Please reactivate the Kepler theme. You will see a message and link for install a required plugin at the top of admin page.

If you have the same issue in the future, You can get all plugin files from theme folder at ‘themes/kepler/plugins’.
Hello, So sorry to bother you, just a quick question. Is there a way I can display a specific author or a shortcode that selects only one author. Something like [authors] but for a single person. I like “The Team” page but after importing the Demo file, I don’t see it like on the preview. How can I make a single author to have a quote and a profile picture. And my site for the first couple of months will use only one author but there will be two admins. So the [authors] shortcode doesn’t work for me.

I want to buy the Kepler template but I have some questions first:
1. I want to buy the template with the extended support for 12 months but what does this support include – as far as I see you do not offer support as far as personalisation goes (changing colours, etc.) and do you offer support in case a bug happens with the template?
2. If a new version of Wordpress goes out will the template be updated and how will I get the appropriate version so that the site does not crash?
3. When the 12 month period of support ends will I be able to extend the support for more and what will the fee be? And if I do not buy the extended support after these 12 months will the site be updatable with new versions of Wordpress?
4. MOST IMPORTANT for me – the site will be used exclusively for photography portfolio – the pictures will be in high resolution – how will you help me with suggestion to make the site with hi-res pictures and still be light enough to load fast?

1. I provide support for bug of theme and theme usage but not including plugin compatibility issue and theme customization. BTW, A little modification via css are welcome
2. We can’t guaratee it will not have a problem at all but I keep checking with a new wordpress version and release a fix if there is a problem as soon as possible. If you cencern about new wordpress version compatibility, You can backup first or ask me before upgrading.
3. Yes you can purchase an additional extend support with the same price (the price may little increased in the future depends on Envato’s standard pricing). In case you don’t buy an extended support, You can still use the theme and can upgrade the wordpress and you still get an update of theme.
4. Just reduce the resolution of photos before uploading to wordpress. The demo site is using resolution at 1920×1080 pixels.

I am using KEPLER and like it so far. Images whether in portfolios, galleries or Blog posts all have a Magnifying Glass icon and Link icon. I’d like to be able to choose one or the other based on my needs and remove the other one. Can you tell me how to do that?

You can use a custom CSS to disable it. Please copy a custom css from the below

Then navigate to ‘Theme Options > Custom CSS/JS’ and paste into ‘Custom CSS’ option.
Brilliant, that worked fine but now when I’m in a gallery can I remove the Link Icon just within the gallery or is it site wide. I’d like to have the just the link icon active on the pages of the site but have just the magnify icon available within a gallery.

You can use the Simple Page Composer for both a single page and homepage. Just add “Post Slider” section into the composer for showing a posts in slider. Or add “Gallery” section for showing an images from selected gallery
Also, Please make sure you’re using the latest theme version. There is some improvement on version 1.1.1. You can check the online documentation at http://envirra.com/themes/kepler/document/

Thanks for your help I have created a gallery which I would like to show on one of my pages so I have created a single page composer and added the ‘gallery’ field however when i search for the gallery i created in ‘gallery’ box it doesn’t appear. Can you please advise why this may be the case?

1. This issue is already fixed in v1.1.1. If the problem still persists, Please press CTRL+R while on the page composer editor and check again.
2. I’m using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/ninja-forms/ and insert it by using shortcode provided in by the plugin . Example [ninja_forms id=1]

I’m having a problem with the theme. Doesn’t matter how much I try, the option “Choose the gallery to be shown” never triggers any galery that I had previously created. I read the entire step by step tutorial that you provided but that information was nowhere to be found. Am I doing something wrong ?
Also I bought this theme because it fits 90% of my needs, including the amazing photo proofing section, but I was hoping to be able to use a third part plugin to display images. But when I install it, it simply stop displaying my images. Is it a problem with the plugin or the theme is not plugin friendly ?

So the plugin i’m trying to use is called Fotorama.
this is the test page that I tried applying the plugin:
http://gustavochams.com/blablabla/ as you can see it makes my galery disappear.I would like to display my portfolio using a responsive slider, where could be display single photos on 70% of the page or so. were the keyboard keys are functional for the transitioning, also responsive for touch, and where no black background is shown. Unfortunatelly the slider on the theme I purchase seems to lack some of this functionalities such as the touch screen, or the option to be static and responsive to the keyboard as fotorama

Hi, it seems to be impossible to have a “post slider” and a “post box” item on the same page (homepage). I liked the layout of the demo version and tried to recreate it but these two sections seem to cancel each other out – it will only show the one that comes first. for the other one I can only see a tite but now grid/overview. Is this an actual error or am I doing something wrong? How else can I create a slider as well as an overview over some blogposts?
