Hi, thanks for the update, I was looking forward to some the navigation fixes I mentioned last year, to make it easier for the user.
Click on any menu item on limitless hereThere’s an issue with the navigation, with the menu loosing the menu user selected context when the menu is long. For e.g. when the user clicks on a page from the menu – the menu reset/scrolls back and, context is lost, specially when the menu item is further below on the menu list.
Can you please show a fix for this to keep the top and left navigation sticky/fixed, (show us how to keep the context on the left and top fixed) – i.e. ensure that the menu item (left context clicked/selected item) stays fixed and does not scroll past the page, and only scroll to the inner content. Also is there a way to keep the menu/header sticky/fixed when then page scrolls (but becomes a little transparent, to let the user know he has scrolled down).

I honestly don’t understand the issue you described. Each layout has fixed sidebar and navbar options, but it doesn’t have any scrolling options, that scrolls the menu or page to currently selected menu item, i would consider it as a custom functionality, especially that one with fading navigation. Simple scrolling in fixed sidebar with native scrollbar can be easily implemented with a bit of jQuery, which will calculate top offset and jump to that item on page load. But i’m not sure if that will work out this way with custom scrollbar.

The menus on the left keep jumping, this is would fix that. And on the top, if we keep the menu sticky its fairly simple, I think it should be included in the pacakge http://blog.teamtreehouse.com/create-sticky-navigation

Hi, I looked at it, its not working please see again – for e.g if you click on any link on those pages, the menu is not fixed/sticky.

This layout already exists and it’s optional, not default – on this page only. When you click on any link in nav on that page, layout will be different (default, not sticky). You can use this layout as a base layout for your project, additionally add fixed footer from this layout option.

sorry its different. I am talking about the fixed nav (stops working after you click on any menu item)
let me explain again, yes the fixed top nav works when user first goes to the page and scroll. But as soon as a user clicks on any menu item in the left and then he tries to scroll the the menu does not stick anymore, it is reset or lost.
can we get this to work in the material admin 2 & 5 version where the menu on the top stays sticky.

Let me explain again too 
By default, sidebar and navbar are not fixed and scroll along with content. But there is an option to make both sidebar and navbar fixed just by adding necessary classes to sidebar, navbar and body:
<body class="navbar-top">
<div class="navbar navbar-inverse navbar-fixed-top">
...
</div>
<div class="sidebar sidebar-main sidebar-fixed">
...
</div>
If you apply these classes to your layout, all of your pages will have them fixed.
In the template only 1 page has this layout – this one, if you click any link in sidebar nav on this page, you’ll be redirected to the page with default layout, which doesn’t have those components fixed.
In layout #5 you need to add .navbar-top class to body and .navbar-fixed-top to main navbar to make them fixed.

Yeah, i noticed it when the package was already uploaded. I’ve quickly went through the files, should not be very difficult to update, but some styles have been changed. I’ll look into it in a week and push a quick update along with new version of daterangepicker and sliders.

I just want to say thank you for the release. I know it took a long time and is a lot of work and then you have annoying people like my harassing you. You do great work and it is a great theme. Thank you for your efforts. Hopefully in the future, maybe smaller releases to keep people like me happy and more people can see your updated theme. It is a winner! I am looking forward to seeing the update with the Statistics Widgets. The content widgets was probably my favorite part of this release. The stats one will be a dream for me.

Hi, one of the things I am looking for that I thought I saw was supposed to be in this update were features for images/gallery/image sliders/carousels. Perhaps I am missing it, but are they in here anywhere?

I was considering new “portfolio” grids, but they already exist in image gallery and thumbnails. Image sliders – i don’t think it’s a “must have” component in admin template. Bootstrap does have it by default, but i didn’t change any styles.

Unfortunately no, offcanvas menu requires quite a lot of changes in template structure, moved to 2.0 version, as well as Bootstrap 4 and Sass versions.

Здравствуйте, При адаптации Вашего пакета Limitless у меня возникла проблема. Как сделать так, чтобы при нажатии пункта в меню и переходе на другую страницу соотвествующий пункт меню подсвечивался бы и был бы не свернутым, как это происходит у Вас в примерах? Перепробовал подключение многих js файлов но так и не помогло.

Существующий код находится в assets/js/core/app.js – по сути он добавляет .active класс при нажатии на пункт меню, также добавляет его ко всем родителям. Ищите его по запросу .navigation-main.

Файл /js/core/app.js у меня прикреплен в заголовке и при загрузке у меня подсвечивается выбранный пункт меню, однако когда страница перегружается – все элементы меню сворачиваются и соотвественно выбранный пункт не виден. Подскажите пожалуйста, как исправить мне код? К сожалению не знаю как здесь прикрепить файл с кодом.

Hi Kopyov. Im interested in purchasing your responsive web kit but I have some questions around the license and extended license. The project will be developed through work using your web kit for web application styling, layout, css and then delivered to several clients so the extended license will certainly be needed. My question really is that when the app is developed it will be slightly customised per each client but essentially still be one product, do i need a new extended license for each new client that the app is delivered too? Or am i ok with a one off extended license?

@JCornett, not sure when you bought this theme, but some of us have been waiting close to a year for this update. It sounds like it may be close, but I thought that 3 months ago too.
I noticed something odd in the sidebar menus. If you go to the index.html page of Layout #1 (LTR) the Dashboard menu option gets highlighted because your standing there. Now select any other menu category that belongs to the same root such as “Page Layouts”and you’ll see it gets highlighted too without clearing the Dashboard item.
Please let me know if there’s a way to have only one highlighted menu item at one time.
