We don’t have any page builders or anything like that built into the theme. Skillfully uses the default WordPress post editor to create posts, courses, etc.

Hi there,

Just to be clear, the functionality of Skillfully (the ability to create & manage courses) is all driven by the Sensei plugin by WooCommerce.

That said, the tuto.com website looks pretty similar to how you would setup a course with Sensei. You can add videos to every lesson and restrict those lessons to active students only.

Yes, we maintain our themes on a regular basis. Priority usually goes to bug fixes and ensuring compatibility with the latest WP standards or other plugin updates. Then, based on demand, we’ll work on feature releases.

Yes, the theme will work with PHP 7. If you have any issues, please let us know.

Guys, your theme is really nice. But so little customisable..

I mean. Why is not possible to edit the front page / homepage with the normal editor? and all of the blocks are pre settled?

How can we achieve to have 3 column instead of 4 ( latest courses in homepage )

1) We haven’t tested the theme with WPML but Skillfully is fully translatable. The WPML plugin should work. If you have any issues we can definitely help you out.

2) No, there are no styles or code specifically for Visual Composer but I know a few users have successfully used VC on their sites with Skillfully.

3) Yes, the homepage template layout is not editable with the WP editor. We can certainly help you with any support questions on our support forum including some basic CSS help to get you pointed in the right direction if customizing the theme is what you’re looking to do. We also offer customization services if needed.

By offline courses, we mean a physical class that you would go to. You’d probably want to list those under Events.

Do you know how Restrict Content Pro integrates with Sensei? Because I already have Sensei and some courses and I’m looking for some fine theme for it. Especially something that will allow Memebership options.

Technically, RCP doesn’t integrates with Sensei, but we’ve integrated RCP into the theme which is integrated with Sensei, if that makes sense.

With RCP active, you have the ability to hide courses or even individual lessons based on RCP subscription level. The Screenshots you see on the item info page show how a course looks when locked by RCP subscription.

You are correct, we do not have a demo with RCP set up. We do have a few screenshots on the RCP section of the theme details page here on ThemeForest showing you what a course looks like when it’s locked and what a pricing table plugin would look like on your homepage.

Yes, WooCommerce Subscriptions should work with Skillfully. The Sensei team has tested it and confirms that Sensei will work with WC Subscriptions: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/sensei-and-membership/

That being said, we recently (last week) released an update for Skillfully to make it compatible with Restrict Content Pro. I would recommend taking a look at RCP for subscriptions and memberships if you’re interested.

Also am I able to put a video on my home page that will automatically start playing when people come onto my site?

Hello! The short answer to your question is ‘yes’.

Skillfully has little functionality in it. What it does is style the output of the Sensei plugin. Sensei allows you to sell your courses, and Skillfully makes it look good. So you can allow users to buy courses on a course by course basis which would allow them to view the videos available for those courses.

We don’t have anything built into the theme to autoplay a video. But if you embed something like YouTube video that has the autoplay option on, that would autoplay.

A faster solution would be to roll back to a previous version of WooCommerce, one that the theme files is still compatible with. Here’s a link to Version 2.7.0 (current version is 3.0.1). You won’t miss out on anything and you should still be able to register your students the way you did before.

Yeah I found it to be an interesting bug as well. I’m wondering if it’s a wordpress core bug. I don’t recall seeing that behavior previously, so maybe this is something due to a recent code change on their end.

I’m not familiar with Login Ninja but my assumption is that this should work. The form that you see on Skillfully is still used to log you into the WP site.

That being said, I suggest reaching out to the plugin team as well to find out if there are any requirements for the plugin to work properly (such as the URL of the login form, as you suggested).

That being said, you can use a plugin like WordPress ReCaptcha Integration: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-recaptcha-integration/. Install and activate the plugin. It will ask you for your reCaptcha keys in the plugin settings. Once you’ve finished setting everything up, you can choose which forms you’d like to add reCaptcha to.
