Hi.
We gladly use your theme and it is working fine only we need one thing. On registration we need users to be able to select whether they are candidate or employer.
Is this something that can be accomplished? We use the woocommerce simple registration. We only need one dropdown field that says of you want to register as Employer or Candidate.
Could you please help me with this one?

hi, I bought the theme and installed the demo content, I have selected the classic layout, but I do not see the home page like the demo, in stead it shows a map in place of the top banner, please help. Thanks
i read some forum discussions and discovered that some xml file should have been there to import the home page look and for the widgets , but i think they are missing in the download package, please send me on the reply to the ticket I have already created. Thanks

Unfortunately, Jobify does not have a default option to make the footer only 3 columns. Jobify will allow for 4 columns at this time by default.

Hello there,
How do I set up the paid workflow so that users can add listings to cart then make payment without having to fill in the job form? – Just like the demo. We were able to do this before but seems as if it is no longer possible, one of the updates theme may have changed this.
We are really struggling as our clients usually purchase listings and then post to our site using Broadbean, Jobmate and other multiposting software.
Please help!

Is it possible to use the featured image as a header on certain subpages? I would like the navigation bar to be transparent, so the featured images goes underneath the navigation menu. The title of the page should go on top of the image and the image should have some overlay color.

Answer: You can use the Feature Callout Widget to display an image at the top of your page like a featured image.
Question: I would like the navigation bar to be transparent, so the featured images goes underneath the navigation menu.
Answer:Unfortunately, the theme does not have a setting to make the nav bar transparent. It can be changed with personal custom code.
Question: The title of the page should go on top of the image and the image should have some overlay color.
Answer: You can accomplish this with the Feature Callout Widget.

Hi, as I understand in order to use the feature callout widget on normal subpages, you would have to set the page template to “widgetized” and then I wont be able to use the text editor for setting up normal text content. Is that right?

You can still use it, but the text will display before the feature callout widget. So we can suggest using a text widget and placing all text for that page in the widgets content after the feature callout widget. This will allow you to achieve a page with a header image and normal text content.

Hi, pre-sale question.
I noticed that demo lacks dedicated resume upload or any detailed forms for resumes when applying to jobs. Are there additional options for that in the full purchase, including resume file uploader, or does it require additional third-party plugins?

You can definitely edit the Submission form for your website in order to include resume file uploader. See here: Setting Up Your Forms
Another alternative feature you could look into is the Applications plugin.

Question: 1) can we have a payment at candidate registration option
Answer: Yes you can! You can charge Candidates to post a resume based on the Listing Package you create for them. You can also charge Subscriptions.
Question: 2) does the employer packages have packages for cv views also ?
Answer: No there is no option to hide CV views with the employer package. You can use the Restrict Content Pro Plugin to hide content from users based on Subscription Level.

Just updated to latest version 3.3 and the new getting started setup assistant won’t load Install plugins required drop down, i’ve complete the auto-update setup. I have all the premium add-ons installed and in date. What’s going on..

Hi Fernando. No joy – on video 1m11secs – it won’t drop down to let me install plugins? The auto update token is completed and it says completed. It just won’t drop down the box for Install plugins.. Also i don’t have a setup box, just a getting started on the left hand menu system..
Fernando, worked it out. I was doing a re-install and i already had all of the plugins active through the network. I have deactivated them all on the network and the full options have appeared. Maybe worth adding this to your install instructions for those running network sites and doing a re-install. Thanks

I can’t get the header images to stretch to fullwidth as I see in the demo theme. I have installed the Slider Revolution plugin, and upon entering the shortcode in the page, it does the same thing as if I clicked “Add Media”

Can we multi-theme jobify with other themes like uncode so we can build some aspect of the site with other theme and the job part of the site with jobify?

You cannot run two themes on one site. This is impossible and is not a feature of the WordPress CMS platform.
The solutions are: The first is to have two different installations of WordPress. You can set up a new installation in a sub-directory. This will leave you with two different systems, and you will need to log into each one separately.
The second is you can look at creating a network of sites. This is a bit more complicated but it will let you administer two (or more) sites from one central area. Using WordPress Multisite http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

Answer: Jobify will not break and has no limit to the number of users Resumes are uploaded.

That might require customization. Since Jobify is meant to be a job board theme. I would suggest you check out our Listify theme. It seems more suitable for the website you are trying to replicate.

I’m trying to understand the ‘sign up’-register menu. Where are these emails being stored and how would I communicate, as a company, with those that sign up. Or better yet, that they’re registered was successful? I’m trying to understand how I would go about targeting this list of newly registered users. e.g, to send a welcome email after registering.
Hi, I’m interested in buying this theme but one thing I need as a plugin or within the theme, is an option for when someone applys for a gp (it’s bank staff) they will receive details of the job via text, but before they get the text, it will need to be edited. So it’s like a push notification text with a middle man.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, there is no plugin that we have tried that provides a Text Notification feature. A lot of the plugins compatible with Jobify are Wp Job Manager Add-ons. Right now the WP Job Manager plugin does not have any Text Notification Addons available.
The feature might still be available to be integrated with our theme, but it might need some custom modification to make it work.

In regards to the candidate’s find a job view and employers candidate view is it possible to display these pages in a larger grid-like style like they are on the homepage? The expanded view/images look really nice and I’d like to carry that over to these pages as well.
Typically lists have grid/list view and I am wondering if it’s available.
