The video player of my website using your theme don’t work since i update the plugin META BOX
THEME NAME : Video News = WordPress Magazine / Newspaper Theme
I just process of elimination to arrive at the conclusion that when I do the update of the extension called Meta Box, the video player do not work anymore.
So the problem comes from Meta Box.
So I ask you to correct this bug well for me, please.

You don’t need a plugin. The Ad spots available in the theme can be displayed via the custom widget for sidebars and via Theme Options for the 728×90 ad displayed in the footer.

Hello, On page for example m2 widget, Categories are not linked and also there is nor read more button. any user on homepage cant open category page. how can i put a read more button in front of category name. Thank you

1. In Module 2, take a look at the demo: http://anthemes.com/themes/video/red/home-with-module-2/ there isn’t any category or any read more button.
2. Others modules have “categories linked”: http://pasteboard.co/9FIYzCRYj.jpg the theme has the options / features that can be seen in the demo. Generally speaking, if it’s not in the demo then it’s not in the theme.
To add a read more button, you’ll need to customize the widgets modules that can be found in /functions/widgets/ as for the “more” button next to the widget (module) title in order to open the page with all articles from that category, will be available in the next update.

Hello, Currently i am using obsolete theme “deTube” it has embed code feature video links. i have 10000+ posts on my website. this theme will support all links or i have to edit them manually.

Mostly the “deTube” used some custom fields that my theme dosen’t have, so if you’ve added videos from some fields / meta boxes that are outside from WordPress editor, the videos will not show on Video Theme or any theme, so you’ll need to edit the posts manually or tu reproduce/create the same fields (id) in my theme.

Also, we haven’t tested “deTube” theme, so we don’t know the amount of work involved to create the fields / guide. Maybe in the future, if will be more interest from our customers.

I don’t want to insert Embed into the post .its different option
At the moment the theme has meta boxes only for Vimeo and Youtube as can be seen in the demo. If will be more interest on this, we will extend the meta boxes in order to add more videos. But for now, the default WordPress function can be used: https://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds

I think you need to optimize the submission form on your video theme, to include a field for pasting YouTube video link (or Vimeo, etc). That is the essence of a video theme. Don’t you agree?

The Homepage is created with Widgets Modules. Video example here. Regarding the Visual Composer, if you want to use it, you’ll be able to use it for article pages or default / full width pages. Also, the theme doesn’t come with Visual Composer.
