We haven’t officially released theme update to confirm compatibility, but there should not be any problems with the latest WordPress version.

You can combine elements like you want, and put them all on the same page, yes. If you want to make one page website, you would need to insert some HTML elements with the ID in several sections of your site, that your menu links will target.

No, no, you can combine it all easily I just said if you want to create some sort of anchoring menu items – you would need to add html. If not – no need for it.

When it comes to multi-language site, you would need to use some plugin for it, like WPML.

cool, thanks, does the theme come with a tutorial “how to build the web page / fill the page” or something like this? It sometimes kind of hard to figure out how everything has to be assigned within the CMS. Is there probably also some content examples which I could use, like your demo examples, or does the theme come completely empty? Thanks

Hello there, I just found out that I cant use the WMPL Multilingual Plug-In for the Portfolio section, is that true? What can I do? Its working more or less for the rest of the page.

Our Minimum theme is not compatible with WPML, but you can use it of course, just with disabling Ajax Page Transitions. And It is possible to translate portfolio items as well. You need to duplicate your portfolio items, make second language portfolio items, categories and so on, just like when translating post/pages. WPML supports custom post types translation.

As for your tickets, an agent has been assigned to them, you should hear back from them soon on ticksy.

Hi, ok. Where do disable Ajax Page Transitions? Within the WP Qode Panel? “No Page Transition”?

I duplicated my Portfolio page, so I am able to switch from english to german, no problem here because its a page, it seems to be different with portfolio page/category within the CMS. Within my CMS, when I go to a existing portfolio item in edit mode, on the right sight of the CMS there should appear the WMPL options like translate to english, duplicate to english and so on, but it doesnt appear.

When I go to other to pages or blog posts, go to edit them, I always see the WMPL options on the right side, and WMPL makes it easy to translate/duplicate a page with just one click and assigns it automatically. So am I doing something wrong?

then you will have the same duplicate functionality like for the posts and pages

ok thanks, that worked out, also the wmpl plug in performs better and doesnt make anymore mistakes like not switching languages properly but why do I have to get rid off that ajax function? I understand that its interfering but is there no other way? I really like those transitions! Is there no way to keep the page transitions and a working wmpl plug-in?

one more question: the link names of my blog posts dont have the right name, I assuming its a setting from your site. I renamed the blog page to NEWS, so it looks like this: http://localhost/wordpress/news/ when I click a blog post, it has this link name: http://localhost/wordpress/blogpost1 and not this link name I prefer: http://localhost/wordpress/news/blogpost1

Is there a reason you did it like this? Can I change that somewhere in the settings?

You’re welcome, glad to hear that. Our Minimum theme is not initially compatible with WPML, and ajax disabling is necessary for header to be reloaded, because when it’s enabled, the content is being reloaded but header not, and you will need header reloaded as well when you use multi-language site.

Unfortunately, this is default structure, and it can not be changed out of the box, it requires some url rewrite in htaccess file.

We have answered to this yesterday, this is a default WordPress structure and there’s no direct option to change it to the way you want it to look like.

You can apply it in Settings -> Permalinks, to use custom structure http://screencast.com/t/ckmLiDP5 but that will affect custom post types as well, like portfolio, so we don’t recommend doing it! portfolio links would look ugly then.

You can look online for some of the workarounds how this could be achieved (some coding is required)

I just would like to have my Blog Page/ News Page like this: http://localhost/wordpress/news/blogpost1 and not like this: http://localhost/wordpress/blogpost1 All the other sites look normal: http://localhost/wordpress/home http://localhost/wordpress/aboutus http://localhost/wordpress/contact So the Blog Page/ News Page should also look normal: http://localhost/wordpress/news/blogpost1 Click on Blog/News Post: http://localhost/wordpress/news/blogpost1

Yes, we understood, but like told – that’s not an easy and out of the box option.

The change we mentioned in last answer will not affect pages, pages will remain as sitename.com/contact or sitename.com/about-us

It will get you the posts the way you want sitename.com/blog/postname, but it will also affect other posts types, such as portfolio, so portfolio links will be like sitename.com/blog/portfolio-item/name

and that’a a bit ugly. There’s no simple solution just to change it for your posts urls.

It’s not how we programmed it – it’s the default WordPress permalinks structure. The post’s url if by default sitename.com/postname

The default change in Settings -> Permalinks are available, but will affect all post types, like we mentioned.

For portfolio Style 5, it’s a big images style, the video/images you upload should take full container width, just like on your screenshot. If they are not, please submit a ticket to https://qode.ticksy.com , with a link to your site , so that our support team can check this.

I have another Problem with the Rev Slider.

The Text which says “Interactive etc” which flys in from the side I am talking about + the action box and link. Which Typeface is this btw? I mean within my CMS under Rev Slider I can create such a slider, right? The question is how did you combine all those slides within the givin link above? Most of them are just background pics with text and links. I assume its done within the CMS, Page Section and Slide assignments, right? Yes, we understand. For this third slide yo’re insterested in, you need to create several ‘layers’ for this slide, and for each layer/text, you can set some transition animation/delay and there are several other options, like set them to wait for layer before to finish entering transition until next layer starts.

But I just want to use this one example like you did. For me it seems to be that you used the slider shortcodes like: [slider type=”big1” id=”1”] and then integrated this animated Text Slide. So you mixed up just simple Background Photos with Text Blocks and also this animated Slide. Do you know what I mean? How does that work?
