Yes, you can use Give Plugin for a single page donation form. Give has more extensions but it support support simple donations only whereas Charitable offers a full featured campaigns solution on the other side.

The calendar will look the way it is in the demo, the screenshot you shared is of some other event plugin.

The top bar consists of theme options data and not a widgeted sidebar.

You can use WP all import plugin for any bulk upload feature

The campaigns/causes donations can be extended with “Easy Digital Downloads” extension for WP Charitable https://www.wpcharitable.com/extensions/ but for now EDD not support your desired gateway http://docs.easydigitaldownloads.com/article/1247-what-gateways-are-not-supported

Thanks. Have now purchased and installed demo content. However – when switching on “Show Filters?” settings (for list view), the causes do not re-sort when any of the category filter buttons are clicked. ie. Clicking on “Environment” or “Human Rights” does nothing. Is this a bug that needs to be fixed or is there another setting somewhere?

To clarify, sorting on grid view seems to work fine, but we also need it to work for list view.

Thanks for your purchase. The category filters work with grid layout for now in a isotope grid. You can however show causes of selected categories in list view. I have noted this point down and will add functionality for sorting in list view as well in coming updates.

These are the default need of the causes but you can hide them by using simple css which I would be happy to assist you with.

Yes you can hide the filters for causes.

On weekdays response time is maximum 24 hours but on weekend it can take Upto 48 -72 hours

The form for the event registration can be customized but it needs customization in theme files.
