1. For automatically grading, it supports only multiple choices types. If it’s a text field (sentence answer), this will require instructor to grade manually. The system can’t do that automatically..

4. Yes but note that Woocommerce will work as standalone plugin. Courses can’t be sold via Woocommerce.

1. no we don’t have subscription feature.

2. well, normally if users have direct link to video file, they will be able to download it.. To protect from being downloaded, you have to block direct access via htaccess method. Please google for more about this.

final questions before I buy: the subscription feature is very important to me. Not now, but later in time when more videos /courses are in place.

1 – is there a option to agregate 4 courses in a pack and sell it as a bundle? 2 – can I using the backoffice give acess to all videos for a week or month and then cancel that acess (substituting thus the subscription)? 3 – If I have a course with say 3 modules. Somenone buy that course. Starts with module one…takes the lessons…and then skips the module 2 and goes to module 3. Is there any way that they cant view module 3 wothout finishing the module 2? 4 – can we follow the progression of each student? time spent on that lesson, etc? thanks! I really like your template so I0m trying to make this work with it!

Did you use a plugin to modify user role ? Normally, instructor should be able to publish the course without the need to be reviewed.

Administrator of the site can approve the course, btw, there aren’t any notification system for this.

2. Unfortunately, the system will only allow member(WP user as ‘student’) to access course. You may disable the sign-up function but you have to add student manually first.

3. Yes that’s fine. If your videos work in WordPress (default theme), it should be working with ours too So if you haven’t tried, you may tried it first. Normally, WordPress itself supports HTML5 video.

4. no, you may have to separate it in to each page and provide page url to each student.

5. Sorry we don’t have suggestion on this :/

You’re correct. Ones who have your website url can access to site.. Or you may seek for plugin that won’t allow user to access site until they login first. I’m not sure if this kind of plugin exist or not,

Thanks for your quick reply, If I placed the video in the course content area that mean there is no one can watch the video before purchase please make it clear for me because our health centre are interesting to view live courses but it’s not free ..

This depends. Normally, if users have directly link to video(url file), they can access the video directly.(But in real life, if you name the file pretty hard to guess, no one will know that except purchaser. Purchase may view course code on browsers to inspect file nam…but they purchased the file anyway ) However, you can also block directly access to video file using htaccess. You can google for more about it.. Note that this method is only applied to self hosted video. If you’re using third party video(host some where else), you have to ask them that if they can block direct video access and only allow when run via embedded within other website or not.

1. Nope, only registered users can access to course.

2. They can see in their backend after finished the courses.

3. We have expiration for courses. New users can’t purchase course that expired but ones who purchased before still be able to access course.

4. yes you can set number of course retaken times. http://take.ms/m596Z

It says pending because it’s a sentence answer section that require instructor to check manually. After this, instructor will see notification and have to give score to student manually. (But this is demo so we don’t have instructor to give score.)
