Yes, that is the only way, to change excerpt length of the small grid layout you, Innovation > Block Styling > Small Grid Excerpt Length. then input the value. You also can enable excerpt option of WordPress to custom content for the excerpt.

This leads to another question, if you don’t mind. I started using Child Themes for modifications some time back, but am wondering if using the Parent theme is the best option for site speed? Especially since you do have the Custom CSS page to use in the parent theme.

2+3. I am a bit confused about your opinion. Can you please be more specific about this? Do you want to create a new post type like: portfolio?

4. Yes, the page builder support shortcodes/HTML box to help you create dynamic content in Home page.

To clarify 2+3, I want to be able to create custom post types that use their own taxonomies (categories and tags). I have groups of data that I can’t present in the same chronological order as regular posts. So yes you can say they are another post type similar to portfolio.They are not the regular posts and pages that wordpress comes with by default. Custom post types are created and set up differently and they can be customized.

Maybe that is something we need to do with PHP code if you want to create a new post type. The theme supports child theme so you can create your custom functions, but I think it is very difficult if you don’t have a lot of knowledge about WordPress and PHP code.

Of course, The theme support translation so you can translate it to your language, but i am not sure that your language is LTR or LTR. Because at the moment, the theme doesn’t support RTL language.

Thank you for reply. It may not be a big deal for you but for those who are used too of visual composer, it is not very comfortable. I hope you will consider integrating your page builder for posts in future.

One more question, how can I show category description on category page? Right now, I can only see category title. I want to show category description as well under title.

Overall, I am happy with the theme. It is very fast and simple to use. Looking forward for more cool features in future.

Would this issue (max_post_size) effect the content/hosting storage?

That will not affect to hosting but it will affect to you , That config is limit the size of the file when you upload. If you upload a big file, the issue will happen.

I recommended you should ask hosting provider increase below the config:

1. max_input_vars (up to 10k if you have a lot of categories)

2. memory_limit (256M if you use Woocommerce plugin)

3. max_post_size ( up to 10M allow you can upload big files or plugins)

Yes, The theme supports more tag if you are using classic layout. The list and the grid layouts use excerpts or part of content if you have not input excerpts.

I am sorry to say that the theme is not compatible visual composer. But actually you can use visual composer with base features of that plugin.

The theme is very easy to you, and you don’t need to know any code HTML. Just add posts, and it will automatically display in home page.

In next version (2.0). The theme will support page builder, It is not visual composer but it is fast, light and very easier to use than visual composer. and it have same features as visual composer plugin.

Texts you have seen in featured image is featured credit text option of theme, that is not caption of image. Caption of image only display in post content.

How easy would it be for me to modify the template to display the caption rather than the custom featured credit text? Like I said, my concern is that I have so many images that have a necessary credit in the caption – and I don’t know that I can afford to lose them all when switching to a new theme.
