Hi, My website was working fine apart from minor issues till I gave you guys access and the whole website broke after 20 mins. I didn’t do anything apart from making a user for you guys to check the playlist error. Please tell me exactly what you did on the website so I can fix the issue. You fiddled with W3 Total Cache plugin, I had cloudflare installed as well. It has broken the website and I cannot access wp-admin page as well. please respond asap.

Hi! The theme is fantastic. I’m using a plugin that automatically import Youtube videos and convert them to posts. I noticed that the plugin fill in the content and excerpt fields with the YouTube video description. How can I get the name of the excerpt field in order to write in it another string? For example, for the URL of the video I used the “tm_video_code” field. But I can’t get the excerpt field. Thanx!

Can we change width of website, width of post content, width of sidebar in admin panel. There is option in avada theme, multinews theme and innovation theme? Have to plan to add this feature in near future if it is not present in ur current version?

We have Custom CSS option allowing user change width of: Post content, Sidebar (using CSS code) in Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options. However, we don’t have direct options/functions such as post content width, sidebar width to change the width.
We will consider to add these options in future if necessary. But we don’t make sure if it can be applied or not.

- You can manually add Ads code after 1st paragraph of the article. But it can not be set as default for all post, you need to add for each post.
- You also can add Ads code before the last 2 paragraphs of the article. Because in Post, you can manually add Ads code at any position.

Unfortunately, we do not make option to icons social share always visible. Because current icons social share are used to display on Top Menu, but when you scroll page up or scroll page down, sticky menu only display Main menu and sticky menu do not display Top Menu.

HI, to anyone wanting unlimited options for this themes video submission function. I am using a plugin called user frontend pro. This is a cheap plugin and works great. Unfortunately Cactusthemes has failed for years to provide a more comprehensive video submission solution even for true mag which is supposed to be video focused. Only allowing video URL in the submission is almost a joke. This is a useless function. If you want users to be able to upload videos, submit embed codes and other things user frontend pro works. To use it with newstube or truemag simply create the form in the plugin and then place the corresponding shortcode into the video submission widget instead of the contact form template in the theme. Our Video Submission function is extensible, which means user can use any form plugins such as Contact Form 7, WP User Frontend PRO, etc
We intentionally didn’t develop the file upload function because there are many good plugins supporting file manager on the market.

It is bad enough that your theme refuses to be recognized by envato toolkit plugin to be easily updated with one click. But also I get notifications of new updates available and considering I must overwrite all files via FTP to complete the update I would like to know if it is worth my time. Unfortunately I have no way of knowing because you are failing to update your release logs every time you push out an update. I just got a notification a couple weeks ago via email for an update but your release logs last entry is in May. Please let us know what each and every update contains. Thank you.

Our theme can be recognized by Envato Toolkit plugin to update via one-click method as you can see here http://prnt.sc/c0lj6v (Envato Toolkit > Theme tab). However, we don’t recommend this method of update theme because its performance is not stable due to our check. Could you please check this new document of NewsTube theme update via Envato toolkit plugin for more details http://newstube.cactusthemes.com/doc/docs/installation/auto-update/ We know manually update will takes time of user but it is still the safe way to update at this time.
For your information, you can make a small search and you will see many report of updating issue with Envato toolkit.

Hi, ‘Random’ condition doesn’t work in NewTube Smart Content Box or Post Grid. I set the count to 200 for query. Assigned series of category IDs which contains more than 200 video posts. But when I set Condition to Random and save, it keeps showing from the lasted post. Please advise. Thanks.

It could be a good solution for top advertising but how can I do to have that advertising shown correctly?
It could be perfect if the page div went down the right height of the advertising and if it happened only when the advertising is activated..

Unfortunately, BAW Post View Count plugin doesn’t support to count views of Cactus-Ads. While, the Cactus-Ads plugin has its own function to count the views of Ads, but it applies for Video Ads in Video Post, not Banner Ads.
Currently, we do not support counting function for Ads banner in any location of Newstube theme except Video Ads.

I watched and followed your tutorial on youtube on how to edit and use Newstube, but on visual composer i dont see the Newstube comparatetable, Newstube Iconbox Newstube download box Newstube devider and the rest !!!! .. Or, you can follow these steps to update your theme and do not forget to backup Custom CSS segments in Theme Options > Custom CSS and any customized code if you have updated before.
- Download the lastest theme version from ThemeForest.
- Deactivate current theme by going to Appearance > Themes and activate any other themes such as the default Wordpress 3.8’s Twenty Fourteen.
- Delete older version by clicking Delete. Confirm to delete.
- Upload and re-install new version.
All posts and settings will be saved. This is data-safe method.
Follow the same steps with plugins in theme package.
