Hi, on your Prieview (IT Professional) for this Theme you inserted Links to the “companies”. I bought the theme, but I’m not able to make the headline (neither Field 1 nor Field 2) in the Experience Section view like a link. I inserted Code like Link. But it just showed the hole HMTL Text as a headline. Is there any chance or a workaround to activate this feature? Good Work with this Theme. I really enjoy putting in my data in the backend!

In Demo version we installed latest version to update demo content with new updates. As soon as latest version approved you will get notification by email. We have added possibility to add link under Field1 and Education place for Education section and more. For full update list please see change log in the end of the description page.

When i upload images they dont show up as the full image, but only part of it shows up. I have tried using the resize function, but the image doesn’t change no matter if i use a 2000×2000 or 400×400 image. How do i make the images appear good in the portfolio?

Hi, thanks for buying out theme, we suggest you to crop your images for the square size for now, portfolio works with plugin and we are going to made some changes in it in upcoming updates. Image size for big square is 610×580 px Image size for small square is 297×282 px We will notify you as soon as we will have other solution. i think my explanation came off wrong.. The thumbnail i can live with. However when you click the “eye” to see more, the images are cropped off as well. Which image size do i use here to get a good showcase?
Also is it possible to make the portfolio thumbnail pop up the gallery when clicking the thumbnail rather than having to click the “eye”??

How can I have 2 logos? 1 for the homepage when it loads, and 1 for the sticky menu?

Thanks for buying our theme. Please read this article, there are a lot of techniques how to optimize site. Any way on our demo page we use W3 Total Cache Plugin for WordPress. One of the most effective thing is image optimization, also follow the recommendations by google page speed test tool. Feel free to contact us in case of any question.

Hi, thanks for question, we are working on updated version, captcha will be added during next week. If you made changes in code and customized the theme, then updating of the theme will remove all your modifications. If you added just content then you can just remove the theme and add updated version. Let us know if you have any other question. Thanks

I’ve just checked the latest version and it was installed just fine – took about 5 seconds, maybe you have some server/local configurations which makes installing longer than should.

I have run into another issue now – I have the theme installed, however I am now trying to install the demo content, and based on instructions ‘Once installation is complete, your RS-Card theme will be ready to use. You should now see “Rs-Card Options” appear in the WordPress admin panel.’

I see now that I had to install some plug ins to enable the theme and now RS-Card Options has appeared in my top tool bar. I think this should be ok now!! Thank you
Yes, it seems you didn’t install required plugins – open “appearance->install plugins” in wordpress admin, there you can see all the required plugins.

Ahh awesome! i got it, thanks! Another question – I’m trying to make my menu items link to a specific section on the page, but can’t seem to figure it out. I’ve been reading the documentation but it is very light when it comes to this part and I can’t seem to figure it out.
Every section has menu id field, you need to write something in that field, copy it and go to menu from options panel. Open that section in menu and paste after url with hashtag as in this example. Please feel free to write us in case of any question. You can use this form to contact us as well.
Hey, great theme, I bought the original template before you launched the theme.
In the version I just downloaded you’ve managed to put a css file on the same level as the theme folder in the zip-file, which makes the install fail. I saw another comment about failing to install, this is prolly the reason.
To be clear:
rs-card.zip - style.css - rs-card —the rest of the theme

I’ve just set up my portfolio and I’ve found a little bug after pressing the “more” button on the portfolio section on the homepage. I’ve loaded 3 items by default. If I press the “more” button, it loads 3 more but if I hover any of the new 3 items and press the “view” button, it’s showing the popup for the previous 3 items. I mean if I press the view button for the 5th item it shows the info for the 2nd item.

When i went to install the theme it failed due to it missing a index.php file. Any clue why it would do this?

The screen I get to does not have an ‘Import Button’ it has Import From File/URL but there isnt a browse button available?

Hello, Thanks for interest in our theme. For importing demo content please check the documentation in your zip file.
From the left settings panel you need to click on Tools -> Import -> WordPress (WordPress Importer, install the plugin if it is not installed) -> “Browse” your file and click “Upload file and import” -> create new user or assign posts to an existing user -> mark checkbox “Download and import file attachments” -> click on “Submit” That’s it, good luck! ACF Pro is fully integarted in the scope of theme, for example you can create many variations of homepage/CV , flexible fields groups already created and attached to the existing page templates.
And yes you can create new fields group and assign them to the pages you want, but of course then you’ll need to use them somehow in the code, cause it become completely new thing – out of the scope of this template/design, ACF fields can be create in almost unlimited variations and it can’t work just by magic .

Also you can try to find answers to your questions in other users comments, it is possible that someone had same question. Any way we are not providing support in case of custom modifications in code. We are providing support within Theme current features and options. As well we will be very thankful for any suggestion, comment or bug report.
The ACF of your video is empty. Can you confirm ahat the theme will be deliver with the group fields set (json import) witch hare displaying in CPT
We kept already created custom fields hidden, cause this is a core of this theme and users (not developers) shouldn’t be able to easily remove them from admin, for developers if they want to work and edit core fields (of course and their risk) we can suggest this plugin https://github.com/seamusleahy/ACF-PHP-Recovery, there is php code in our theme, which set core fields group and this plugin restore fields in ACF admin page from that code. We tried it already few times, seems working perfectly.
