Hi! Can I sort articles by category and display different categories on the homepage? because this template you made only display the latest articles
Hi there Andy Liao,
Yes, you can!
We are using a widgetized page for homepage at our demo. For widgetized pages, Mono includes custom widgets and you sure can achieve the same using them.
Here’s a screenshot of how our Posts widget at widgetized homepage can be customized - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PTpmm1uxZU4m8b_A63l-dCYrrTh0BNv-/view?usp=sharingHave a good day
Hello guys. I really like the theme but I’m not quite sure how the widget section works. Is there a way for a trial?
Hi there,
I’m afraid there is no trial but we’ve handy instructions here at https://docs.codestag.com/article/448-the-widgetized-homepage
Its as easy as creating/inserting a shortcode and then putting the widgets in its place.
Let me know if you still need additional details. Thanks.
Hi. A pre-sale question. Would it be possible to add more categories to the home page? Or is what’s shown in the demo, the set number?
Hello,
You sure can add more, there is no soft limit on it.
Let us know if you have any more questions. Thanks.
Hello, pre-sales question: is the theme fully compatible with the current wordpress version? The last update is 17 august 2017
Hi there,

Hi, pre-sale question: on “Mono” there is any way to remove the information “SHOWING ALL POSTS IN CATEGORY: Lifestyle”? I would like a home grid like that but only with menus and header.
Hi, I would like to know if the theme have demo content.
Hello,
Yes, the demo content is available through the documentations once you purchase the theme.
Let us know if you have any more questions. Thanks.

Hi there, sure, no problem. Thanks for promoting our theme
Hi, is there a way to insert a logo without the Jetpack Plugin. I dont like this Plugin.
Hi there. For support requests please use our support desk at http://codestag.com/support where we handle and properly monitor all support for our themes.
Why not Jetpack? I’m afraid it is required. Feel free to submit a ticket and you can have a word with my partner and developer Ram. Perhaps he has a workaround.
Thanks.
Hei, guys! I like your theme a lot. I have a media project in which I’ll involve more contributors and wanna show their faces (like in your other theme Ink). So, is Mono suitable for this? Showing gravatars, or maybe a dedicated widget like in Ink. Thanks and all the best in the New Year!
Hi there,
Thanks for your interest in one of our themes.
Mono doesn’t offer the specified widget similar to Ink. However, there are plugins available which you can make use of to achieve what you’re looking for.
Here’s a list of example plugins you can make use of: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=contributors
Thanks.
Hi. I have installed the theme and follow every step but I can´t find the way to copy the blog page as the demo. When I widgetized the page, the text is aligned to the left with no space. (https://postimg.org/image/8ld4e93r7/) It happens on every page. How can I align the text as the demo? Thank you.
Hey!
Thanks for purchasing one of our files, we truly appreciate it!
Support for all our themes is conducted through our support site, please start a new thread over there and we will help you as soon as possible.
Also, is there anyway I can (easily- maybe with a plugin) add a search field to the menu? Thanks
There is not a built in way for this, but you can surely try out a plugin, yes.
Hi, I’ve followed the instructions regarding the author page – I’ve updated my user profile accordingly. But I still need to know the URL for it, don’t I? Do you know what it is? Or do I need to create a page for it? Not sure how it works. Many thanks.
Hi there. The author page is automatically generated by WordPress, you can easily click on the author name at the post meta, and you should land on the author page url.
Thanks
Got it. Thank you.
Can I add an infinite scroll in your theme?
Hi, this will require some minor customization as it is not built in. Thanks!
Do you have any documentation to recreate the demo pages? I have read the basic documentation, I’m specifically looking for demo content set up. Thank you!
Hello,
Please take a look at this documentation on setting up the pages: http://docs.codestag.com/category/439-setting-up-the-pages
Thanks.
I looked at all the documentation. It does not discuss the demo content. Is there anyway to import demo content, or to recreate it?
Hi there
You can easily import the xml file by grabbing it from here: http://docs.codestag.com/article/75-importing-dummy-data
For further assistance kindly use our support desk at http://codestag.com/support and we will gladly help!
Thanks! John
Can the widgets also be used to host ads?
Hi, sure. You can add the ad code into html/text widgets or inside the widgets that pull content from static pages. It depends on how you plan to do it. There are also many plugins out there that do the job well.
Nice theme, GLWS!
thank you
Nice work done, Good Luck
Thanks!
Nice Theme, Good Luck!
thank you!
Just wanted to say that I love your themes. I still enjoy Om. And unlike the rest of the commenters, I actually mean what I say.
Good to hear this !
Nice! Curious, any way to see screenshots of how the backend of pages looks to build/edit and is it possible for parallax and animations to work on mobile view?
Hi there, backend shows exactly as at every WordPress site, all settings are built in the customizer. The building of pages has a native approach as well, as it relies on widgets.
You can have a look at the online documentation to see how things work in detail: http://docs.codestag.com/collection/434-monoThanks for your comment!
