Hi,
We liked your theme and bought it. Yesterday i tried to set up with your own datas include in the package. Because we want to change some designs and contents on the pages and use it. Pages designs you showed on demo were very nice.
But we had a problem. We couldnt load the database and took out some problems. We can see the pages and articles and pictures but when we click the main page, we see the download page as main page. We checked the main page settings and it is selected “Home” page.
Now i deleted the all datas and re-load again. But i want help. If you have detailed .xml file for last version of pages and articles, i would like to receive .xml file to import all datas and change the pages and contents and use it.

Best approach is to create a clean, blank WordPress instance and then follow the install guide. It includes instructions on how to add the same demo data used in Factory’s main site.

We recommend adding any custom css within a child theme (one is included in the main Factory zip file) – or by using the Simple CSS plugin.

Factory theme not ofcially WPML compatible and WPML Confguration fle which was promised 6 months ago by author is still missing (scroll down on this page)
Although RTL stylesheet present, it doesn’t seem to be triggered for Arabic.

Each page should have a ‘Show/Hide Page Title’ option at the top. The homepage is set to ‘Hide’.

How do I change the colour of the Page Sidebar Buttons (Download Brochures & View Our Testimonial)? I have changed it in the CSS and I can’t seem to find it anywhere in the CMS.

The theme uses a super-easy page builder plugin called Visual Composer. It’s just a matter of editing a page in WordPress – then click the little pen icon on a shortcode and tweaking the content.

While those pages aren’t really designed to have a slider on them – it is technically possible to add one. Just add a LayerSlider element to the page in Visual Composer
e.g. https://imgur.com/a/AwdGvYou will probably want to hide the page title if you place the slider at the top of the page too.

You just need to update the the theme. The update includes the latest version of Visual Composer which resolves this.

Hi Team, I’ve purchased this theme and working on it currently. I am not able to remove the page title and place the layer slider in place of it, on the home page. On other pages as well, i want to remove all the page title image. Tried inserting the code ’.header-wrapper .overlay { display: none; }’ in the CSS to remove it, but still this was not helpful at all. The latest version of Factory is 1.4 – so you should see this within Appearance > Themes – Factory – if you’ve updated successfully.
If you’re on this version you should now have an option to update Visual Composer within Appearance > Install Plugins – as per the instructions in the link above.

hi there, it looks like theres an issue when viewing the them on safari, the menu items are always highlighted (the bottom line) in both the regular top menu and the sticky menu when you scroll down.
Also, the website seems to be very choppy.
sorry, another issue, the top information bar that says “leading provider” “Number #1” and “certified is positioned incorrectly on safari.

I use Safari as my primary browser and I see no issues in either regard. What version of Safari are you using? If you could visit http://supportdetails.com/ and send on the info to support@commercegurus.com
Note: I presume you’re using Safari on a Mac right? Safari on Windows was discontinued by Apple in 2012 and is no longer supported – it’s well out of date.

I tried updating to the latest update, and I followed instructions from your page, but when I went to try updating visual composer from 4.11.2 -> 4.12, I run into a problem. It shows up in the link “update available” under the install plugins page. But when I click on “Update”, it says “Update package not available.” Any idea why?

I’m not sure why you see that message – the update is definitely there – this sounds like some form of permissions issue with your host. Try completely deactivating and deleting your existing Visual Composer install and then you should be able to cleanly install it.

Hi, Wordpress back end wants a license code for visual composer and layerslider 8also to receive updates). BUT I canÄ’t found any valid license code. The condes in /Licensing do not work.

Despite the notices you don’t need to keys to activate Layerslider or Visual Composer. Updates to these plugins will be provided with theme updates. We’re looking for a way to remove these nag messages – they can be confusing.

Via Appearance > Install Plugins
Disable Layerslider first and then update via that method.

It seems like there are a few bugs with woocommerce. The main one I’m seeing is, I can’t set the Shop page (where the categories are listed) to be full-width. No matter which page template I try to select, it always includes the sidebar. Any ideas why?
