I cannot import the dummy demo… i tried to follow what you say here and step #3 i change to static page i only get bad choices like about, activity, members, wishlist because the demo is not loaded and i did the dummy import 3 times already.. i need step by step more detailed what to do. please. You have an excellent theme but the dummy import is really bad and you give us no 2d choice.
Maybe you can give me the .xml files and explain me how to do it or something i dont know. It feels at the moment incomplete.

Can anyone tell me if you got a home page looking exactly as the home page on the demo? Are slider imports included?

I cannot get the demo layout/format/design installed either. Even following all of the steps. A home page doesn’t even appear in my WP-Admin.

1) You need to install the dummy contents from Dashboard >Whistle > General > Import Dummy Data ( Top right corner). 2) Then update the permalinks from Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks. 3) Change the home page from Dashboard > Settings > Readings. 4) Update the menus locations from Dashboard > Appearance > Menus -> Menu Locations. 5) Add slider to layerslider or revolution slider and add it to the home page using the slider options below the editor section. Note: Make sure you have installed all the recommended plugins before these steps.

Our page builder works with only newly created pages and not with the dummy pages that are created using the “Import Option” .You can use the sample layouts module, which will build the home pages, about us page, etc as our demo in page builder. Please have a look.

Kindly, Follow the below steps to update the theme.
i) Download the theme from themeforest page.
ii) If you have made any custom changes in the code, please take a backup of it.
iii) Overwrite the updated theme files to the older theme files. Update the custom change that you had already.
iv) Go to wp-content/plugins/ through ftp
v) Remove the folder designthemes-core-features/ from wp-content/plugins/
vi) Then Login to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install Plugins. Install the Designthemes Core Features plugin. That’s it. Now you are updated to the latest version.

Hi and thanks for that. I had done that previously but it didn’t import any page layouts that look similar to the one in the demo as that’s pretty much the same layout im requiring. Any ideas?.

I’m not emailing over my site credentials sorry. even following the steps you’ve listed below to obtain the same look as the demo site you advertise doesn’t achieve anything. Can you list each module used on the home page so it can be rebuilt in the same style from new please?

Attached the home page shortcodes in the text file. Just create a new page and paste the contents in the text file in “Text” mode and check it. After adding these shortcodes, just add your slider from the “Slider Options” metabox.
