How do we change the URL for book appointment in the header?
Changing it in the ” contact and social” area does change, it, but not for the top header ( where the email, social, map etc are located)
Currently it goes to
http://book%20appointment/Any ideas on how to change this?

The booking option in the top header displays links as is without a title. In the field for the Top Header Information you need to paste the link not a title.
So as an example..
How would I inset a link that says ” Book appointment’ in the header, that has a link value of ” www.google.ca”?

Yes adding a direct link like that should work.
How do I go about doing this? Ie, I put in a ( example)

into that field.. but it shows entire link.

When you say it doesn’t install properly, do you mean it’s missing images? Please remember that images are not included, placeholder images will be imported instead.

How do I create a new mega menu? I accidentally deleted the one that came with theme, and while my primary menu works as individual drop downs, I’d much rather use a mega menu
Any advice on how to get that functionality back? Or do I have to restart the site?

There is a section in the theme documentation, found in the main download package, called How to set-up Mega Menu that explains this with some screenshots. You should check that out because it maybe difficult to explain this here.

I have another quick question?
I’m doing this for a dental client, and we want two separate sets of team members. One with Dr.s and one with the team itself.
Is there a way to either add a second set of staff members, or make a list of 10-12 members and split that into sections?

Sounds like you are looking for team member categories. This currently isn’t in the theme but I can add it in the next update. That should be finished this weekend or early next week.

The item details says they have, but I can only seem to find service, gallery and link categories. ( Team members still says ” Team members and add new “

You need to update both the theme and the Dental Care CPT plugin to 3.5. After that you should see Team Member categories.
Thanks. I updated, but can’t seem to make one page for just dr,s. one for assistants, one for markeiting etc
I assigned each one a category, but it still wont add them as separate pages.

After placing your team members in categories you need to use the Team Members widget in Visual Composer to choose which category you need to display.

Modals were not specifically implemented with this theme but the plugin Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer, bundled with the theme, adds modal support. You can see a preview of that here https://ultimate.brainstormforce.com/modal/. However the look of it is not exactly like what is linked there. So if that look is important to you that theme maybe better for you.

In the team grid page when i hover over the images the image turns blue but if i click it, it doesnt take me to the team member page, i have to click the team member name which isnt particularly obvious. Can this be changed?

It sounds like you did not enter any social links for the team member. If you did it should look like this page http://strongholdthemes.com/demos/dentalcare/demo1/team-grid/
If you don’t wish to show social links you can use the Team Members widget in Visual Composer then set Enable Social to Off and Enable Team Links to On.

Did you turn on Visual Composer for custom post types? There is a section in the theme documentation, found in the main download package, called How to enable Visual Composer for additional post types that explains this with a screenshot.

I’m having difficulty with contact form 7 with this theme. It sends emails, but we’re not receiving them. I have several wordpress sites and all of them seem fine with contact form 7. Is there a problem with CF7 and this theme or is there a setting off somewhere within my dashboard I’m not aware of?

No the theme does not modify the functionality of Contact Form 7 in any way, it only adds custom styling to 2 contact forms included in the in the demo import.
You should check the contact form settings by clicking Contact from the dashboard then click the Mail tab. Also make sure you copy the mail tags into relevant areas of the message body textarea to ensure user data is sent.
You could also check your spam folder to see if the emails were sent there. But if you are still having difficulty you can contact me directly using the contact form here https://themeforest.net/user/strongholdthemes#from and include login info so that I can check out the problem.

When you purchase any theme from themeforest that has premium plugins like Visual Composer, Revolution Slider etc bundled with it, those plugins are included with an Extended License that allows theme developers to distribute them with the theme. Because of this there is no individual license for each buyer of the theme to enter, you just use the plugin as is. Those messages are for persons who purchased the plugin directly from the plugin author with a Standard License. Plugin updates will be included in theme updates and support will be provided by me.

Mobile question… when I look at the mobile version and try to access the menu by tapping the 3 hash marks, the site animation happens, but no menu items appear. Only the search field is visible. How might I fix this?

Go to Appearance=>Menus and click the checkbox next to Mobile Menu or you can create a new menu set it as your mobile menu.

Hi there. Love the theme. However, I can’t seem to find where to update the social links for the coming soon page. I think uploading the demo content seems to have changed some backend settings. I noticed that you mention “Appearance=>Theme Options=>Styling=>” a few times in comments and I don’t have “Theme Options” I only have “Customize.” Do I need to revert/remove the demo content? I’ve noticed that you have not purchased the theme. Are you sure this is the theme you bought.
If you have the DentalCare theme installed you will have Appearance=>Theme Options by default.
The coming soon page was built directly with Visual Composer and Ultimate Addons. So to edit anything on that page you just need to edit it with Visual Composer and Ultimate Addons.

There is no built in option for that but you can use CSS by going to Appearance=>Theme Options=>Styling=>Add Custom CSS:

I’m trying to adjust the size of the logo in the top menu. It’s a bit small now but I want enlarge it. How would I go about doing that? I’ve seen another poster say he figured it out using custom settings, but I’ve tried to turn on ‘logo custom sizing’ within the ‘header’ setting of the ‘theme options’ and I can’t seem to increase the size of the logo.

But i want to show latest dental news without any dates. Otherwise we are obliged to adapt them regularly in order not to have an old website. Also using css? You know how? thanks again
