From some time, the basic requirement of a theme on ThemeForest and WordPress directory is that no major additional functionality will be added in theme. It should be added using plugins. So there is one helping plugin all of our products have.

The additional plugins are free and easy to install with some clicks. Our support team is always there to help in any case.

You can use any static page as home page. The contents of the home page can be turned on and off but are not widgets which you can move around like a page builder functionality.

You can let me know the details of our custom requirements after the purchase if you want to fully customize your page.

Even there are no issues reported yet for this theme, we still recommend using a proper hosting for our products.

WordPress.com can make problems in the future as some of the users of our other products faced issues and had to move on proper hosting services. WordPress.com doesn’t offer any FTP environment or doesn’t allow any direct access to the files which makes it very difficult to address problems there.

The quote should be removed after you remove it from the customizer settings. However, there is a small glitch in the functionality where we have it shifted to customizer. You have to remove the quote from customizer and theme options both.

I have noted that problem and will fix it in next update. For now, please remove the quote text from Customizer > Home Page > Quote and also from Appearance > Theme Options > Home Page.

Thanks for your earlier reply. As you can see from my user name badge, I have bought the theme and set the site up fairly easily following your tutorial. It is now very close to how i want the site to be.

I find that the font color and font size of the Menu is too dim and too small with the red skin and would like to increase the font size a bit at make the font bold and possible use a more contrasting color. Could you please help with providing a code snippet / guide of how to change this?
