We think that your WordPress memory limit and upload time are too low and because of it you have this issue. Could you please try to increase these values or ask your hosting service to do it for you.
max_execution_time = 300 memory_limit = 128M upload_max_filesize = 128M post_max_size = 256M

So I have to overwrite the Theme Folder via FTP each time I do an update? How come it’s not setup for updating within the WP Admin Panel? How about if I use the Envato Toolkit Plugin? Okay, FTP is fine. Another question, my Logo is longer in length, I assume there’s wiggle room for me to expand to display my logo in the upper left corner, correct? Your box logo in the demo is rather small. Just making sure. Thanks.

The header in the demo is put to be inside of the grid. If you disable that option, your logo will go to the left, and you will get more space for your bigger logo.

For logo insertion, I noticed the theme doesn’t display the logo in it’s actual size. Even when I disable the grid box feature, it appears to reduce my original logo size. So as of right now, to have it display the logo size that I want to see on the top header, I had to upload a logo size of 800 px in width. You know what I mean? Ideally I rather upload a logo size of 350 px and see it display with that actual size.

Logo will be resized because of responsiveness, and in order to have sharp logo on retina screens, but even if you want to upload smaller logo, we can prepare custom css code in order to increase it. Hi, I just purchased the theme and am enjoying it so far. Is there a way to make the homepage 1000px width, but then post pages wider (eg 1300px)? I’m trying to achieve something similar to The New York Times (nytimes.com) where the homepage is 1000px but article pages are wider.
Also, when displaying posts on my homepage, is there a way to have a Visual Composer element that shows a post’s featured image, title, author, and excerpt? Of all the layout options, I don’t see any that offer all four options. Is there a way to fix this?
3. How can I turn off the hover animation (black square shadow) from post images in an Edge 2 Block. I just want the images to be static on my homepage and not have animation when you hover over them. Thanks!
4. I see the option in Edge Options to hide Author email address on posts. However, on the author page (eg website.com/author/stone) it shows my email address. How can I make my email private or be able to edit the author page to remove it?

The same goes for the Revolution slider, and the only way for you to download the templates is by buying the full licence. However, you can always use our demo sliders and make the customization from there.
The Stay connected and the Latest news are the titles of the widgets, inside Appearance/Widgets section of the admin panel, where the desire widgets are added.
These social bars are created by using the AccessPress Social Counter widget.

1. The content of the footer is set inside the Appearance/Widgets under the designated Footer Widget areas.
2. Could you please be more specific about this question, because we are not sure what are you trying to achieve?
3. Unfortunately there is no default option for you to edit the shadows of the elements.

You just need to follow the instructions below in order to update the theme and Visual Composer to latest version included with the theme.
1. Theme update

I’ve updated visual composer and now it doesn’t work – I asked them and they said: The issue is because the older visual composer was modified by the theme author by customizing the existing elements and adding the new one’s. Now when you updated it, the customization made by the theme author was lost which causes the issue. You can check it with the theme author if there is any way to preserve the customization done by him with the latest version, so that such an issue can be avoided at your end.
Any advice?

After you have installed the theme, you need to import the theme demo content like described in the following link http://magazinevibe.edge-themes.com/magazine-documentation/#!/getting_started_importing_demo_content and then go to Settings/Reading and there set the Newspaper page as your homepage.
When it comes to creating the menus in the same way like on our demo website, please submit a ticket to https://edge.ticksy.com/ and one of our support agents will provide you with the instructions on how to get the same menu layout.
