Hi, Just go to Appearance > Customize > Header settings and you will find logo or upload logo you want. It’s just demo content to show you changes effect in customize screen.
Also, theme comes with extensive documentation will help you too much. Extract ZIP theme package to normal folder > Documentation > index.html open in your browser and read it carefully

Hi! I really love the preview of your theme and I’m interested in buying it. I am a Blogger from Germany and I need to fulfill special requirements regarding the Social Media Share Buttons, because of privacy laws. So here’s my question: Is it possible to 1. use other share buttons with your theme (like Shariff) and 2. is it possible to turn the Social Media Buttons off at the home page? (next to the continue reading button). Thanks!
Hi, Thanks for being interested in Tulip theme. 1. It’s the first time hear about Shariff network. Anyway we just integrated most famous and used networks for sharing articles as you see in demo.
2. Yes you can remove social sharing but it will remove from posts too. Not only homepage.

I’m trying to update the theme with Envato Toolkit. When I try to update, it fails and the message I am getting is, that the update failed because it wasn’t possible to get permission from the theme to copy the files.
How’s that? And what can I do?
Hi, you can do it manually. That’s our way till now
Just go to downloads and download new version then extract it and update using FTP. Or reomove previous theme and install new version.

But I’ve made customization in the theme and I’ve translated the language. Won’t it be deleted?
Don’t worry. Customization saved in database and it will be the same. But you must transfer translated po and mo file to new version.
You can avoid risk be using FTP and replace old theme files by new one
Hi, I just replaced the files with the new update (the date says 01/07/2016, is this correct?). But I can’t see if the upates have been applied. Do I have to do something in the wordpress dashboard? Update anything in themes?
Go to Appearance > themes > click on tulip theme and check version number of it.
It says version 1.2, so nothing happened? I manually replaced the files by using FTP. Did I do something wrong?
You are right. latest version of theme is 1.2 that’s main you updated it correctly.
Hi, I’m having a similar problem to yamilyn. I can’t change the layout of my blog www.thereetpetite.com. I cannot find in wordpress how to use one of the layouts that come with the theme (grid, masonry, etc) All my posts just appear chronologically on the homepage and my sidebar is at the bottom of the page. I have tried the solution suggested to yamilyn but I cannot find a “downloaded folder” in the Tulip Zip file. Please help. Thanks

You have little misunderstanding . Just Download full theme ZIP package > Extract in to normal folder and open it > Documentation > index.html open in your browser and read it carefully.
You will find how to use page templates in Pages section in documentation. Here is a tips if you can’t understand from documentation. Go to Pages > Create new page called it Home or any name. Select page template for it. Go to Settings > Reading and select this Home Page as front page.
Don’t forget to review Tulip theme

Hello, I’ve purchased Tulip and it’s nice, however I have a problem with the pagination in a static home page (using one of the 3 provided templates): if I use them as normal pages everything works fine, but when I set one of them as static home page, the page parameter is chopped off the url redirecting to simply the home page that is with page=1 for pagination. I noticed that the same problem exists in your demo site, do you have any tips to solve this ? I’ve sent you already an email through the support button here on themeforest, but I wasn’t sure was the right way, so I’m writing here also. Thanks in advance Marco

I’m interested in purchasing this theme, however, I need a guarantee of that it is possible to change the language from English to Danish. For instance the part that says “continue reading”. Is this possbible? Maybe even manual editing in the code?

Thank you for the quick reply! I know that when editing in the code in a wrong way, any new update of the theme can override that – will it be done in another way to prevent this? And will you recommend this theme for a very simple, yet stylish blog about books/literature and office items?
Yes, we follow WordPress theme development standards. And sure it will be very safe method. Tulip theme is very clean and very simple to use. Just read Documentation after buying it and before doing anything. I will help you to create blog like demo

Hi, 1. You can use regenerate thumbnail plugin. Go to documentation see last section. It have all steps to do it. 2. You must select Image Post type for every post. 3. You can edit excerpt or read more tag. Go to Documentation > Post and you will find all tips to do that.

Anyway. Go to downloaded folder > Documentation > index.html open and read in your browser. You will find all tips you need to change layout and use all options like demo.
