I purchased the theme in July last year and has been awesome but i have just updated the plugin and the job maps don’t show anymore. and now my Support has expired so cant seem to get help on this issue which sucks now cause it breaks just after my support ends. This is leaving a sour taste in my mouth, there is no other way for me to solve this issue and i have tried reinstalling the theme again but still get the same result. Im not happy about this.
Hello,
I can only suggest 1 of 2 things.
This is related to your Google Maps API key or there is a 3rd-party plugin affecting the theme.
Make sure you created and added your API key to the theme. Also disable all 3rd-party plugins and see if that helps.
Kind regards,
Fernando
Hello,
When i access my site through “chrome” with a mobile phone, i keep seeing a little “x” on the drop down menu and social media icons.
What can I do to remove this? and make it show the actual drop down and menu icons.

Hello,
Could you advise on how to change the colour of the primary nav menu? It currently is white, but there is no default option in the customizer.

Hey. We are using this theme for one of our projects but we are having an slight issue with it. According to your documentation of the page “Jobs: Map & Results” this theme creates a default-listing page called “jobs”, and it does it pretty much straight out of the box. Is there a chance to disable this page as we are using the site in a totally different language and this generated page would therefore be visible in SEO. We have managed to make a fix for this by targeting the /jobs/ page with 3 things:
1. If page is archive 2. If page custom post type == “job_listing” 3. if page URL contains “jobs”
This is however not a elegant solution to the issue and a possibility to just disable it would be much easier and reliable.
Hi there,
There is no default setting to disable this. This is a core feature of the WP Job Manager plugin. I would advise contacting them and asking them if there is a workaround for this. They would be able to better assist you with a question regarding their plugin.
You can contact them here: https://wpjobmanager.com/support/

Hello!
I’m interested in buying this theme, however I do have a question. In the demo, the extended version says that some features are paid plugins that are sold separately.I was wondering which plugins those are, because I want my site to look exactly the extended version with the same features. If I buy this theme, will it have the features that presented in the extended version?
Regards, Andy
Hi Andy!
Thanks for your question today!
Our extended demo does use paid plugins. You can see a list of those plugins here: What Paid Plugins Are Used on the Jobify Extended Demo
At this time the theme is not bundled with premium plugins.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Hi, first of all, great theme!! Is it possible that when a jobseeker responds to a job, the message will go to the owner of the platform it self in stead of the job poster? This because the platform will be for a child daycare and they want to keep supervision on all the job posters. I am hoping to hearing form you. Thanks!
Hi there,
At this time, contacting a Candidate will email him externally. If the candidate wishes to reply back they will be able to reply back to the email the user entered on the contact form. Another option would be to edit the message being sent to the candidate. Telling them to reply back to the owner of the platforms email.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Fernando
Hi, I purchased a license for this theme ages ago but never actually got around to using it. I’m now ready, and after installing and activating Jobify 3.5.1, under the Getting Started menu I am able to link it to my Envato for enabling automatic updates, however the submenu ‘Setup Guide’ is not visible to me and therefore there is no option to install plugins through the setup guide and / or install extended demo content.
Is that because I need to renew my support to get access to all of that stuff? If so cool, will do – but wanted to double check there wasn’t some underlying bug…
Thanks
Hey there,
If your support expired, it does not prevent you from accessing the “Getting Started” option. I would advise you are using 3.5.1 and have all 3rd-party plugins disabled. For more information see here: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/1033-getting-started-with-jobify
If you need further assistance you will need to contact us through support!
Cheers! Fernando
I’ve got the Getting Started menu, but not the Setup Guide drop down as per in that link you sent me to installation guide. I had installed and activated all the WP Job Manager core add-ons – are you saying to disable all of those then?

Hi there,
Loving this theme but have noticed a big issue with the Apply For a Job form validation. We are using Gravity forms for that application. If someone doesnt fill out a required box, and then clicks Submit to submit their application, the box disappears. Even when validation has failed.
Hard to explain with words so i have done this screen recording for you. If you could let me know ASAP i would really appreciate it.

your demo content is not working. At least not how it’s specified in the instructions\documentation..
i tried the second demo too. Didn’t work either. Can you advise? Your overview page says “get up and running in 5 minutes”. It certainly is not at the moment!
Hey there!
Hope you are doing well.

Hello, do you have any examples of a candidate page with a video link on their profile? When I submit resume on demo and preview it does not show. I want to be sure the paid plugin works before I purchase. Secondly when a member of the public applies for a job the only options are name/email and message? Is there a way the applicant can upload cv and other content like video file etc.
I don’t want to submit a ticket because it requires wordpress login info and you cant submit without providing it. If you could answer I would appreciate it.
Is there anywhere I can view a working demo of the full extended version. I need to see what happens when someone applies for a job, if the employers jobs appear in their dashboard etc.
Hello!
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the delay.
Question: When I submit resume on demo and preview it does not show. I want to be sure the paid plugin works before I purchase.
Answer: The video added from the candidates page will appear as a button under the Actions Widget. When you click the “Watch Video” button the video will come up. See here.
Question: Secondly when a member of the public applies for a job the only options are name/email and message? Is there a way the applicant can upload cv and other content like video file etc.
Answer: You can customize the form yourself to add a field to upload a CV or other files. Using a form plugin like Ninja forms you will be able to accomplish this. See here: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/387-setting-up-your-forms
Question: Is there anywhere I can view a working demo of the full extended version.
Answer: You can view the extended demo here: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/
At this time the demo does not have a feature that displays the jobs a candidate has applied for. There is an add-on which shows only employers all applications through the dashboard. Using the Applications add-on you can integrate this feature.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Your theme is great but your ticket system is the absolute worst.
I have to connect to Envato, but I can’t because I have several accounts and I don’t get to choose which one I want to use. Then I manually added a new account but I still can’t add any products so I don’t get to submit a ticket.
Then I tried to log out of Envato and try again but I couldn’t sign in with my account because the email was already in use (from when I manually tried to log in).
Long story short: I can’t submit a ticket.
My question: I dont’t see the map on my listing page. Any thoughts why this is? Please see:
http://dentalcens.ubzh.nl/vacatures/Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
You will need to set your page template to Jobs Map Results. Also make sure you have a Google Maps API key.
Hope this helps!

Fernando
Hi, Will it be possible for recruiters/agency to create new users for them and manage job posting from those users?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today!
Yes, a recruiter will be able to register as a new user on behalf of the company and create/manage their job posts.
Hope this helps!

Hello,
Is there any possibility to change the job list into a grid one ?
Thanks,
Andrei
Hello there Andrei,
At this time it is not possible, unfortunately.
Only featured jobs using the Jobs Spotlight widget will allow you to display jobs in a grid.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
A couple of quick pre-purchase questions:
- I read somewhere that you were going to fix the SEO on the theme. Is this done yet?
- Have you changed the requirement for logo to be only .svg which is not always supported?
- Do you have a list of the plugins (outside of what comes in the box) that your second demo site uses?
Hi there!
Hope you are doing well today!
Question: I read somewhere that you were going to fix the SEO on the theme. Is this done yet?
Answer: Not at this time.
Question: Have you changed the requirement for logo to be only .svg which is not always supported?
Answer: You can use SVG images using a plugin like SVG support: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/svg-support/
Question:Do you have a list of the plugins (outside of what comes in the box) that your second demo site uses?
Answer: You can view the list of plugins our Extended demo uses here.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for all your questions today!
Question: Job Alert: 1. Sending notification to the job seeker when a job advertised with certain skills ( keyword)
Answer: A job alerts feature will require the Job Alerts Add-on.
Question: 2. Sending notification to the employer when a job seeker registered his profile and he has the require skill for the advertised job?
Answer: At this time there is no built-in Notification system to let any employer know when a new Candidate matches their criteria.
Question: 3. Allow the Employers to search for job seeker’s profiles and filter them out( favorite ).
Answer: Using the Resume Manager plugin you can search candidates like in our demo: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/find-a-candidate/
Also a favorite feature can be added using the Bookmarks add-on.
Question: 4. a professional search option to search inside the pdf or word doc and filter the cv that has certain keywords?
Answer: At this time there is no feature like this available.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Thanks for your great reply. Is there any difference between classic version and extended version in terms of functionality? or is it just the appearance different?
I read previous comments. I understand that Classic is the template without paid add-ons. My question is can I have both themes and choose them when I install the jobify? is it just a matter of purchasing the add-ons and just install and have all the features in the extended mode demo on classic version theme?
Is there any option to choose more than one applicant and send them an email at once? For example, 5 applicants were shortlisted by the employer. So the employer selects them and sends an email to all that you are shortlisted and will be contacted by the employer for an interview soon.
You will be able to choose which demo content you wish to use for your website. You can download the extended demo content and not have any paid plugin. There is no restriction on what plugins are used on the demo content you wish to use.
At this time there is no option to send a reply to a shortlist of candidates from the theme, unfortunately. You can send them a message manually to each one at this time from the theme.
Hope this further answers your questions!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Fernando
Hello,
I’d like to ask three questions;
1. How can I make the main menu smaller? 2. Can I have a fixed search engine, like that of header (menu)? 3. How can I make the spotlight jobs smaller, they are extremely too big. I need it to accommodate more jobs.
I look forward to your feedback.
Thanks.
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
Question: 1. How can I make the main menu smaller?
Answer: You will need to add customize the main menu with CSS in order to alter it at this time. There is no setting to reduce the height.
Question: 2. Can I have a fixed search engine, like that of header (menu)? 3
Answer: You can use the Search Hero widget to add a search to the homepage.
Question: 3. How can I make the spotlight jobs smaller, they are extremely too big. I need it to accommodate more jobs.
Answer: There is no option to alter the styling at this time without custom CSS unfortunately.
We are partnered with and highly recommend WP Curve, Envato Studio or Codeable if you need help customizing your website.

Hi, great theme! I have a couple of presale questions:
1. Can I charge the applicants, instead of companies? – either monthly subscription or view X amount of listings for $X dollars. I searched through the comments regarding this and saw answers that said yes and no to the ability to charge applicants instead of companies. If I can, can you please tell me which plugins I would need?
2. Ideally, I would like to applicants to be able to view a limited version of a listing and when they pay they view the entire listing. I saw an answer that says to use Restrict Content Pro, but that doesn’t make sense since RCP restrict pages and post. I don’t understand how RCP would restrict parts of a job listing since you have numerous job listings on a single page. Can you please tell me if there is a way using a plugin to restrict portions of a job listing and how full job listings once applicant pays.
Thank you!
Hey Kiko,
Hope you are doing well.
Question: 1. Can I charge the applicants, instead of companies? – either monthly subscription or view X amount of listings for $X dollars
Answer: Yes, you can charge a candidate a subscription to post their resume. This will ensure recurring payments for a user to have their candidate profile up. You will need the Resume Manager plugin to add Resumes to your website and read here on how to create subscriptions: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/659-how-do-i-charge-subscriptions-to-post-jobs
Although you can charge users to submit a resume there is no feature to restrict how many listings they can view at this time. You can restrict what a users sees based on subscription using Restrict Content Pro
Question: 2. Ideally, I would like to applicants to be able to view a limited version of a listing and when they pay they view the entire listing. I saw an answer that says to use Restrict Content Pro, but that doesn’t make sense since RCP restrict pages and post
Answer: At this time the only compatible way to hide content from displaying on a job listing would require Restrict Content Pro. This will hide widget content from displaying on a job post. See here for more information: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/994-restrict-widget-output-based-on-subscription-level
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
