Hi, I want to add social media icons to top bar or near the menu but I could not do it. I use baby photography theme. I opened th top bar and set social icons section. “Show Sociable YES” – “Enable Top Bar YES” but nothing happened. Thanks

Get into option Dashboard > Layout > Header > Others > Enable Topbar under the option you can use the sociable icon shortcode in the textbox. It displays the social icons which are added under the sociable option.

Presales questions for events/calendar:
We consider the theme for an art gallery/showroom and the the closest demo seems to be “Hotel” – unless you advise otherwise 
Qs:
1. Our exhibitions will obviously last a few weeks each. Unfortunately we couldn’t find an event lasting longer than a few hours in the demo. Could you please add long-term events, as we like to see how it looks like (displayed as lots of single day events or nicely in a single window displaying a from/to date) ?
2. Can we sync the calendar with, say GoogleCal?
3. It’s stated that you use the normal, free “The Events Calendar” plugin, but the demo shows more than the free version offers (like weekly views e.g.) which is nice 
Any more features included that differ from the free version ?
Remark: Using Chrome (current version) in “Location” (Hotel demo) the map covers the address field halfway …

1) We have used “The events Calendar” plugin for our events section in our theme. You can set the event end date as you like so that the events lasts until the date that you select.
2) We have not checked our events section with GoogleCal. Mostly the external plugins will work with our theme. But we cannot guarantee for it.
3) Yes like events calendar pro, the ultimate addons of visual composer plugins also will work with our theme. We will update the theme with more options in the coming days and you can more from our theme.
Note: We have fixed the issue that you have mentioned in the location page. We will include this fix in our next version. Thanks for letting us know.

Never mind, used fontawesome instead of the icon classes…but you can show how to access the class names – my guesses eg. “magic” with the magic wand icon (from inspect element) didn’t work

How do I install or use the child themes?

Follow the below steps.
1) In the theme files package, you can see a zip file veda-child.zip. Just unzip that file to the folder veda-child/ and upload that folder in the path wp-content/themes/
2) Now login to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes.
3) You can see the child theme. Just click the “activate” button to activate the veda child theme.

Hi. I have some issues with a plugin (RnB – WooCommerce Rental & Booking System) I tried using with your theme. It looks like a javascript or css issue. Using it with your theme, the date picker (or any other thing apart from title in the product area) isn’t clickable – more like there’s a layer on top of it preventing clicks. Kindly advise or help fix asap.

Thanks for the fast response, but I’ve found a way around it. Switching to (WordPress) Twenty-Sixteen and switching back (losing original imported settings) work, but then I’ll have to re-customize.
