Hello, should the revo slider that comes with the theme work on php7? When I click configure i get only super long blue table with php 7 information instead of configure tab. Should it work on php 7 or do I have some other problem?

Hi, I cannot see anymore “Category Tree” inside Mega Menu Editor after upgrading from 3.6.x to 3.8.2. Altready tried to deactivate and activate module. All other features work as before, but category tree is not editable (box is empty). Any ideas what happened, please? I tried to upload again module, but nothing changed.

When I try to import settings I get this error:

Hi, is it possible to show layered navigation filters in front-end as they appear in the back-end?

In PS 1.6.1.4 you can drag-and-drop filters and order them by position, no matter the ID. For example, in the back-end a filter “ALPHA” with ID=1 can be placed in POSITION=3, but in front-end the filter still appears in position 1, not in position 3 (as set in the back-end)...

Is this a PS or a Warehouse bug? Thanks for your kind help!

Prestashop 1.7 informations

I receive questions from customers about prestashop 1.7 which is still in developmant and realase date it still unknown. I would like to share with you some of my thoughts and plans.

1. There is no stable realase of ps 1.7 yet. Even if Prestashop dev realase version named stable, you should really not consider is as stable,  since it is major software upgrade with lot of changes included

2. Prestashop 1.7 have no backward compability with old version. Entire theme will be rewriten from scratch. A lot of modules will be also rewriten from scratch ( I already started to work on that). I will also rethink many aspect of theme and you can expect new features and general improvmants, but I have no more info about that at the moment. 

What it means? That there will be no easy update from 1.6 to 1.7. It means that it will be needed to remove and uninstall current iqit modules and install theme again in version for ps 1.7. It will be possible to export iqitmegamenu tabs and import in ps 1.7 version but you will need at least 3.8.2 theme version on ps 1.6 for that. Also other 3-part modules you currently use in prestsahop will be not compatible, you will need to update them

3. When stable version will be published, I think will be need at least two months for Warehouse for ps 1.7

4 Tip for all ps 1.6 merchants: Since We do no know when it will be realased stable and there is no backward compabilty, you should currently focus on ps 1.6. Update ps and theme to latest version(of 1.6 branch) and wait some time till everthing will calm down. So do not think about moving to prestashop 1.7 earlier than next year since it will be hard to you to get you stable and working shop before christmas season.

5.Once it will calm down I think it will be worth to upgrade since ps 1.7 looks promissing and there will be also great improvmants in theme. But you must be aware that migration from ps 1.6 to 1.7 will be not easy, it will be probably harder than migration from ps 1.5 to 1.6.
