I have a page where I’m supposed to add the shortcode for the Twitch Live Stream. How can I add custom short codes on a page? I’ve tried adding it in back end editor mode, didn’t work. I tried using the front end editor, added a raw html module, didn’t work. I tried using text block, same thing.
Documentation only said using a row – but that didn’t really do anything.
I just need to put this shortcode on the page: [twitch-channel channel=”some_username” chat=”hide”]
How hard could it be?
And same question as @ezeey – how can we change the blog post heading to H1? That’s just terrible SEO.
I tried using the video post, I put in the youtube ID, and a huge blank space shows up on the page instead of the video.

1. You can try to put your shortcode in classic mode text editor of Visual Composer. Or inside Text Widget in some widget area.
2. Submit a ticket to https://edge.ticksy.com ,and our support team will explain to you how you can change it to h1 tags. They also need to check this issue with video posts you’re experiencing.

There’s no direct option for this. You would need to manually change theme templates, to change h2 tags into h1.

You can even use those default ones, but it’s not recommended since they’re deprecated in the recent VC versions.

i about wrong pictures i have installed this plugin Yoast SEO it allows me to select which picture for social media thumbnail, so far is working please advice if there is something on your side

Yes, you need to install and use some plugin that can handle open graph protocols, to be able to share precise info from your post.
Yoast can do that yes.
And note that in any time, you can visit https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and test how your open graph tags are applied.
And in Open Graph Object Debugger, for all your posts, you should preview existing scrape information, and fetch new one if necessary then the right photo should render!

Hello, I purchased and installed fresh demo and having a issue. Please go to http://jakeundlouis.de when I scroll to the button, the footer is jumping back the page. I can’t scroll to the footer. Browser Safari and chrome on macOS. Oh and some articles are missing in demo?

There’s no problem with it, just make sure that the content on your right side is bigger/longer than the sidebar content, then you can safely use Sticky sidebar widget.

Thank you for interesting in our theme. For the single image there is option to show caption you could use for this purpose. Also, as we found from our customers this with summary after image could be done with some plugin for this purpose. We cannot guarantee compatibility cause we didn’t test this with our theme. But maybe this info could be helpful for you.

In Appearance -> Themes, check the version of your Magazine Vibe theme? It should be 1.3 now. And in Plugins -> check the version of Visual Composer, it should be 4.12.
And check your site, to see if it’s all working fine.
You can always re-do the update, nothing to worry there.

Hi, thanks…it is still 1.1..and VC is 4.11. :-(( I downloaded the new package, I unzipped it, than I sent ONLY the 2 folders – ‘magazinvibe” and “magazinvibe-child” – via ftp to wp-content / themes. Is it not the right way to do it!?

Unfortunately, we’re not in a position to accept custom work. Our support is on service for all theme users, for any help they need and some minor modifications are supported, but for any bigger customization, users need to do it on their own.
