It’s included in the new update of the theme. After you update the theme, navigate to Appearance -> Install Recommended Plugins to install the new update the bundled plugins.

awesome. thank you

No problem.

Hello, I would like to know how to update the WPBakery Page Builder plugin.

Hello, thank you for reaching out!

The latest version of WPBakery Page Builder plugin is included in the new update of the theme. After you update the theme, navigate to Appearance -> Install Recommended Plugins to install the new update the bundled plugins.

Hi

I do not see the “Portfolio options” when creating a portfolio item anymore. I am running the latest version of the theme with Redux 4.4.14 activated and WPBakery 7.4 installed through the theme.

Before the upgrade, the portfolio options were shown below the text field that allowed changing the portfolio item content.

Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

Thank you

There was an issue with the metabox options in the recent version of the theme. We just released a new update a few hours ago. Thank you for reporting this issue.

Hello, how do I change the line heigh of a font, say H4? thank you

I recommend that you add your H4 heading using a Custom Heading element from WPBakery Page Builder so that you can set the line height and other options of it. Otherwise, you may need to add a CSS snippet below to Customize -> Additional CSS to change it:
h4 {
    line-height: 18px !important;
}

Hello, I use Flora theme and I updated wyde-core plugin (from 2.7.5 to 4.0+) and “theme options” menu disappears and my menus appareances are completely reseted. Any idea to resolve this problem ?

You will need to install the Redux Framework plugin to make the Theme Options work.

After you updated the theme and all bundled plugins to the latest version, you will see a notification message with the link to install the Redux Framework plugin. If the notification was dismissed, you can navigate to Appearance -> Install Plugins to install it from the recommended plugins list instead.

I updated our website to the latest plugin version and the “Theme Options” menu disappeared. Also, the logo stopped showing in the top navigation and the footer disappeared. Please advice on what to do

Please ensure you’ve already installed the Redux Framework plugin. In the latest version, you will need to install the Redux Framework plugin to have the Theme Options.

After you updated the theme and all bundled plugins to the latest version, you will see a notification message with the link to install the Redux Framework plugin. If the notification was dismissed, you can navigate to Appearance -> Install Plugins to install it from the recommended plugins list.

Hello, I’m afraid of the update to version 1.7.9. This morning it went wrong, the ‘theme options’ had disappeared and 5 minutes later the whole site was no longer accessible. Our provider then imported a backup after our backups also stopped working. Am I the only one who has a problem with the new version? Thank you Christiane

I’ll try and than tell you.., until then, thank you very much

It worked! Thank you again. But I wonder what would have happened if I had set everything (theme and plugins) to ‘automatic update’.That’s how I normally do it.

You can enable the automatic update for all of them. However, this feature is available for the themes and plugins from the official WordPress.org repository. It won’t work for the theme and plugins from external sources like this theme and its bundled plugins (WPBakery Page Builder and Slider Revolution).

To enable the automatic update for the Flora theme, you will need to install the Envato Market plugin, you will find the instructions here: https://wydethemes.com/flora/documentation/#update

Also, we usually include the latest version of the WPBakery Page Builder and Slider Revolution in the latest update of the theme. After you update the theme, if there is a new update available for those plugins, you will see a notification to update them.

Hi,

I had a problem with the Revolution Slider. When returning to the home page from a subpage, instead of the silver, only a white box was displayed. Therefore I contacted the support of the Rev Slider and I would like to share the answer with you:

ThemePunch Support Message: The issue appears because of the AJAX page transitions applied in your theme settings. Currently I’ve disabled it and all works properly.

We can suggest your to contact the theme author for further investigation

Greetings, Tamara

If you’re using the AJAX Page, it will load the page content via AJAX and JavaScript included in the content won’t be executed so the slider won’t appear. I recommend that you disable the AJAX Page option under Theme Options -> AJAX Page to work around this.

Hi,

I’ve been using your theme for a while now and I’m totally thrilled with it! great work! but I have a small problem. I have configured the footer in the theme settings and it is displayed correctly everywhere, except for 2 pages, where my logo is displayed excessively large.

These are the two subpages: https://housegrafic.de/impressum/ https://housegrafic.de/kontakt/

I would be very grateful for help!

Best regards Tamara

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. I will be happy to solve this issue for you. However, I’m not quite sure which large logo you mentioned. If it is the one in the footer that says “Housegrafic Kreativ Agentur”, it seems to be working fine on my end. It’s the same size as the one on other pages.

yes exactly, it suddenly worked last night after I deactivated the cache plugin. Thanks anyway :)

Thank you for the update.

Hello. I want to change the “Read More” text inside the “flora-icon-right-small” blog. I tried changing it in options.php, but I didn’t get any results. Can you help?

You will need to translate the theme to change that text. The easiest way is to install the Loco Translate plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ ). Find the “Read More” text and change it. You can find the instructions here: https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners

Also, you may use the POEdit to translate the POT file and then upload it to your child theme folder on your host web server, you can see more on Translations in our documentation: https://wydethemes.com/flora/documentation/#translations

Hello, I am encountering issues both on my client’s site and your live theme based on Flora1 layout (https://wydethemes.com/flora1). When you open the page and click logo or “HOME” link from the menu, revolution slider loads up and quickly disappears into a blank slide. Console shows dozens of revslider related errors. I would very much appreciate you looking into this. Thanks, Pavel

Hi, thank you for reaching out! This is an issue with the AJAX Page when there is a slider on the page. It has been fixed in the next update of the theme.

In the meantime, you may need to disable the AJAX Page option under Theme Options -> AJAX Page to work around this issue.

Hello, I installed WPML to translate Flora but can’t see translation options for the portfolio pages, just posts and pages. What do I have to do so I can use WPML to translate my portfolio?

Ok, found it, needs separate activation of the portfolio in the WPML Settings

Great! Of course, that is what you have to do. Thank you for the update.

Hello, possible to make an update containing last WPBakery Page Builder update (7.2) ?

Sure, you can deactivate then delete the WPBakery Page Builder plugin from your Plugins screen. Then navigate to Appearance -> Install Plugins to install the new one. You will then install the new version (7.2).

Hello, it works to update to 7.2 version but now, a 7.2 version have been released, and this procedure does not work for 7.3 update :/ Do you have a solution for this update ?

We’re sorry but it seems like that version 7.3 is not ready for the Envato market yet. The latest version of WPBakery Page Builder that is available for download on CodeCanyon is 7.2, as you can see on the product page: https://codecanyon.net/item/wpbakery-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431

However, we usually include the latest version of the bundled plugins in the new version of the theme after we’ve tested it to make sure it is compatible with the theme. BTW, you can normally use version 7.2 with the theme in the meantime.

Hi!

I’ve built a website with the Flora theme (well done btw!) and I have one question. I worked with wpbakery pagebuilder which you have integrated in the theme. Between the rows containing columns and content I’d like to have different spacing for desktop and mobile. Pagebuilder usually has a sweet option for that built in but you haven’t integrated it in Flora. Is there a way to access the full range of pagebuilder functions or a different way to achieve responsive spacing within the Flora theme?

Thanks, Michael

My purchase code: 12435970-5010-4ed9-8ff9-fa8d861581dc

I’m sorry, the responsive options of the WPBakery Page Builder plugin wasn’t available when this theme was created so we’ve added custom responsive options to the page builder at that time. And we had to disable the built-in options after they have been added to the plugin to avoid conflict. That’s why you couldn’t find the built-in responsive options from the page builder when using this theme.

However, we’re working on this and will enable the plugin’s responsive options in the new version of the theme.

Hello, my client want me to use your WP template Flora but I get “Error establishing a database connection” when trying to check out the demo site.

Hi, thank you for reaching out!

We’re sorry, there was a problem with our database server. It has been fixed and everything is working fine now.

Again, thank you for reporting this issue.

Hi, I have a problem with my website on Crome but not on other browsers.

It doesn’t show any images on the front end.

My hosting company says it’s got to have something to do with the theme (I use “Flora”, and also Wp Bakery on my site).

This is the site: “spicymind.se”.

I have updated both Flora and WP Bakery to the latest versions. Flora 1.7.8 and WP Bakery 7.1. Can you advise me as to what might be the problem?

Regards, Maria

Hi, this isn’t a theme related issue. It is related to your site configuration. There are mixed content errors on your site, then it results in a broken page. However, it will be working fine if you visit your site via HTTP ( http://spicymindinredning.se/ ).

If you’ve installed your WordPress site on http://, then your site will be broken when you visit your site on https://. You will need to change the “WordPress Address” and “Site Address” under Settings -> General to “https://spicymind.se” to fix this issue.

Hello,

I wanted to let you know that the order completion page has a small issue: the thank-you message prints some HTML around the message “Thank you. Your order has been received.” The issue seems to be with an updated woo commerce file templates/checkout/order-received.php which now escapes any HTML in the message. Could you please address this in the next update?

Thank you.

Hi, thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! It will be fixed in the next update.

Hello,

I am having an issue with the page loader animation: I was testing rendering on iPad mini and noticed that the page loader is not going away after the page is loaded, and it masks the website content behind it. I can see the page has loaded because I can scroll and see the content behind the browser bar transparency.

This behaviour does not happen on desktop browsers, even in responsive mode, but it happens on both iPad mini 2 I have. It does not happen on another iPad Pro or iPhones I have.

Do you know if the issue is with the iPad mini 2 (is it too old, doesn’t support the AJAX or something device-specific)? I don’t have a newer version of iPad mini to check.

I also tried to disable preloading images but it made no difference. Is it possible to disable the loader entirely for some devices (like mobile devices)?

Hello, thank you for reaching out!

It sounds like the web browser on your iPad mini is outdated and it doesn’t support modern standard of CSS styles and scripts. The loader animation is working fine on my iPad mini 5, iPad mini 6 and iPad Air 4.

WordPress and the theme only support modern web browsers. I recommend that you always update the browser on your device to the latest version to make sure it is compatible with the new update of WordPress and the theme, you can find the list of supported browsers here: https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/best-practices/browser-support/

However, if you’d like to remove the loader animation on mobile devices, try adding the following CSS snippet into Customize -> Additional CSS to see if it works:

@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
  #preloader {
    display: none !important;
  }
}

“WPBakery Page Builder Du hast Version 6.10.0 installiert. Aktualisiere auf Version 7.0.”

We use Flora Version: 1.7.7 and have no possibilty to update WPBakery- or do we have?

Thank you!

We will add WPBakery Page Builder 7.0 in the next update of Flora theme. We’re working on it and will release the new version soon.

Oh, thank you and good luck!

Dear author of Flora, I have a question regarding Flora. I have a blog with WP Wordpress, it was years that I didn’t write new articles of my blog. Finally yesterday I have published a new one, and flagged on “public-in evidence”. The problem is that I don’t see this article in the blog home, seems that it’s not been updated with the last one. I still see old articles in the home. Could you please help me with this item? Thanks in advance. Valentina Lombardi from Italy. Website https://valentinalombardi.com/

Thank you for reaching out!

First of all, please ensure you’ve updated the theme and all bundled plugins to the latest version. You can find the changelog here: https://themeforest.net/item/flora-responsive-creative-wordpress-theme/12038776#item-description__update-log

Also, you can find the instructions on how to update the theme in our documentation: https://wydethemes.com/flora/documentation/#update

However, it sounds like you’ve filtered the posts to show on the home page. To check it, you will need to edit the Blog Posts element on your home page, then click the “Build query” button in Blog Posts Settings window. If you have filters in the setting fields, try to remove them to see if it works.

Also, if you have a cache plugin installed, you may need to clear the caches after you publish a post.
