me and my friends bought your baby kids theme some months ago: it’s awesome and we are really happy about it.
anyway now we are having some troubles with the theme and expecially with the visual composer plugin that is essential for us: without it we cant modify our pages! so you can imagine how much this pluing is important!
we read your support forum on themeforest.net and this interesting article: http://www.cleanthemes.net/visual-composer-and-wp-4-5/ and we followed these steps:
- disable baby kids theme old version - uploaded theme new version 2.2 - updated nikdark Baby Kids Shortcodes plugin and WPBakery Visual Composer plugin
but nothing happened!
maybe we forget something? can you please help us? thank you so much we know you are working hard to fix all the problems, thanks again

could you please help me to get rid of an inbuilt version of Visual Composer? I wish to have a latest freshly updated version of Visual Composer, but after I purchased and installed the latest version of Visual Composer and try it to edit my main page the main page was broken.

Hi MKoptev,The issue is because there is an inbuilt version of Visual Composer (or the related code) present in your theme. You will have to get rid of it. I would advise you to do so with the help of theme author, otherwise you might loose the extra elements added by him. Once this is done, you can install the standalone plugin and it will work fine. Hi Author, I updated my blog already. I downloaded the version 2.2 and file by file copied to the theme folder. I took only new files, that were after 2015 year. I spent whole last night to do it – it’s around 5 hours. But the nice thing is that your developers broke the theme baby kids: did not check compatibility with a new version of WP, did not send emergency letter to customers asking to not do update there blog to the new WP version. Guys, I’m really angry of your job and the most epic thing you wants 50 EUR to install you theme to custom domain. Really, a nice thing happening there.

Visual Composer is not showing UI, just showing a bunch of shortcodes. How do I fix this?
That’s was (still is) my problem too. In fact, that happens on every page. I think it has to do with the update because I started experiencing this after I updted to wp4.5. The template guys haven’t kept up with the update. What you can do is work with shortcode in the meantime. Choose the “Text” option in the editor. Google visual composer shortcodes and you’ll see how to insert/edit different elements. I hope it helps.

A client called me because they were having a problem with the Baby Kids theme. It appears that the FOCUS TITLE option no longer lets them link to the url. Every time they try or I try to link it to a url it lets me select it then says undefined. Any ideas?
