Hi,
I just purchased and am working to install the theme, but am getting a lot of errors around deprecated elements in the theme. Most of them seem to involve the conditional of {{if image}} Is there an update that fixes these errors?

Hi there, I was wondering is it possible to pay for customization’s to be done on this theme?
These are the changes made I would love made:
1. Change the navigation menu from the side drawer overlay to be a visible nav bar in the top right on the site 2. Also want to add the blog.description in the site header 3. Also only want the site header to show on all pages that are not the homepage

To enable commenting, you need to change the default Disqus account shortname “my_disqus_shortname” on line 37 in the custom.js file located in the js folder (Ghost/content/themes/Subtle/assets/js).

if you mean the “About Me” section located below the menu in the hidden sidebar, then you should edit it in the sidebar.hbs, line 11. If you have already edited the information and it did not change, try to restart Ghost. Hope this helps.

Is there a way to edit the font used on the theme template and on each individual page?
You need to edit template files for this: assets/css/style.css and probably default.hbs where the current Google fonts (Lato and Playfair Display) are loaded (line 16).

Hi Dan,
Ghost added Facebook and Twitter support in version 0.8.0, so you can add the links to your Facebook and Twitter profiles in the Ghost admin dashboard and they will be automatically displayed in the footer. All other icons need to be added/removed manually. You will find them in the <div class="offsite-links"> tag in footer.hbs, located in the partials folder (Ghost/content/themes/Subtle/partials) of the theme. You can see the list of available icons in the theme documentation, section 10. Social Media Links.

The intro section is displayed on the homepage. You can edit the information displayed in the intro section in the index.hbs file located in the main theme folder (Ghost/content/themes/Subtle). Find this code on the line 14:
<h2 class="hero-title">Hello & Welcome to <br />{{@blog.title}}</h2>
and edit according to your needs.

You should edit the theme using you preferred code editor before uploading it to the server.

How do I – edit the photo and text in the “About Me” that appears in the menu.

To change the “About” widget information, edit the text on line 11 in the sidebar.hbs file located in the partials folder (Ghost/content/themes/Subtle/partials). To change your “about” photo, replace the default about.png file located in the images folder (Ghost/content/themes/Subtle/assets/images) of the theme.

Thank you and can I upload each update file separately or do I need to upload the entire theme as a zip file with the updated files included?
It depends on what server you are using.
If you have access to upload files separately, then you can do it. You will probably need to restart Ghost every time you make changes.
If you are using Ghost Pro (https://ghost.org/pricing/), then edit the theme, zip it and upload it to the server via Ghost(Pro) dashboard.

to show the latest post on the home page you would need to edit theme template files.
Would it be complicated to modify it and pull an image with a title of the latest post?
It’s not complicated but it depends on how you are familiar with Ghost platform and handlebars template language.

as far as I know, you should be able to place Google AdSense scripts to the post.hbs. Only, if you’re hosting your blog on Ghost(Pro), you will need to use a custom domain ( http://support.ghost.org/faq/can-i-have-advertisements-on-my-ghostpro-blog/ ).

Hello, we like the theme and spent many hours trying to find something that did what we wanted and looks good.
The hover on the menu shows as a linethrough. Is that a bug? We can’t find that as a setting in the CSS file. If strikethrough is not a bug, can you explain where to change it? Thank you, Louise

no, the linethrough is not a bug, it is done intentionally. If you want to change it, you need to edit style.css located in the assets/css/ folder on lines 1133 and 1150:

Great theme! Will be much more amazing when we will have a bit different previous/next footer when viewing last post. In the current version we have empty black space where Next Post should be. How about to make that part of theme same as on stock Ghost theme – just one long image with a link to previous post?

What´s happen with the failure installation of your theme?

maybe you mistook this Ghost theme for the WordPress theme? If this is not the case, can you tell me what kind of hosting provider you use? We’ve test it on our dedicated and on ghost.org hosting and haven’t encountered any problems.
