I am having an issue where our website is not showing the padlock as secure with our SSL certificate due to the Google Maps API not being present.

honestly, I am not really sure in this case. Buying 300 licenses looks obviously as an overkill, but It seems you are after a very specific use case where a regular license may not be enough (but maybe it is). Better get in touch with Envato Help, as they are in charge when it comes to licenses. Also, take a look at license FAQ.

you just pay once. But one license is just for one project (web site / domain). I am not sure if by “300 web pages” you mean 300 different sites / domains or just 300 various pages of a single site / domain. One site can have as many pages as you want. Please read more about licensing here.

BTW, you are not supposed to edit this file (or any other file in theme’s folder) directly. If you need change some CSS, overwrite it via child theme.
It appears the latest Redux Framework breaks the theme settings. Colors changed and things stopped functioning as normal. 3.6.2 I believe was the update. I’m restoring a backup now.
Perhaps you should disable Redux Framework from appearing as an update when they push if the theme isn’t ready for the latest. Just a suggestion as some people use automated engines to update their themes / plugins.

It also appears that the “Theme Options” have disappeared after updating.
Try to deactivate and remove Redux altogether and install it again. Again, it works for me so something probably went wrong when you updated it.

I’m having trouble translating some parts of the theme. Those parts are:
The “MAP” button on the top of the page, i’d like to change that text from MAP to MAPA (portuguese).
I managed to translate the title of the news section that appears in the center of the page “TownPress News”, however i couldn’t translate the text that appears when there are no news, the “No Posts” text.
I also manged to translate everything in the search function, except the upper part where it shows “Home / Search Results”. I’d like to translate the “Search Results” text to Portuguese too but I can’t find the file that generates that text.

all translations should be done via .po / .mo files. You can use a 3rd party plugin like Loco Translate as well.

Hi, When trying to do a copy of my townpress city wordpress site on final host, I got an issue. I copied all the files with ftp method. I changed database to match with new database settings but only 3 default sidebars appear. Others are missing. Is it a simple way to copy special sidebars too ? Thank’s in advance

Well, I assume the missing sidebars are all the custom sidebars created under Theme Options / Sidebars, right? Those sidebars are created dynamically, so I am not really sure if it is even possible to import them like that.
The search results are not showing all excerpts. If there are 8 results, it will only show 1 excerpt with no way to see the other 7.

Hello,
I have set up your theme, most of it looks good, however I have two problems:
1. For the “Front Page #2” design, none of the categories/articles under the rotating header image appears to be working. I have pages that are categorized under those specific categories, but on the actual page it just lists each category and says “No Posts” under each one. Also, the links to each category just link back to the main site, though if I go to the actual URL for the communities, they all appear to be working fine.
2. For the locale/weather information, I was able to get everything working, however the temperature displays as “negative”. For instance, if the temperature is 78 degrees fahrenheit, it will display as “-78 fahrenheit” in the list.
Other than that, everything is working very well. Any help?

1. Sorry, I meant to say posts. I have at least one post that is categorized as “Community”. If I click on “Community” in the blue menu at the top-left, I can see the post on the Community category page. However it does not show up in the category list under the Slider (and also, clicking on community under the Slider does nothing, just goes back to the homepage).
2. Yeah, I saw that suggested somewhere else. I tried that a few times, but no luck. If I change from Imperial to Metric, that changes the temperature, but either way both say the temperature is “negative”.

1.) Try to re-select that category in that Articles element under slider. If you haven’t touched it since demo import, then it is pointing to the demo category which may have the same name as yours, but it has very likely different ID so it s treated as different category
2.) Try to switch your weather location to something generic like New York City and then clear the cache to see how it will respond to that. Feel free to share your URL, I can take a look at it
Boom, got the first one! It looks like it was indeed referencing some default categories that just had the same name. Went in and manually changed the category numbers it was referencing and that fixed it. Thanks!

Still no luck here unfortunately for part 2. I’ll continue trying to clear the cache and see if that does anything.
Another question: Is there a way to change the justification of the text on a slider (i.e. move it to the right or left)?

Hi, sorry, I see that the Slider is not determined by the TownPress theme, my bad. I figured that out, just had to change some shortcode around.
Yeah, I tried setting the location to “orlando,fl,us”, set the update time to “0”, saved it, refreshed the page a few times (no change) and let it sit that way for about an hour. Refreshed the page again (no change), then set it to the correct location and set the timer back to 60 minutes. Saved, refreshed, no change. Waited about an hour, refreshed again, still no change.
It also looks like when I changed the location to the generic one, it never accepted it, because the temperature still stayed at “-78 degrees F”, no matter which location it was set to.
Ok, I think I got it! I had set the latitude/longitude at some point in the beginning (because the weather wasn’t showing up at all). I removed those values, and now everything looks to be working!

I purchased the theme yesterday and have tried uploading via FTP and also via the WP dashboard. Both times, it’s generating multiple lines of error code appearing to relate to the Redux plugin. Here is an example of some of the lines of error code:

make sure you are running PHP 5.4 or higher, latest version of WP and Redux plugin. Have you installed the theme on clean WP installation or have you used another theme there before?
