It’s a great theme and I love it, just getting a major issue in setting an image as my logo. I have followed your instructions, but it doesn’t pick up what’s inside theme settings and instead just makes the site title a logo. Plz help!

We have just fixed the logo issue and released an update of the theme. Please, download the latest version from Themeforest. Find modesto.zip archive in “THEME IN THAT FOLDER !” directory and upload unzipped “modesto” folder via FTP to wp-content/themes replacing the old files.
After this update you will have automated update option, so next time you will be able to update via admin dashboard.

Thanks so much for fixing the issue Crumina guys. It’s just a great theme and developed really well. I am having fun using it, just one thing that I don’t like and want to change is – when I hover the mouse on most links/main menus on many pages, it crosses over the main text, which gives a feeling of unavailability. I couldn’t find any option to change it. Could you please tell me how to change/remove that effect????

In order to remove that hover effect, please, install the child theme and add the CSS code below into style.css file.
.mouseover-simple:after, .mouseover-simple:before{display:none;}
The child theme archive is located in the theme package. Simply install it and activate as a regular theme.

Yes, of course, you can have all home variations on your site and use them as regular pages. They are actually created as regular pages on our demo site. So when you import demo data, you will get all of them.

All demo data is imported in a few mouse clicks. You get the same copy as on the demo site, but without images, since they are copyright protected.

Some themes allow multiple imports, for example I may like About page of one demo, and Contact page of another..
Also, can we change the fonts extensively from the Theme Options?
Yes, we know there is such practice if the theme has a lot of layouts. But Modesto is a relatively small theme. All its pages are represented in the menu and all of them are imported together at once.
At the moment you can change font family for body and headings for individual pages. Extensive typography options are not available at the moment. But we will try to add this feature in the nearest time.
Really look forward to buying this theme in the future.. And I really loved the way you replied back to my queries..

I like this theme a lot, but I believe it lacks from a Blog-oriented features.. or maybe I cannot find the Typography demo page? I would love to see how it performs with great blog posts, with buttons, bars, quotes, dropcaps, images alignments etc etc… can you please prepare one? it’d help a lot!

Modesto is a more portfolio oriented theme. All blog features are represented on the blog pages and single posts, that you can see under Blog menu. You can use any visual builder shortcodes in blog pages and single posts.
We will try to add a Typography page in the nearest time. But here is a screenshot how text elements look with the default demo data https://d.pr/11KRy .
