In the FAQ page, I would like the menu to be on the left, as in Services page http://themeenergy.com/themes/wordpress/transfers/services/

That is not a feature of our theme. You would have to have a look at how page-service-list.php is implemented then do something similar in page-faq-list.php

1. This theme is all widgets or am i doing something wrong 2. is there a way to turn off the time when i customer chooses a transfer being i only offer it at 8am how would they know that. 3. where to i change the white background ive tried everything. thanks

1. The home page is widgetized. You go to Appearance -> Widgets and add widgets to the Home Content Widget area and then you can control what is shown there. By default the home page shows all default widgets.

Other pages used with the theme use page templates.

2. So you do not need the search widget? Have you thought about simply showing your destination list and showing the transfers through that?

3. Can you specify which white background you are trying to change please?

How come on the live preview of the website i can not see how the bookings are. Ive tried several cities to see past the search and nothing is coming up…thanks

You can also go backwards by navigating to a micro destination page. You will see a table of available transfers from that destination there.

Can i use this theme souly as a charter flight booking theme. Where i enter in the dates and times i fly from certain cities and return. I see the shared booking which looks great and what i need because i offer a flight from naples to orlando and there is 6 seats. so if only 2 people book i still have 4 open which another can book correct? SPEEDY REPLY please i am behind on this project and need to buy a theme asap.. Thanks

yeah i bought this and didnt know this was souly a widget theme. I need more functions so i kinda just threw the money out the window. You should maybe post that in the item description page so others know that as well…kinda upset i waisted 59 for something i will not use you know.

There is much more to the theme than just widgets. Can you please tell me what exactly are you trying to achieve so that I can point you to the right direction?

Hi In your live preview, 1 – if you enter a number of passenger of 10, a private shuttle is shown available whereas its max number passengers is 8 and if you choose this option when you arrive at cart page you can’t see anymore that max number is 8. So you proceed with a vehicle limited to 8 passengers for 10 passengers.

2 – if you enter a number of passenger of 50, it’s worst only private and shared shuttle are shown.

I’ve got the same problem on my own version.

Is the purpose of this software to show a mix of vehicles in order to reach the number of passengers, or is it to the client to pick himself the desired vehicles. Best solution would be to show the simplest solution, one vehicle with a number of passenger capacity equals or greater than the number of passenger requested.

This point, for me, is very critical, I can’t put this software on production if there’s no solution.

Hi, I just bought the theme and I am trying to figure out how to set up transfers.

I have 5 kinds of vehicles that all offer the same trips, all year around, 24/7. From what I understand, I have to set up each car for each trip AND each time slot, is that correct? So for one trip of one vehicle type, I have to create 24 entries, if the trip lasts one hour, is that correct?

1. I only want to offer a price by car not person, so how can I discard the shared option? 2. To avoid creating 24 entries per trip per vehicle, since (theoretically) I can provide unlimited vehicles in each type, can I can add a time slot of 24 hours, so that I have one time interval for each trip by vehicle type?

That should work though you may need to hide the shared option in frontend via your theme style.css

1 – in Cart

you have : “If you have shopped with us before, please enter your details in the boxes below. If you are a new customer, please proceed to the Billing & Shipping section”. There is not translation possible in French as it’s not in the default.po file

2 – Also in Check out / Billing details no translation possible in French for ” POSTCODE/ZIP” as it’s not included in default.po file.

3 – Can you tell us how you manage to write in the demo Billing ” Transfer From… to… by … on ….. at ….” whereas for me I’ve got only ” Transfer Product”

4 – Months in woocommerce remain in English and I’ve found no way to turn in French or to translate.

5 – On phone device some arrays and buttons don’t display well.

1 & 2 are part of woocommerce and not our theme. You will find the woocommerce pot file in \wp-content\plugins\woocommerce\i18n\languages

3. Please go to Admin -> Products and delete Transfers Product. Make sure you empty Trash as well. Now try the booking process again.

4. We will fix this in a near future upgrade.

5. Have you upgraded the theme to the latest version we released recently?

3. You can only create transfer availabilities (prices) for destination to destination for each transport type. The availabilities are seasonal.

4. No special dates functionality at this time.

9. We use WooCommerce for payment processing. Data is stored as WooCommerce orders as well as in our own custom booking table.

1, I have been thinking a lot (danger danger),

Please if you can send me the code? To swap the Private/Shared to Adult/Child in the pricing this would partly fix the Multiple Pricing problem and save me hours of work re listing each one as a separate Availability.

i.e. I currently have private/shared pricing on each availability ($55.00 / $45.00) if I can change it to this Adult/Child ($45.00/$15.00) it would fix 90% of my pricing problems (until you get the multiple pricing update fixed then I can ad the group bookings).

2, In the Booking section you can not add a time for pickup (you do in the auto section)

3, Also I can not send booking confirmation, invoice or receipts manually this makes the system useless to me, specially if I have to continually transfer data to another programme, having a separate booking system is costing me more time and money, I am now spending more time in the office instead of out doing transfers.

My problem is I am not a single person transferring one to one once or twice a day.

We run full Transfers Shuttle Services from 2 different Domestic and International Airports and other Services expanding an area of over 160km in length.

I really like your theme and think its will be great and I want to keep using it, I can not afford much longer the time and money it is costing me though, if I cant fix this soon I will have to look at going back to the old website and system it doesn’t look anywhere as nice and is very plain, but is way less work, automated and if I need to put in bookings manually from phone orders, I can send booking confirmation, invoice or receipts manually.

Sorry as I said I really like the theme, but I am becoming very discouraged and disappointed.

P.S. I marked this ticket as private, as I said I like the theme and wish to fix this, not to bad mouth your work.

I am so disappointed in this theme and support is a joke.

1, was just an idea and something basic in other booking themes and something you have been saying for 5 months was on the todo list.

2-3 is part of the booking system that doesn’t work, the time I have to spend to transfer data to another booking system is beyond a joke.

The only modification I want is for the theme to work, I was blinded by pretty looks, I didn’t realise I would have to spend hours to get a theme that only half works. It is now costing me and my business way to much time to have a system that only half works, money lost a lesson learnt wish I could rate -5 stars

Ok now that I have slept on it and cooled down, I notice your public reply is a little different to you private one.

I really do like the look and feel of this theme and I think one day it will be fantastic.

But after months and hours upon hours loading data, correcting and working on it, to finally come to a stage of it only half working and to be told to read up about woocommence to fix it myself and that the operations of a basic booking system is not available or is on the to do list.

Well to say I am very disillusioned and very disappointed is cutting it very close.

You do have the start of a great theme but I see the problem as this and I don’t mean disrespect by saying this, you are designers, programmers, you develop themes for developers who do the rest of the work (and from what I read just on this forum/comments are just as frustrated), I have only basic knowledge myself, that’s why I purchased the theme from you.

I am not a developer, I am actually a transport company in the Transfer transport industry, the end user of your theme.

I don’t want you to alter the theme just make the dam thing work, instead of tell me what cant be done, fix the problem.

A website is the face of a business and your theme looks great but if the system doesn’t work it reflect badly on the business not the theme designers.

I will take this to the meeting next week with a suggestion that we go back to the old cloud based system as this one is not ready to use.

I understand your frustration, however the Transfers theme works as described. Bugs happen and we do our best to iron them out as soon as possible, some unfortunately do take quite some time.

Additional features that depend on specific businesses need to be custom coded. Customization is not a part of support. We try to keep adding new features and expand theme’s options, but we cannot please everyone.

WordPress also comes with its limitations and features you might be used to might not be easily doable in an open sourced system that covers a broad range of niches.

You can add your own icon classes to the list. You would also need to add respective css to your style.css file.

For example:

.YourIconName {
background-image: url(pathToYourIcon.jpg);
}

“YourIconName” would then needed to be added to the list at Theme options > Services tab.
