Since several years now the contact form Minimum supplies on the contact page has stopped working. I use SMTP Gmail and within Woocommerce, like orders and other mails go out fine as do messages sent via the “WooCommerce Product Enquiry Form”.
Not only did the contact form stop working in an existing site. I just tested in a new fresh WordPress site that the contact form from Minimum simply doesn’t work when WpForms Lite does in its place. If you want to fix this, let us know.

I have simply worked around the issue. I’ve reported the bug you should be able to recreate. Do what you want.
Just to be clear, ALL I’ve done is activated the form and the Google map. That’s it. It worked for years and then it didn’t. Probably around Minimum 4.2.

We haven’t tested our theme with WP 5.8.X and PHP8 yet.
In case that you are running latest WordPress version you can try using this plugin as a temporary solution if you run into issues with widgets on the latest WordPress version.
WP 5.8 introduced block based widgets feature, so we do recommend using this plugin which reverts widgets back to classic as a temporary solution until we add compatibility with block based widgets.

Hello, i updated to the newest Version and realized that i cant add portfolio images to new Portfolio entries anymore. In existing portfolio pages i still see the added pictures and i am also to add new ones. But it does not work for new portfolio pages.
To explain what is displayed: If i edit a portfolio page, there is the area “Qode Portfolio”. Inside of this i click on “Portfolio images/videos” to expand it. It unfolds and there is only a link called “Add portfolio option” but no link called “Add portfolio image/video”.
For testing i also installed a complete new Wordpress setup with a new installation of the theme, but same result.
Am i doing something wrong?

The latest theme Minimum v4.2 has a bug under PHP 7.3 in the Woocommerce cart page in that you get an error message boiling down to replacing `WC()>cart>tax_display_cart` on line 67 of cart-totals.php with `WC()>cart>get_tax_price_display_mode()`.
I tested both with another theme (not present) and my child theme (present) as well as pure 4.2 (present) and changing this as described removed the error.

Hello, I have a question. I justed installed the latest update of the theme and I received the following message from WOO commerce.
Your theme (Minimum) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this: Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.
How can I fix this?

Since updating to the latest version of the theme, I noticed that there is now a hover reveal effect on the small slider and portfolio list items. We do not have a need for this functionality and would like to disable it—can you please let us know how to do so?

The responsive design is broken on this theme since the last update. I checked your demo site to be sure and the same issue is happening: open your demo site on a smartphone in portrait mode and once it’s loaded, swipe your finger from right to left on the screen, you’ll see what happens. And once you get back to the main area, you’ll notice that there are other problems.
With Google “mobile first index”, my website lost its rankings overnight and after hours of investigation and a conversation with a tech from Google, we found that it was due to your last update.
When can you fix that? Because of this issue, we’re losing money every day.

hey qode, i just updated wordpress (5.1.1–de_DE) and did a fresh reinstall of minimum with upload zip files for child and main theme via wordpress in browser dialog. but neiter the content shows nor the qode options for the theme appear on the shelf. Any idea??? Best, j.

Very very happy to see you updated this theme! However the update 4.01. does not work for me. Replaced theme files as per instructions. Then noticed some changes in current child theme and made those in my child theme, but no result. Menu appears, but no page content. Styling is also broken. So had to go back to old version 3.6.1 Would be so great to find out how to update with child theme, maybe update instructions as well? Thanks a lot for this theme!

- then install/activate our new Minimum Core plugin – and after you could update other of our plugins And also go to Qode Options and just hit “Save” button to generate new static scripts for dynamic Qode options. Dear Qode, thank you so much for your helpful reply. I followed your instructions and now it works, thanks a lot. Site works much better now on (very small) mobile devices, great!
Below are some things I encountered:
1-To install/activate new Minimum Core plugin: this is not possible when child theme is active, I had to switch to parent them for this option to become visible, therefor I had overlooked this in first attempt.
2-Qode settings not all preserved on update: Meta description was gone (field emptied)
3—Google font “italic” and “bold” is not anymore embedded, instead, it uses “faux italic/bold” (less pretty). Would be great if this can be fixed. How can I do this?
4-Nothing to do with this update (was already the case): Qode font settings/ link style (underline) is often resetted to default (empty), have to manually redo

About point 3: The screenshot you send to me seems to be from a previous version of the theme. It does not look like the version I currently have installed (4.0.1), but more like version 3.6.1. Please compare the file “function.php” in theme minimum 3.6.1 and in 4.0.1. Dear Qode, The link you send me goes beyond my noob knowledge and I cannot fully understand what the article implicates. However your suggestion to use “font-style: Italic” is not really as pretty as a real italic font. But I can live with that. What is not cool is that font weights seem to be not working anymore how they should:for example in Chrome, bold (or font weight 700) does not display bold, but blurry. This breaks page design/readability very much. (By the way, the above is observed with update 4.0.2 installed). Greetings and thanks, Maarten

We are updating all our themes regularly, and I don’t think that any issue related to slider inside widget area can be related to theme, since foot columns size and floats will be different on smaller screens and it could be that your slider won’t fit available container size on your screens, but we can take look into this so please share a link to your site here and tell us what is the issue.

It doesn’t seem like your theme is collecting the Google Font “Open Sans” as it should on tveranger.com. The font only shows on computers that have this font installed. Should it not be showing on all computer as it’s a Google-font that you make available in your theme-options?

I’ve checked the theme options. Open Sans is set both under Global Options and Global font options (all of them), and the only css that is written in regards of font is font-size, -weight and -style.

Rev slider 5.3.1.5 is included in latest update, so to install that version, after theme update you need to uninstall plugin first, and then to install it again from the message box that will appear. In this way latest included plugin version will be installed.
