We recommend you to install and activate WooCommerce plugin, and then you can import our demo content. That way you will also get shop demo pages and products imported, so you can see how it’s all made, and easily modify it for your needs.
If you don’t want to import demo content on your live site, install WordPress locally on your PC, and then install our theme and WooCommerce plugin, and import demo content, to have a preview at backend of all pages.

There’s no direct option for this. You would need to manually change theme templates, to change h2 tags into h1.

Haven’t had anyone respond to my tickets, so I have a couple things I’m interested in knowing -

When you say “default Gravator photo” from authors account – is this an external plugin? I ask because I have an author image plugin but the theme doesn’t recognize that plugin.

There’s no direct option for that. When you add links in your pages/posts content, via Text Block element or text editor, you can specify that attribute your self.
But for the links from some shortcodes or similar, you would need to look for some plugin that can handle it.

Hi, I am creating posts and I would like to understand how titles are generated, because it seems to me weird: 1/ The text in the “edgtf-post-title-area” / “edgtf-post-excerpt” is the same than the first 2 sentences of my first paragraphe. It is a repetion and not so user-friendly. Would it be possible to customise this text pls ? 2/ The title of the “edge-post-title-area” (the very first thing that the vistor sees on this page) is setup as h2 by default. According to SEO recommendations, a h1 must be added to each page and post. Could you please let me know how I could change h2 to h1 in the automatically generated “edgtf-post-title” ? For the time being, my solution is that I add a h1 before my paragraphe. I am not happy with this solution because the title is duplicated. Thank you for your help, Oroz

1.For each post, you can write post excerpt , in excerpt field under post content http://screencast.com/t/7rZSvSiC
So you should not write the same text there as first two sentences of post content. If you don’t see this field, click on Screen Options in top-right corner, and check excerpt.
2. This is default behavior. To change it, please submit a ticket to https://edge.ticksy.com , and our support team will provide guides on how to change this.

Just purchased – got a few questions:
1) When I use the boxed theme it doesn’t scroll at all. When I turn it off it scrolls but adds a whole extra scroll bar (like it’s creating an iframe).
2) How can I change the “BREAKING NEWS” text? My titles are getting cut off.
3) Do you have information documented on all of the extra plugins you installed for this? And, do you have documented how to exactly put together these themes you showcased? I don’t want everything to be the same, but it would be nice to be able to know how to get my personal theme to be able to look like the parts of the theme I thought I bought… that I want…you know?
I think the theme will turn out nicely once I can figure out everything.

Two other things -
4) I’ve noticed that my header colors (color behind the menu-itemand such change when I select “Responsiveness -Enabling this option will make all pages responsive” and turn it on. When that is on I can’t seem to control any of the Edge options.
5) For some reason the last “menu” item always drops down to the line below the top line. I’ve tried a couple of my pre-made menu lists and they both do it.

Just as an update – the box theme not scrolling (1) and the menu (5) were errors due to plugins that I already had installed (a light box and a polling one). Once I removed those it worked fine. The menu colors have since been fixed as well.

?Hi, I tried to create a post in gallery format but unfortunately it is impossible to upload images under Edge Gallery Post Format => javascript:void(0).
Tried with Chrome and IE.
I also published one of your demo template in gallery format “A New Era of Solar Energy” on my site. The slider is there but without images. “Images” cannot be removed, nor upload from this post of you.
Please note that it is possible to upload logo image to the same post.

When you update the theme -you won’t loose any content, or any setting from your WP admin, everything remains the same. Only thing that will be lost are the changes you have made directly in theme files without using child theme mechanism to save them, so if you changed some theme file, that change will be lost?

Hi, I have just replaced the maganzinevibe folder (not the magazinvibe child) on my site by the new one via ftp and it still does not work for me. I tried to add images - to one of my existing post - to a new post - to your demo “A New Era of Solar Energy” post in Edge Gallery Post Format, but I have the same bug. The button “upload” is activated but does not allow acces to the image biblio, it does not do anything. I tested under chrome and also under IE. Could you please let me know if it is OK at your side and what should I do? How can I verify if I managed to upadet my theme ? What kind of other changes did you do?

But for the posts you intend to use inside Expanding Video Post element from Visual Comoser, it’s recommended to use posts with self-hosted video only!

For example on the normal blog page if the video post is on there…can a user both click on the image to play and click inside the actual post itself?

When you use Expanding Video element – the video opens on click on featured image, and there’s no link to inner post content. When you use it in blog list regularly, the featured image is shown, and it leads to single post page where the video will be shown.
hmm shame as sometimes i would want text below the video content and thought you would of allowed a link to the actual post. And just allowing the thumbnail to be played like some other themes. Ah what a shame was just about to purchase.

Is there a way to have the blog automatically use the first image in the post as a featured image? I have a lot of post that do not have featured images, but they do have images within the post.
Also I get the following message at the top of my dashboard: Your theme (MagazineVibe Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.

Hello I`ve been working with your theme and I have some doubts I hope you can answer me… I also still have problems because I see some code in the home page below the photos in some places…. it seems like the theme couldn’t read the code well to show the resume properly.
1 – How do I change the colour of the text links? I mean if I use the world “trip” and I want when someone click on that world to go to an specific website. How do I highlight the wanted world? in this case “trip”
2- The post on my site that was designed with the visual layout designer, shows the code once it’s online. How can I avoid this? Please see the attached image “the code”
3- I just instaled the theme few days ago and I would like to know if there is any possibility to charge and show the number of times that a post was seen in the past too. Since I have a post shared 238 times but it sais it was seen 8 times (please see attachement “views”) it only shows the number of times it was seen since I change to the new theme.
4- I have 4 “categories” on the main menu on the home (www.laratonaviajera.com) but if you have a look on the mobile version you can only see 3 of them, the one called “viajar barato” is missing. Why? I check and is same as the other.
