My theme is 1.5.0 how can i upgrade it? I already tried to download the theme from the start but there is problem with the css.style sheets
Hey Davidkavrakov,
Wow that is an old version
Check the documentation that comes with the theme for all the update steps. And if you see a missing style.css error it means you are trying to install the wrong file. When you download a theme from Themeforest you need to extract the contents and inside you’ll find the real theme file (valenti.zip), that’s what you install.

Thank you i didn’t do the exact thing but its all right, everything is working
Thank you!
That’s great to hear, you’re welcome
Hi,
I’m getting this error very often: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_plugins() in …/wp-content/themes/valenti/library/extensions/github.php on line 222
Can you help me please?
Hey Rosquill,
That was a bug in Envato’s theme update plugin, but in the latest update, the file was updated with Envato’s patched file, so if you update to the latest Valenti, it will not appear anymore. Hope this helps.

Hi: Is Valenti compatible with PHP 7?
Hey Eduarperu,
I know of a few users using it on PHP7 with no issues, so upgrade to it as it should work fine

How to control font size of title in multi widget? Let me know that what I should add css code. Thanks~
Hey Letgo04,
I’m really sorry but it seems that your Support period has expired. According to Envato’s (Themeforest) changes on 1st of September 2015, you need a valid support package to get support. You can read more about it here:
http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy http://marketblog.envato.com/releases/item-support-policy-and-functionality-launched/So please go to your Themeforest account to extend support and I’ll be able to help. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but all authors have to follow these guidelines to be fair to the customers who’ve purchased extended support. Thanks for understanding.

Gracias nuevamente!
ah para ese es:
nosidebar-narrow

Hello Cubell,
I got a Gravatar account but my profile pic doesn’t appear on my wordpress dashboard and on comment on my post, how can i fix this problem ? of course my gravatar account and wordpress blog are linked,
Thanks
Hi Facedumonde,
Thanks for choosing Valenti. If you change to default theme (TwentySixteen) does it appear differently? Because Valenti doesn’t control or manipulate the images at all. It is 100% WordPress.

Hi, I just updated to the newest version. But, now my grid doesn’t show the featured images. My widgets are also out of place.

BEN BU ÜRÜNÜ ALACAM AMA TÜRKÇE DESTEKL?YORMU B?LM?YORUM
NASIL ÖGRENE B?L?R?M
Hi Ugurnecla,
Sorry but I don’t speak Turkish! I used Google Translate to tranlsate your question and here is my answer:
Turkish: tema zaten yap?lan Türkçe çeviri dosyalar? ile gelir, böylece sitenizi kurmak ve ayarlamak zaman “Türk” dil olmas? (Ayarlar -> Genel), senin önyüz sitesi Türkçe olarak tercüme edilecektir daha.
English: The theme comes with Turkish translation files already done, so when you install your site and set it to be in “Turkish” language (Settings -> General), then your frontend site will be translated in Turkish.
I hope this helps.
Cubell
I think I will be able to broadcast in languages ??türkce purchased this theme , and how potential problems will help me in English and I do not know I’m using google translate
Hey again,
Yeah, for example. this site is in Hebrew: http://www.snatcher.co.il/
So as you can see, all the words are in Hebrew, even the theme words, such as “Search”, “login” etc. If you install the theme on a Turkish site, all those words will automatically be in Turkish because the theme comes with Turkish translation files already done

Hi, I’m very happy with your template. But I have a problem. The search never shows tag searches. How I could change it? I would like to include tag in the searcher.
Thanks
Hi E_media,
Thanks for choosing Valenti
That wouldn’t really work though, as WordPress search doesn’t look for taxonomies like categories or tags though, it looks for posts, as if it looked for tags, how would they appear in the search results amongst posts with thumbnails/by lines/featured images/etc?
Cubell
Hi Cubell, but for example you can see all the post of a tag. I would like to show the post which are tagged by a certain tag. Is is possible?
Thanks
I only want to show the post which have the same tag. Is it possible?
Ah I see, but the search results in themes aren’t controlled or created by the themes, it’s all 100% done by WordPress, and I’m afraid that isn’t how WordPress search works, it works by doing a literal search for the keyword in content/titles inside posts.
Hello Cubell,
Although I have all the recent updates installed, the title of the ‘popular posts’ widget does not seem to work for me… It does not show. The ‘latest posts’ works fine though. I also have a gif image above. Maybe this is the problem ? Here are my settings: http://i.imgur.com/RUYzxf2.jpg . Thanks in advance.
Hey Korbakis,
That was a bug in an old version, and I know you said you have the latest update, but did you update the cubell theme plugin too?
Cubell
Yes, if you mean the ‘Cubell Themes – Functionality’ plugin (version 5.0), it is actually up to date.
Could you please share the site url + admin details in a private email by contacting me via my profile page? I’ll take a look at it.
Hi, I liked your theme a lot, some pre-sales question:
1. Can I not use the rating system and hide it? 2. Can I use “Blog Style A” as my home page? 3. Can I use the “VALENTI REVIEWS WIDGET” to show posts sorted by page view count?
I know what I want is though but it’s exactly what I was looking for…
Thank you in advance.
Hey Rochaa,
Thanks very much for the kind words and interest in Valenti
1- The review system is 100% optional. If you don’t add a review to any posts, then your site will not show any review data anywhere.
2- Yes definitely
This is an example of a homepage using blog style A: http://valenti.cubellthemes.com/home-blog-style/ the grid at the top is optional (and you can put a slider there instead too).
3- No, the Valenti Review widget doesn’t have a view count option. It has options to sort by “top scores/lowest scores/newest reviews”.
There is a Valenti Popular posts widget that can show the most popular post by view count and by date (7 days/30 days/all time).
I hope this helps

Hey hey! I’m back again. Is it possible to change the footer color? If so where would I change it? I assume it would require some custom css.
Hey Liyte,
Yeah it depends on what skin you are using, if using the dark one, you’d use this custom CSS code:
.cb-footer-dark .cb-footer-lower { background: #0c0c0b; }
.cb-footer-dark #cb-footer { background-color: #10100f; }
The first one affects the logo/copyright block, and the second line affects the background of the widget area.
Hope this helps.
Cubell
Would I place this right i the global custom css panel in the theme options?
Yeah, that’s right, and change the color values to your desired color too
Hmm I gave that a shot, but I didn’t see any change.
Oops! My bad, I gave you CSS code for 15Zine theme! For Valenti it’s actually this:
#cb-footer .cb-footer-lower { background: #1c1d1e;}
#cb-footer { border-top: 20px solid #333333;}
That second line is that thick border above the footer
Hope this helps.
Cubell
Hello, how about background bug?
Since upgrading, whenever I added a new post, I noticed the background would show on the home page, but not on the individual posts.
This is in new version v5.2.2
Thank you!
Hey Sector1,
Ah yes, that is a little niggle that has been fixed already and will be included in the next update. If you need a fix fast, share your admin details via the contact form in my profile and I’ll login and patch your files up.
Cubell
Hello Cubell,
i have no theme and file editor allowed in WP administration. Im permanently block this features for security reason. But you can send my step by step or fixed files by e-mail.
Hey again,
Ah no problem, contact me via the profile and i’ll share the steps

I am looking for a theme that will be compatible with the Beaver Builder plugin. I see you have your own page builder. Can it be ignored or deactivated? Do you know of any conflicts with Beaver B? Thanks Young
Hey Young,
Thanks for checking Valenti out
The theme’s build is actually a homepage builder, so it’s what you’d use to create a custom modular homepage like in the home demo examples show. In terms of a page builder for posts/pages, the theme is written following best WordPress coding standards so any plugin written properly should work fine.
I have never used Beaver Builder before, so I can’t say 100%, but if it works on TwentySixteen (Default theme), it should work fine. And I know of a few users who use Visual Composer in Valenti and it works with no problems, in case that helps in any way.
Thanks again,
Cubell
Hey Nice1987,
Thanks very much for the interest in Valenti
Yeah, you can with custom CSS, if you want all the full-width featured images to be a certain height on desktops, you’d enter this code into your theme options -> custom code -> Custom css box:
@media only screen and (min-width: 1200px) {
#cb-full-width-featured-img { height: 600px; }
}
And change the 600px value to whatever height you want. If you only want to do that for one post, you could target it like this:
@media only screen and (min-width: 1200px) {
.postid-123 #cb-full-width-featured-img { height: 600px; }
}
And simply replace the 123 with the post id of your post.
Hope this helps

Hi friend
Another question for you. What would I have to do to place the related post section where the next/previous post section is on a post page? I essentially don’t want the next/previous, but want the related above the author window.
Hey again,
For that one, you’d need to edit single.php and you will see the lines that have the words “related” and “previous_next”, simply flip them around for that
Cubell
This might be a question for someone else, but I’d appreciate it if you could help quickly
... how exactly would I access the single.php to edit this? Thank you SO much for all of your help.
Hey Liyte,
That’s an easy one, simply go to Appearance -> Editor and you should see the theme’s single.php file and able to edit it there
Cubell
As always I LOVE your work… I’m currently working on a blog, and I’m trying to change the size of the global body font size… no matter what I change it to it always stays the same… and it’s small
What are my next steps?
Hey Liyte,
And I love that you love it
How are you trying to change that? Because in Theme Options -> Typography, there’s an option to change the font sizes there
Cubell
I’m directly changing the sizing in the typography setting, but it’s not changing the sizing at all.
Hm, in that case, share your URL and point out the text that isn’t changing to take a look.
I had a look and did you enter body font size in the custom css box? If so, they say “18”, but it should be “18px”.
Hola Cubell, otra pregunta
Saludos
