Hi, the visual composer interface is not loading properly and needs to updated, but I can’t update it because it is registered under the author. From what I read online, you the author, need to update it on your end and push the change. Is that correct?

You are right about your observations with the exception of one thing: the latest theme version already includes a fix to that issue.
Please update the theme and them go to Appearance>Install Plugins to update Visual Composer.

Hi Pirenko ! Still working on my website… catherinedassonville.fr I have a problem with the scroll down arrow option. The arrow doesn’t appear on my 2 portfolio sections called “la com” and “la presse”. Then the whole scroll is screwed.
I searched a lot to find a reason why, but I didn’t succeed.

Hi there,
I am using the split layout for my portfolio items and I have videos inside, however, some of these videos are not in the first position field, the video is autoplaying so if I have images and videos, when the image is the first thing you can listen to the music of the video because it is autoplaying.
I still want to use autoplay for videos when they are the first item in the portfolio element, however, I would like them not to autoplay if they are not the first item.
Any advice how to fix this?

The autoplay is controlled by the video embed parameters and not by the theme. Please check the API documentation for your video service (YouTube, Vimeo, etc…) to know how to turn ON/OFF the autoplay feature.

Thank you! I updated everything you mentioned, and that fixed the issue with image clarity. The product images are still off-center, though. It looks like there is a 40px left padding on one of the elements that contains the image. I can’t seem to find it in the CSS, though. If I’m right about what’s causing the display problem, can you recommend a way to change it?

Ah great ok, I didn’t realise there wasn’t an auto theme update! Thanks.
I just updated the theme via FTP and installed the new plugins, however the VC still isn’t working and a few of my pages have broken.
Also, when I update the theme, it still says version 1.9 in my theme information within Wordpress.

For some reason I am not able to edit anything using visual composer with Pulse theme. I updated the theme to latest version but it gives me this error:
“The following plugins need to be updated to their latest version to ensure maximum compatibility with this theme: Pulse Framework and WPBakery Visual Composer. The updates are located on the theme root folder inside the external_plugins folder.”
Whenever I want to edit a page with Visual Composer it doesn’t load, it gets stuck on the loading gif of vc.
Should I update Visual Composer after updating your theme? I basically updated the theme by uploading pulse-theme.zip in wordpress.

As an update, I went ahead and replaced the js_composer folder via ftp with the js_composer folder included in the latest download available with your theme. Apparently that solved the issue and now I am able to see blocks with visual composer. I didn’t do anything from the wordpress itself. Would that be a proper fix? Just making sure. Thanks.

It seems that you have implemented some custom changes to the theme and they are interfering with the theme default features.
Anyway, please check Theme Options>Header Section and check the value that you have on the option Minimum window width before activate mobile mode.

The settings are the same as they were before the 4.5 update.
Well, in that case please remove some of the changes that you implemented, because we can’t fix any manual changes implemented into the theme file system. All we can add is that on the js folder you will find the scripts that control that feature.

Hi, when I update the Pulse 1.9 to 2.0 using the ftp method I get a white screen and also unable to login to /wp-admin. The wp-admin method of updating doesn’t seem to upload the theme correctly either – I just get ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ with no options other than to cancel.
Any idea what’s happening?
WP is 4.5, PHP 7.0.5, MySQL 5.5.49

Hi, uploading the plugins worked. Auto-click install doesn’t seem to. I have the pages but there are no testimonials, no portolfio items, no team members and no images. A lot seems missing. I’d like to have to mulltipage main demo. I did select everyting with the auto installer

It is a bit unusual, but sometimes the host does not allow this type of automated plugin install.
You can indeed upload them via FTP, but maybe it is easier if you install them via WordPress admin area. All you have to do is select the option to upload a plugin (you will find the plugins inside the theme “external_plugins” folder).
