This is happening because poison is not a Wordpress theme. you cant install HTML theme as wordpress
just purchased Poison html template..attempting to install via my ftp to my existing site…but admittedly I don’t really know what I’m doing. When i try to expand the zip file i get empty folders?can you tell me how many files or what total size this template should be so i know i have it all.
Hi, You should not get empty folder , may be zip file you downloaded is corrupted, have you tried downloading again? Please do that and I am sure you will not see empty folders anymore.
sorry i haven’t replied. I’m working on dreamweaver CS5. i have my site correctly directed to root folder and have added my own content to the albums.html file. however the index.html file just gives me constant progress wheel (12hours) so i have to keep forcing dreamweaver to quit. when i open the file on safari it shows my content added, why would it not open in dreamweaver for me? any ideas?
index.html file will not open in Dreamweaver, or in Contribute after albums.html and news.html and assets folders are all full of my content. i tried contribute as a last ditch, uploaded it all with filezilla just to bring the main page down into contribute o edit an existing website. no joy. now my page has my photos and your demo text and i can’t fix it. for crying out loud , essentially I just want to change the editable regions in that file and I’m done : please respond any time you like. i really need some help here.

Hi, you are suppose to remove username from main.js file which inside assets/js folder, If API keys are from same account that you need to show then no need to add any usernames but if account name is different then you are suppose to replace it with envato. Let me know if you still have issues

I don’t understand , I mean you are talking about images and you are giving a link to jPlayer…. About random images this plugin may not come with shuffle feature you would have to use other plugin if that is your requirement, as this is a new feature hence not covered in support.

Hi, It is pretty basic contact form, I have tested it my self I can receive email. Have you changed php file? You only have to change your email in the submit.php and it should work fine
i did that but when i hit sendnothing happens.. so here is my question should i be on a server say like i am currently testing it out on my laptop. SO say like if i uploaded it to a web host and created all the necessary folders will it work on there? i just want to know if i am doing it right and i need to be on a server that supports php not my local laptop.. thanks
ooh yes you need a server. If you wanna test it on laptop try using local server , but with local server you cant send email, I mean you can but too many settings . So better you put your site on your hosting and then test It should work 
Hello! I have another issue that the images on the slider they don´t adjust themselves when I see them on my mobile. If you see on the demo http://xvelopers.com/html/poison/index3.html you will see that the pictures don´t ajust to the mobile screen. Please let me know ASAP. Thanks. Fabián
the images are not part of the slider , I mean the images are different slider , that is a background slider named ,vegas, ,http://vegas.jaysalvat.com/ , and this is how it resize it self. You can add images inside the above slider that holds the caption and it would resize in a better way.

Hello I tested on IE 11. The page is black and no information.
It is working now! I realized that I have this site on compatibility mode on IE so it did not show. Don´t know why this happens but now I disable the compatibility mode and it works fine.

Your theme is still using the modal gallery and people are still having problem it.
I have purchased your theme and also paid for the 1 year support. Your refusal to help is inconceivable. If you won’t help me, I will have to choice but to ask for refund. My client is already complaining. Because in your sale page you stated that we add pictures and videos in the modal gallery.
And also here is someone else answer to all the people that are having problem with the gallery. I guest it’s someone with a lot more experience.
- For those of you who are having trouble integrating the modal/gallery features of this product.
1. The codebase the seller provides only has one chunk of code for the gallery, the demo is misleading because it shows multiple different top level galleries yet they are identical to one another and linked to the same modal code. If the seller took a few moments to add a second gallery example then that would have helped a lot of folks with learning how to implement the gallery and would have alerted the seller to the bug.
2. If you simply duplicate the modal and rename the ID and its linking reference (as the seller suggests) you will find that even with the “pristine” untouched code directly out of the sellers provided zip file you will find a bug on the second, third, fourth, etc gallery.
3. The bug appears when switching between the grid gallery and a gallery item image. The grid becomes a stack of images (single column), rather than retaining its original six columns per row.
The bug is architectural and is a difficult problem to solve. I decided to abandon trying to fix it and opt for a sloppy yet effective solution. **
As you can see I have a valid problem with the theme.
It’s not that simple, because I saw so many people with the same problem and why you created only one gallery. I went to that site already and I was not able to do it. If it was that easy, you would at least create a second gallery as an example.
I have a check all the comments and did not find anyone that get it a second gallery to work. Everybody have the same problem…
