1) Sure, in Joomla you have both frontend and backend. You can edit content in both sides, but “backend” administrator is much more versatile then frontend for editing.
2) As for uploading content, there are several ways to do it in Joomla. First, “Quickstart” package has all the demo (sample) data with images and videos as seen on our demo. Second way is using Page Builder (part of Flex) to copy/paste pages or parts into your website with ease. Third is using, for example, 3rd party extension called J2XML, an export/import extension for content in Joomla. By platform, do you mean content management system? Flex is Joomla (CMS) template, that is using Bootstrap framework at it’s core.

Yes, you can change font size and background color for Megamenu (main menu) in template’s admin. You can also choose specific font, font weight and style. The beauty of it is that you can also put specific “CSS Class” in Header (where the megamenu is), for example “white” or “major_color” where the sublinks (submenu) will change color to semi-transparent “white” or “major_color”. You can see examples at this links: “white” and “major_color”.

Yes, you can achieve capital letter by simple typing them into “Menu Title” or “Helix Page Title”, in Joomla’s Menu Manager. No restrictions there.

1) LESS compiler is working well. 2) One page is not included, although it can be done. Maybe in next releases. 3) Flex has a good documentation. All support for now is via support email, and is working perfectly. Nobody is complaining, but rather thankful and satisfied. We have great plans for future updates, addons, demos and also forum as it is growing.

I believe that you can use one regular license for one domain, according to Envato.
I wouldn’t hesitate, I would recommend Flex! Not only that Flex has layout builder, where you can build module positions as you like and how many you like, but also has a Page Builder, the best “composer” for Joomla, with 48 addons, carefully improved and adapted. So, with those two mentioned, you can build almost anything you like for the website. As a web designer, what else would you need? You can release your imagination and build beautiful website(s).
Also, we carefully updating Flex with latest versions of Joomla, Virtuemart, SP Page Builder. Long waited Joomla 3.5 is coming in a few days time.

You can add extension like Joom Donation for raising support for children. We are using OS Solution (Joomdonation) extension for our aplikko.com website. They have modules with components (part of extensions package) which you can use with Page Builder to insert into page(s). If you have another one on your mind, I am sure that you can use them, specially if they have module with component.

Yes, it can be deactivated. In Menu Manager, if you don’t publish Virtuemart link, it won’t show. Very simple.

Only way for now to play self hosted videos is via AP Smart LayerSlider (part of Flex package) or Page Builder’s background video, example here.
It would be good idea to have it in some of the next releases, though.

Hi, triing to change the main color of preset, but even by changing it in template config doesn’t work.
The reason why is not changing colors is because “Compile LESS to CSS” is set to “No”, in your template’s admin > “Advanced” tab. Please, enable LESS compiler (“Advanced” tab) and then refresh (front) page(s). If there is a “0” (404) page showing first time, refresh it again and it will work. It is taking some time for LESS to compile.
In 1.2 version we disabled it (LESS compiler), in order to render pages faster. You can see in your template’s folder > css > presets, that there are 6 presets (.css) and they need to be compiled with LESS compiler enabled in admin. As you can see, page loading is much faster when LESS compiler is disabled, but compiler is needed for “development”, or editing, when you make changes with the colors.
When you finish editing and prepare your site to release it (put it online, let’s say), it is better (faster) to disable LESS compiler. Then your site will load rendered (compiled) css files, very fast.

Some elements on the screenshot are custom colors in particular Page Builder columns or rows. Because of “darker” background for these elements, we putted custom colors in Page Builder: for Titles and icons seen on screenshot. Flex logo is just an image, so it is not a part of this story.
So, these custom colors are looking better for darker background on demo, that’s all. If you empty this colors in Page Builder’s particular addon(s), then it will switch to “major_color”. This is great thing though, that you can have comlete control over colors, using both template’s colors and custom Addon’s colors.

Depends on the way of installation. If you want to install Quickstart (same as demo on our site), then you need to do fresh installation. If you want to install into existing Joomla website, then use “Template only” (flex_template_only_j3.zip).
Note: If you’re installing Quickstart on live site (not local server, localhost), check “permissions” to 755 when uploading, if there is a problem with install. this is good to mention.

There is no reason why you shouldn’t use 3rd party extensions like Docman on Flex. We didn’t test Docman, but it should work. As for implementing into Page Builder, you will have to use “Module” addon to put it into page, if Docman has module as a part of extension.
I have tested OS Membership Pro and Document Seller and it worked fine.

When you purchase Flex package, you just unzip it and you’ll have 5 folders inside the package:
- Quickstart: Use this package if you want to install demo website as seen on Flex’ demo (http://flex.aplikko.com). Due to free resources for images Quickstart includes all the images and videos, exactly as seen on demo website. This is native Joomla website installation. It usually takes 2 – 3 minutes to install it on your testing or live server.
- Template: This is “template only” folder. Use this if you want to install Flex template on your existing Joomla website.
- Documentation: Detailed documentation on how to configure and use template.
- Extensions: SP Page Builder Pro, Virtuemart and Acymailing (Starter). These are required extension (standalone) if you want to install them separately of Quickstart.
- Licensing: GPL license
- Documentation: Detailed documentation on how to configure and use template.
This is just for now, Flex is going to be better and better in next releases, and include more files and extensions.

Yes, Flex supports Greek, as well as other languages. We have tried different languages, including Greek from http://community.joomla.org/translations/joomla-3-translations.html, including RTL and is working. RTL is going to improve in next release, speacially for Virtuemart.
Just to mention that we love Greek. Name Aplikko is coming from Greek word ????????. When you install additional language from http://community.joomla.org/translations/joomla-3-translations.html, just make it default and it will work.

We will add boxed layout in the near future, for you (and others) to see. The option exists (enable/disable) in template’s admin, of course.
Blog (posts in demo) is not running on K2 nor ZOO, it is a native part of template (Helix 3 framework). Flex has 7 article post formats: standard, video, gallery, audio, link, quote, status. You can see them on this link: http://flex.aplikko.com/posts. Each can be customized in the native (Joomla’s) Article Manager. No additional extension required.

Regarding the Flex blog, does it have an option to include comments?
Yes, you can choose under template’s admin > Blog, an options for 3 commenting engines: Disqus, IntenseDebate and Facebook. We will include it in demo soon.
Good to mention that in the same (Blog) section of template’s admin, are the options to enable Social Share buttons, like: Facebook like, Tweet, G+, Pin it, as well as options to setup image sizes for blogs (posts), for “Standard” or “Gallery” post format.

Just to let you know that you can see now “Boxed layout” and how it looks like, if you hover over “Pages” link in main menu, there is an option to select “Boxed Layout” and images for background. This is just a demo, of course. In template’s admin is an option to set custom width for “Boxed Layout” in pixels.
Also, Disqus comments are enabled in Blog (Posts) pages.

Do you know what this is? It looks like you copied a bunch of code into comments on ThemeForest.
What language are you using on your localhost? Virtuemart doesn’t come originally with rtl.css files you’re presenting. Check it for yourself.
As for the ”OUR BEST PARTNERS” and ”WHAT THEY SAY” (Slick slider addon), we will add this option (RTL) in Slick slider in next update, which is coming in a few days.

For now, there is no way to have background video on mobile (specially IOS), it doesn’t support automatic video play. It has been a struggle for all of us developers, but simple that’s the way it is with IOS, closed and locked circle. That’s why the fallback image is shown on IOS (iPad or iPhone) instead of video, looking a bit better then empty DIV. Page builder in Flex provides fallback image for mobile devices, that are not supporting video background.
