I would like to use the pages-extension (v1.0.3) – but when I create a page and want to preview it, i get the following message:
Unable to find template “pages_default.html” (looked into: ./styles/metro_blue/template, ./styles/metro_blue/theme).
Is there no template prepared for pages ?

Try the following -
Go to the extension folder (YOUR_FORUM\ext\phpbb\pages\styles), duplicate “prosilver” folder and then rename it into “metro_blue”. And don’t forget to update the forum cache via AdminCP – General tab – Purge the cache – Run now. It should work.
I was contacted the other day saying that this them was updated, however the theme’s page still doesn’t list what was updated. What’s new in the latest update?

Since migrating to PHPBB3 and the latest Metro theme release I find it rather problematic to get my custom logo in place. Could you have a look at the screenshot – where can I adjust the padding of the header?

Nope. I rolled back to PHPbb3 3.0.1.2 with an older release of the Metro Theme I still would love to tackle the issue but will test it on a test forum as I noticed many plugins I use are not working on phpbb3 3.0.1.6. Will let you know when I am ready for your advice in adjusting the header / logo. Should be soon.

The theme is built upon the default phpBB 3 theme “prosilver” so it supports all the extensions the original theme supports. The above extensions work with the theme too. The only thing you may need is to change some styling. But if you still want a refund you need to contact Envato support on the subject.

What do you mean? Aren’t they clickable? Or did I miss anything?
Nope, when I’m in a sub forum and hover over the breadcrumbs my cursor doesn’t change, except in what appears to be 1 pixel as the far left of the little home icon. That one pixel width links back to the board index.
Is it 3.0 or 3.1 version?
3.1 Tested on Mac OSX, same in Safari, Chrome and Vivaldi.

i am using the 3.1.6 version of phpbb3. However the styles are not shown in the phpbb3 ACP , so i cannot install them.

It seems you’re using a wrong version of the theme. Try to install the one from the ‘phpBB 3.1’ folder.
I’ve replaced one of the tab images with a base64 uri and it’s strange, but on mobile the image shows up on the quick links drop down menu for example:

I checked the error in Google Chrome and didn’t meet it. Moreover I looked for the file (content-script.js) on the demo server and failed to find it. Could it be a file from a Chrome extension? Could you please check the error in any other browser like Firefox or IE?

Anyway, I was curious, how does the user registration system work? Is that all handled on my my website/server/host or does it send information to a 3rd party site?

It depends on what WebCMS you’re using. E.g. you’re using WordPress – in this case you need to install phpBB (forum software to use our theme), then install a bridge addon to unite your site user database with the forum (or don’t install a bridge addon if you don’t have any users registered on your site). That’s all!

Yes, there is a mistake in the documentation! You need extra “span” tag around the link text. It should look like –

I am using your Metro theme on Phpbb v3.1.6. It looks awesome!
I customized the theme with my own logo. On a desktop/ipad it looks nice but on a phone it is messed up due to the logo size. Any suggestions on how to fix that (other than making my logo very small)?

I’m sorry, but how do i cache SVG images; I’ve asked before to have all the images converted into PNG. My page speed is suffering because the SVG images aren’t being cached. Please reply to my message; I’ve posted one before, but you’ve missed it.
