Just curious to know whether we need to update the Visual Composer and Slider Revolution? I know these are packaged with the theme, but Wordpress says that they need updates. I just don’t want to do it if it’s significant to the operation of the theme. Can you please confirm?
Visual Composer is currently 4.11.2.1 and is up to 4.12
Slider Revolution is currently 5.2.5 and is up to 5.2.5.4

Please can you help me, I have had the theme a while but only just noticed that above my main menu it says ‘Add a Menu’ in really feint text, how can I set this so I only get my main menu and not the added menu? thanks
Also I would like to be able to contain all of the google fonts from googleapi into the one code line. Don’t know where to put this (and from where to remove it should I need to do that too).

I have a problem with the menus. The sub-menu of an item in the menu aligns to the top of the main menu and not the sub-menu item.
www.test.virides.com.au (see in Products). The “Name Plates” sub-menu aligns to the top of the drop menu, not the “Name Plates” part.
How do I fix this?
I can see that there is CSS code for this, but I am not sure of what to change to affect this, so could you please advise.
The only thing I can seem to do is set the Top property to 50px or similar, but I don’t know how to make the sub menu relative to the position of the menu item parent.
So would like to be able to do that rather than this rough work around.
Also the only other way is to mess around with the order of the menu items to ensure atleast part of the menu is easily accessible, but once again this is not the preferred option.

I have tried looking into a CSS change but not successful so far. I would have thought there would have been a setting in the customisation section, but nothing there.
Also I can’t seem to be able to change the background of the pages from the white to another colour. This is the background colour of the pages themselves. How do I do that? Or is this only a CSS function?

New Problem
No matter how many times I delete the theme from my ftp to then reinstall it, the customise tab keeps some details through. So for instance tool bars are missing from previous editing or that the top menu won’t drop below the logo and the logo won’t center either.
It’s like the theme keeps linking to other files in another location. Where is the location of these files so I can properly reinstall the theme so I can start from fresh again?
Also I fixed the first part of the initial question:
Using this css: display: flex; justify-content: center; align-items: center;
I even tried doing a full reinstall of Wordpress and the theme still doesn’t respond properly anymore. It’s back to not centering the logo anymore. The header toolbar also misbehaves by not disappearing (it will just say “Add a menu”). I have to add a new menu with no content and tell it to show on the Header Toolbar, however this makes it disappear from the preview.
It’s like as if the theme has a bug although I am installing direct from the original file which I originally installed from. So not sure how it would change.

I had a header file in the child theme which was obviously confusing the theme. I have this one of my other installs, but obviously it is specific to that website.
I removed the header file from the child theme and it works now 
Still would like to know how to change the background colour properly?

Glad you sort it out
To change a page background color you must (as you said) target it individually with css. Look in the body tag of each page to find it’s unique class, must be something like this “page-id-1753” and then target it in css.

Ok, the problem was that WPML was activated but not configured (i mean there wasn’t any language available) – i just activated an extra language (besides the default english one) and everything is fine now.

Poor speed test. When I test the site for speed, the results are really bad. The results for your theme is 21 out of 100 for mobile and 27 out of 100 for desktop. I was able to improve my results for my sit but still it’s not that great. Do you have a solution for these problems? Both in your demo and once I installed your theme (see http://forum.concorsiletterari.net/forums/) it shows register and lost password links. Both are linked to a wrong URL which is linked to your website domain. What are the correct URL I should put in order to let the user registers by himself?

I am reviewing your theme and have a quick question – there is mention of a Progress Bar and Pie Chart – are those to be visible on main pages only or is there a way to use these under member profiles that only the member and admin can see? Looking for a way to enter in goals and have them tracked but not public. Thanks!
Another question – there is a “settings” symbol that floats on the left as you scroll. On a mobile device it is kind of in the way, can this be turned off for users? Thanks!!

Thanks for your interest in this theme. Those elements (Progress Bar & Pie Chart) are part of Visual Composer plugin (which is embedded in the theme) and can be used on any page/post that has a content editor, but if you need them in member profiles i’m afraid you cannot use them without developing custom code.
Regarding the “Settings” floating icon, that’s just on my preview for users to see the capabilities of the theme, it is not be included in the theme so don’t worry about that.

I am having a problem with Visual Composer.
Last night I was building a new page to add to my live site (I am using a test domain, so I can deal with things like this).
I put in a new row and used the text block, then split it into 3 columns. Each with their own text. Last night it looked fine, there were 3 blocks of text (actually is html for formatting). I then applied CSS to move the margins on the elements so I could customise spacing etc.
Today I noticed that I needed to update part of it with another line of text. I did this to each of the 3 and now when I update it, no matter what I do there will be a block at the top, then below will be the next and next to it is the 3rd. In visual composer it is shown as 3 across, but when refreshing the page, it is shown as one.
I turned off the CSS I made for it and it still persists. I have inspected the elements and can’t find any CSS that is affecting them in that way.
The only change I made to the core of the page was updating a 3-4 plugins, but I can’t see how it will only affect this single element.
Also I notice that the Row/Column UI has shifted down on the elements when in the Front End editor for Visual Composer, almost like there is a bug – but only since last night.

I may have found the problem, but I don’t know how to fix it exactly or how it even happened.
On my other pages, when I am logged into the admin, I can see “Edit with Visual Composer” at the bottom of the page (just above the footer) and it’s contained in the center container. But on the stockists page (what I am working on), it is at the bottom left of the container near the edge of my screen.
I have no idea how it got over there, and the only way I think I can fix this is to delete the page and start over, but this isn’t ideal as it would be better to know why.
There seems to be a limitation of how much custom html you can insert. I used both the Text Block and Raw HTML elements, both of which had a problem.
I have narrowed it down to what seems to be a problem with including links in the HTML. Strangely last night it was fine.
So either it is something to do with a plugin or something else?

There were syntax errors in my HTML, a rogue which was messing it up.

The theme does not have a MegaMenu built in but you can use a plugin for that. For example this one: Max Mega Menu (https://wordpress.org/plugins/megamenu/)
