Hi, I bought this great template from you.
I need to open a Modal window with Ajax content from a button on another Modal window with Ajax content. Can you tell me how to create the link?
FYI: I have an Index page with Ajax loaded Modals for View, Edit or Add a record. The Ajax content comes from separate files/URLs. In the View modal I need to add an ‘Edit’-button to load the Edit Modal. And in the View and Edit Modals I need to add a ‘Delete’-button to load the Delete Modal to confirm the delete.
Everything works fine when loading the modals from other pages/files but because these modals are separate files ad loaded through Ajax I’m not sure how to call them from another modal. I guess I should close the modal and open a new one but not sure how to do that.
Hello, I just replied the ticket you created about that issue.
Kind Regards,
Jonas
I’ve one questions before i purchase.
I want use the HTML version, so how do you manage / set up the resources (css / js, etc…) for each page in the <head> so that you are only calling the resources that you need for the components (buttons, forms, tables, sliders, etc) that you are displaying on each page… as each page will have different components.
For example, it doesn’t make sense to call all CSS and JS files into every page if you are only using 5% of the overall components on each page?
01 – How do you know which resources are required for each component?
02 – Do you have a full list of the <head> resources so that we can just call all resources on every page, so that you don’t have to worry about leaving resources out?
Thanks in advance.
Hello, thanks for the interest in our template.
Porto Admin was created in a way that is easy to remove some of the features (keeping only the ones that you’re going to use), we also provide a few resources/tutorials on how to improve the page load, such as: http://www.okler.net/forums/topic/minify-php-how-to-combine-minify-and-cache-javascript-and-css-files-on-demand/
My suggestion is to remove the plugins that you will never use in any page and combine/compress all the other scripts so it will cache the resources and make it much better in performance in any other page.
Also, we have it separated in each page the required files and “Specific Page files”, see screenshot: http://www.okler.net/ss/20160710-ynw-111kb.jpg
Let me know if you have any questions.
Kind Regards, Jonas
Any plans to update the css and JS files? I know there have been updates to Jquery ui, etc.
Hello, sure, updates are coming soon.
Kind Regards,
Jonas
Awesome! Thank you for the excellent support!
Any idea when?
Hello, we will release it next month with more features and updates.
Thanks.
I need renew our support, but my concern is the HTML version gets updated a lot more frequently than this one. Do you have plans to support Bootstrap 4? Angular JS?
I am happy to keep renewing our support if you plan to keep it updated.
Hello, I’m sorry about that, we agree that we update the front-end version more often but we can guarantee that we will keep the admin updated too.
Bootstrap 4 is still not officially released, we will start the update process as soon as it’s released. AngularJS is not in our plans, at least for a near future.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Jonas

Hello Sir,
I plan to buy Porto Admin. However, I could not find parallax(one page). Parallax design will be before login page. How can I buy only parallax ?
Thank you.
Hello, thanks for the interest in our template.
Porto Admin does not come with front-end pages, however we have the front-end template compatible with it: http://themeforest.net/item/porto-responsive-html5-template/4106987 available on ThemeForest too.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Actually I bought Porto template for myself. However, I plan to buy porto admin for my client. Do I have a permission to use in two sites?
Hi, the license is for project/domain, so if you are going to use it in multiple domains (different projects), it’s required to purchase more licenses.
More about licenses: http://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
Let me know if you have any questions.

Looking at the theme, there seems to be no footer elements. Are there plans to add any footer or sticky footer elements? Thank you.
Hello, right now the template does not come with footer. If possible please send me some examples from what you mean and I may consider to add that in the future.
Kind Regards,
Jonas
When we buy your themes do you give us the git repository ? If you give us the git repository is better for us! i plan to buy porto admin
Hello, thanks for the interest in our templates. Unfortunately we cannot provide access to our git repository at this moment.

All css file is write with sass ?
Hello, sure, the template was created with SASS and comes with all SASS files included. The skin color file uses LESS (run-time processor with the Style Switcher), which is also included.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, there when I add a column/cell (just by adding an additional < th > and < tr >) to the editable table it removes the search bar, the pagination, the feature to add a row, the display xx, and the sorting feature and i can’t figure out why. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to evaluate the responsive template for applicability in our applications and it’s looking very attractive. There is one strange thing though I noticed when using the mobile layout. The UI Panel headers appear way too oversize (the title and the controls split into two lines and there is no apparent reason for that), is this by design?
Hello, thanks for the interest in our template.
I agree with you that the controls can be placed in the same line as the title.
I’ll fix that for the next version as well.
To fix that we just need to add this lines:
@media (max-width: 991px) {
.panel-actions {
float: right;
}
}
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, the Porto email template is offline. Is there any chance to help or contact on this with the author?
Hello, I’ll contact the author, thanks for letting me know about that.

Hello! This template looks amazing! Is it possible to add a video (instead of a photograph) in lightbox portfolio page? Thanks!
Hello, here’s an example:
HTML:
<a href="#video-01" id="openVideo">Open Video</a>
<div id="video-01" class="white-popup-block mfp-hide">
<video controls preload="auto" width="100%" height="100%">
<source src="http://vjs.zencdn.net/v/oceans.mp4" type="video/mp4">
</video>
</div>
JS:
(js/custom.js)
$('#openVideo').magnificPopup({
type: 'inline',
callbacks: {
open: function() {
$('html').css('margin-right', 0);
$(this.content).find('video')[0].play();
},
close: function() {
$(this.content).find('video')[0].load();
}
}
});

As an FYI for others, after much struggling, I’ve found out that the Bootstrap-Confirmation plugin for the Porto Admin theme, is not compatible with jQuery plugin for URI.js. This was a royal pain to track down. Hopefully I can save someone else the headache this has caused me by mentioning it here. Bottom line is that it overrides the jquery hook for getting the href attribute from the confirmation button, resulting in a confirmation button that is analogous to instead of .
Also, there is a small overlap of class names with the Porto Admin theme using an [arrow] class for it’s large arrow image backed by a 21kb spritemap. It’s being loaded anytime a bootstrap popover element (like the confirmation) is loaded, since it uses a class called arrow for the arrow segment pointing at the source element. If the image is missing, a 404 error is recorded, and if it’s there but not yet loaded, it’s an extra 21kb download for the browser.
Hello, thanks you so much for sharing that problem you had with the plugin and I’ll check that problem with the arrow you also mentioned.
Kind Regards,
Jonas
Hello
i already bought the porto html template and it is gorgeous. Now I want to buy the porto admin template for a new project (advanced forms). Is it possible to give a checkbox / radiobutton the option to show a new field if checked? I did not find this in the demo. Thanks Peter
Hello, thanks for your purchase and interest on Porto Admin. Unfortunately we don’t have an example of that at this moment but you can find some ways to to that on the web, for example: http://jsfiddle.net/TrueBlueAussie/DLQY9/1/

Hi, I[m looking to build a mock-up of a desktop application. Should I get the HTML version or the ADMIN version (or both?)
Hello, thanks for the interest in our template. It’s OK to use only the HTML (front-end) version to build a website, here are a few things to consider:
What is a HTML Admin Template?
Porto Admin is a HTML template, it’s not fully functional, the theme comes with HTML/CSS/JS files that allows you to integrate with your own system and create your own solution, with server-side scripting languages such as PHP, Ruby on Rails, aspNet, etc… (That integration is responsibility of the buyer). It works the same way for all template under the HTML category on ThemeForest.
How does the integration with the front-end template works?
Porto Admin is not a CMS/Editor system ready to create new pages on Porto Front-End template. The integration is actually a package of new features from the admin to add in the front-end template, such as advanced tables, advanced forms, etc…
You basically need to consider that the HTML Admin Template is not ready to be used as a content manager for Porto Front-End, all that server integration you would have to create from scratch.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Kind Regards, Jonas
I own both the front end and back end admin Porto template. Awesome Job!
The date picker is not working properly. Even though there is not enough space on the top it tries to display the date picker pop up on the top and a portion of it is getting cut off making it difficult to pick a date. Here is a link to my page: http://bo-alhuda.rhcloud.com/web/pt/create . Please let me know what I am doing wrong.
Hello, you can change the orientation, just change it in the data-plugin-options, for example:
<input type="text" data-plugin-datepicker data-plugin-options='{"orientation": "bottom auto"}' class="form-control">

Hi there.
Just bought the Porto theme for Magento. When I log into Magento admin, the admin panel is hopelessly old looking and not very user friendly. I need an admin panel where I can edit the theme easily in a more WYSIWYG style. Is this possible with your service? Do you provide special requests about coding or custom add-ons for the Porto theme? If none of the above, could you refer me to a provider of this? Thanks!
Hello, thanks for your purchase.
As you may know, the Magento version was created by another author so my suggestion is to contact them at: http://themeforest.net/item/porto-ultimate-responsive-magento-theme/9725864/supportThey may be able to help you with that.
Kind Regards,
Jonas
i intend to purchase this theme. i need it to for my server performance graphs. Does this theme works with WHMCS server modules? Thank you.
Hello, thanks for the interest in our template.
Porto Admin does not come with anything specific for WHMCS at this moment.
Let me know if you have any questions.

How do i get the sidebar to persist its toggle state after postback?
<div class="visible-xs toggle-sidebar-left" data-toggle-class="sidebar-left-collapsed" data-target="html" data-fire-event="sidebar-left-collapsed">
<i class="fa fa-bars" aria-label="Toggle sidebar" />
</div>

.input-group-icon input.form-control.input-lg {
font-size: 16px;
}
Also, the custom file jquery.browser.mobile.js is used to detect mobile browsers, but it re-uses uses the browsers property on the jQuery object, which breaks support for allowing dev’s to include the jQuery.Migrate file to regain older jquery behaviors under certain scenarios. The Porto file is smart enough to tack on to the existing object, but the jQuery Migrate one is not. Therefor to get this to work you need to have the jQuery Migrate file included after Porto’s reference to jQuery, but before the Porto reference to jquery.browser.mobile.js
I’m still working on adapting this theme to an existing project, so I’m coming across small stuff like as I go.
Hello, thank you so much for your purchase and for your feedback, we will consider that for the next versions.
