I see there are some errors from Revolution Slider on your site. Maybe, the current version of this plugin on your site is not compatible with your WordPress 4.4.1. First, thanks so much for a great portfolio template. As I have been loading more content onto my page (www.howardnewstate.com), the portfolio has a scroll bar appearing on the right side of the homepage (scroll down to the portfolio section to see what I mean).
How do I get rid of the scroll bar? I have the portfolio set to “infinite” with 10 items showing, so not sure if I am just missing some setting.

Please try again. Visit the page and click at a sub page – then look at the menu. If the error does not appear, please refresh the home page. If possible, please provide your e-mail address so that i can send you a screenshot.
Another problem we have is that in mobile version the headings are scaled very small, while the rest of the content stays at the same size. Is there a way to fix it?

I tried the code you gave me but it does not work. The size of every text changes immediately and the the mobile version breaks at some points.

This is the easiest way to fix this issue but if your text is too long, the text will overflow the screen so you should use the short headings as well.
The code does not work too. In dektop version it does not affect the text, but in mobile we have the same issue like before. All text is formated into the new size. This does not solve the problem. What else could we do?
The code above will work on mobile only so it won’t affect the text on desktop. That code will increase the size of your headings so they will be bigger. Please try adding it again so I will visit your website on my mobile to see if it works.
Regarding the heading I found the solution. I updated the theme and i also updated safari. The safari issue is still remaining – the menu disappears sometimes. Just visit the page and reload the home page, then you will see.
Another issue is appeared: The video player of the visual composer does not work. It does not support a video URL.
We’ve just tried with Safari on Macbook Air and sometimes we see this issue. Don’t know why it didn’t happened on our iMac. Don’t worry we will fix this issue ASAP! Thank you for taking the time to report this issue.
Regarding the video player, this element will embed videos into your page, you can only embed URLs matching an internal whitelist as you see in this page -> https://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds#Okay.2C_So_What_Sites_Can_I_Embed_From.3F
You can’t add a URL of your video file or self-host video to this element directly. Please upload your video to video hosting services such as YouTube and Vimeo instead.

I just visited your site and I see your video slider is working fine with its sound, your slider can play the audio properly. Seems like you figured it out.
Regarding the menu issue, our devs are currently working on it, we don’t know why it didn’t work only with Safari on some devices. Please wait for our next update so this issue will be resolved.
Yes i fixed the sound problem but there is another issue: If you visit the page in mobile version, the video slider does not work – it does not fit into the display and does not play – even if you click on it. Any idea?

The video slider doesn’t support mobile browser so it will display a fallback image instead. Please don’t forget to set the Poster Image option for your video so it will display as the fallback image on mobile.

It’s too hard to edit the styles of the hover effects since each of effect has the different styles. You should choose from 11 existing effects from the theme.
However, we can provide you the code for editing them so please specify which effect you’d like to modify.
Regarding the effect on mobile, we will remove the transparent box from the portfolio image in our next update.

Hello, I am having some issues with the image format on my single portfolio items. The images are being cropped and not scaled properly. See example… How can I fix this. When I click on image it is correct but on original display it is not right.

In portfolio grid layout, your images will be cropped to 640×640px that fits perfectly within the grid layout.
Normally, your images should be exactly square.
Unfortunately, your site is currently using the Left Navigation and the width of the grid is less than it should be so your images are not scaled properly. This issue will be fixed in our next update!

My website running the Flora theme seems not to be loading on mobile devices. It stays stuck on the loading icon. I have disabled all plug-ins, which didn’t resolve the issue. After switching to another theme it did load on mobile. Any ideas to what might be causing the problem?

Seems to be a problem with the phone browser. It does load in google chrome, but not the standard android browser.
Absolutely! The old version of Android browser doesn’t support modern CSS and it has a bug with CSS animation in some version of this browser so this theme doesn’t support this browser.
If you’re using Android, please use Chrome for Android instead.

I am having a problem with the team member page. Once I create a member and enter all the data, I press the view page in order to see it and the only things that appear are the name of the member, the date and the buttons for the next and previous member. How can I make it in order for all the data of the member to show?

The Team Members Slider element is only for displaying the members in a slider. You need to create your members in Team Members section on admin menu. If you’d like you can import only members demo content in Theme Options -> Home to see the sample data of team members.

I just inspected the code on your website and I see there are some errors from Slider Revolution plugin that cause the main script from the theme won’t work so it can’t add the class “active” to the header when the page was loaded.
Try updating the theme so you will receive a new update of Slider Revolution as well.
Hope this helps since it’s working fine on our demo sites that installed the latest update of the theme and Slider Revolution plugin.

I just inspected the code on your website, I see there is a “noscript” tag in the code, see the image below:
When you inspect the code on our demo sites, you won’t see this code at all so it works fine on our demo site, see -> http://wydethemes.com/flora1/shop/

This code causes the images slider problem. I suppose it came from another plugin on your site, please deactivate other plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin.
Comes out that it from my cache plugin. What should i do about that ?
Looks like it’s lazyload related. The theme lazyload conflict with WP-Rocket Lazyload. Dont look like we can disable the theme lazyload so i will have to desactivate the WP-Rocket one. Cheers
If you’re talking about the lazy load with AJAX Page Loader, you can turn off this feature in Theme Options -> AJAX Page. Or add the name of your product page to the Excluded URLs option so your page won’t be loaded by AJAX Loader.
So exept Ajax loader there is no lazyload related code ? If i disable ajax page loader i will be able to reactivate lazyload ?
nevermind, ajax page loader is already desactivate, so your lazyload come from elsewhere…
Could it be this setting ? : Preload Images Preloading images definitely helps users enjoy a better experience when viewing your content.
This theme has only one of lazyload feature that preloads all images before showing the page content, this feature is Preload Images that you can turn off in Theme Options -> General -> Preload Images.
it’s already turned off, but the issue is still there, in fact both options you mention was on default in off position. So i’m not sure what to do next…
If you’d like to use this plugin with the theme but you have any problem when you activate the plugin. You should disable some features of this plugin that is not compatible with the theme. If it still doesn’t work, we recommend you to use another cache plugin instead. We’ve W3 Total Cache on our demo sites that’s working fine.

I am currently constructing a site with this theme (which is great by the way) however there’s an issue im facing with the tabbed content in Firefox. The first tab shows correctly but second third etc dont show? Seems to be the same on your elements page too.

One Page site will load the content from the pages in the primary menu. Make sure you already set the primary menu in Appearance -> Menus. If it still doesn’t work that means there is an error while loading the page content, this might be because your site has a plugin conflict issue. Try deactivating other plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin.
I have 3 info boxes in a row as per the Creative Agency demo site which all have a large icon visible. When you rollover the icon on a mac the icon changes to the copy but this does not happen on an iPad, I’ve checked out the icons on the demo site on the iPad and these work fine so what have I done to loose the click functionality?

This issue has been fixed in Flora 1.1.2, make sure you’re using Flora 1.1.2 or above. If you’ve a cache plugin on your site, please clear all caches after updating the theme.
It doesn’t say the theme has an update my end, how do I update to 1.1.2?
You can update the theme manually by downloading a new update from your download page on ThemeForest and upload it to replace the old one. If you upload through FTP or File Manager, you can upload a new theme folder, “flora” to replace the old one in “wp-content/themes/flora”. If you upload through WP admin, you should delete the current version before uploading a new one.
Also, you can update the theme automatically by using Envato WordPress Toolkit plugin. For more details on how to update the theme please follow the instructions in our documentation.

Thanks. I’ve now noticed that since I updated to 1.2.2 when I try to add a new element to my pages the element block doesn’t get added to the page it is just blank. I can add them to existing columns or rows in my site but not add a new one. Also the ‘Text Block’ element has lost its formatting panels so I don’t see any way of changing the colour of text or adding a link etc etc?
Sorry but we’ve never seen this issue on our demo sites. Sounds like there is an issue with the Visual Composer plugin on your site.
Flora 1.2.2 comes with Visual Composer 4.9 so make sure you’ve already updated this plugin as well. After you update the theme, if there is an update available for the bundled plugins, you will see a notification message letting you know the plugins have a new version and need to be updated. If the notification message was dismissed, navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins to see the recommended plugins list.
Also, in the future please contact us from the account that purchased this theme to make sure you’re currently in the correct product page that corresponds to what you have purchased.
The theme was purchased by our developer on his account not ours, and yes there is an update to Visual Composer but as we didn’t purchase the theme its not letting me update.
Is there anyway of transferring over a purchase from his account to ours on Envato so that we can update the Visual Composer plugin ourselves?
If you’ve Flora 1.2.2 you can update this plugin by clicking on Begin Installing Plugin link in a notification message since this plugin was included in this theme.

I have Flora 1.2.2 and Visual Composer 4.9 but I am still experiencing these issues. It says there is an update for Visual Composer to 4.9.2 but it doesn’t give me a direct link to install it, it directs me to Code Canyon? All other plugins are up to date.
You don’t need to update the Visual Composer since the latest update that came with the theme is 4.9.
However, if you’ve other plugins on your website, please deactivate these plugins. If it works that means there is a plugin conflict you should re-activate these plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin.

Thanks, I’ve narrowed it down to the Slider Revolution plugin which comes with the theme that is causing the problem. When its turned off the Text Block Visual wysiwyg panel works. So how do I get the Slider plugin working and the Visual Composer?

The featured images will fit within the blog layout automatically, you can’t set the width of the featured image for each post. However, you can display your blog posts in full width section so the featured images will be bigger, see these links below:

This theme comes with 3 different layout of blog posts that you can easily choose in Blog Posts element settings or set the default layout of blog page in Theme Options. However, if you’d like to define your custom styles for masonry layout you can set it by adding a filter in your child theme to override the masonry (we can provide this code).

I’ve purchased the theme and installed it. It worked perfectly until I activated Revolution slider. Once i activated it, i couldn’t upload stuff to my Media ( pictures, anything , it just says failed to upload the file ). Also once i activate the plugin and import dummy data ( without slider – i unchecked that box ) it just wont load the page, that loading animation is always there, and it disappears if i remove slider, but i cant work without slider, it is necessary in order to build the website i need.
I’ve tried downgrading wordpress version, reinstalling everything , its all the same once i enable Revolution Slider.
I really hope you can help me with this one.
