Regarding your questions:

1) Vs 3 is not a slider, is all built with visual composer rows and modules. Go to menu wp -> pages and edit the page homepage-version-3.

2) This is normally related to low PHP upload size and PHP memory limit. You can ask to your server provider to increase this limits.
