promise)
