Hi there, I purchased the theme not too long ago, and I have a problem with one of the widget functions, SingleStroke: Posts:. On the page that it feeds to, when I try to click on one of my posts, it goes to a Bad Request Port 80 – Can you help me with this as I have seen that your support server is down?

I bought your theme today. All went well until I wanted to integrate my logo in the header. It is simply impossible to have a suitable result, it is always pixelated. I saw that you recommend WP Retina, but this plugin is almost entirely paying and unusable in this situation if I do not pay. Does that mean I will never be able to get a proper quality logo? I really don’t know what to do.

I upload similar files but of different sizes as requested but it does not seem to make the link between them. And you confirm that I can not change the size of the image of the header? (It might have been a solution … I do not know!)

Hmm, weird that happened to you. I would suggest you to contact Envato support and explain the situation. Perhaps there was a glitch on their system or something we (SingleStroke) can explain. It’s something beyond our authority since we can’t control any purchase activity from our end.

Is it possible to add a small logo on the mobile version of the theme?
Ideally this would be placed in the centre of the navigation area (between menu and search icons). I have already removed the large site logo with custom css (too large for mobile devices IMO) – I just can’t get the logo to be central in the navigation space.

Hi, in that case, you can use more custom CSS to place he logo in the center using the background-image and background-position properties. Let me know if you need the complete snippet to do it.

I’ve been working for 4 hours to get a simple retina logo on my site and it seems impossible to execute, even with the 3rd party plugin. For such an expensive theme, this should really be standard feature. Lots of messy code here guys, not impressed.
Can you provide a simple css overwrite for this please? My client is about to kill me because we don’t have a retina logo, simply uploading a bigger version and trying to scale it down to 50% fucks up the alignment of the logo and pushes it to the left corner for some reason. Should be really simple but for some reason, it’s not.
For retina logo, you can install WP retina 2x plugin.. you should upload your logo in 2 files. The original.png and original@2x.png. Could you try this?
Hi Im strongly considering buying this theme to create an ecommerce site for a client. I think its a great theme in many ways. My client Im buying it for would like a sidebar with product categories. I just want to check that I could easily add this widget to this theme, before purchasing it. Please let me know.

Yeah sure, you can add the prosuct categories widget to the sidebar. It’s default features, but we just don’t show it on demo. Cheers!

Yes it’s configured from the page builder and you can change the height and width.

Any theme files package won’t have wp-config.php. You should download the “installable WordPress file” zip and upload to your WordPress admin page.

Hi, we have all options on our theme options and it’s pretty self explanatory. The documentation is available online on our support forum and only covers setup and other configuration tips.
I’m going to do quite a few customizations but I kinda want to do how far I can go without digging deep in the CSS.
For example, increasing the max-width of the layout, showing more than 2 products per line in shop with sidebar layout.
Also, how’s the page builder like? Is it something like Visual Composer? Can I change the layout of Home – Classic? Like instead of 3 pictures below the slider, just 2, or another big one.
Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure before buying.
The max-width layout is not yet configurable via theme options. You have to go with custom CSS for this one. However you can configure your Shop page with/without sidebar, and also how many columns for the products grid.
For Page Builder, we use SiteOrigin Page Builder since it’s simpler and easier to use. Sure you can change the Home – Classic layout with the available widgets. Each widgets has settings, e.g. to set how many pictures on the slider.
Hi SingleStroke, I just uploaded the theme to a brand new wordpress site. But when I active it, it says “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in /......../wp-content/themes/primrose/inc/helpers.php on line 13”. What is it due to ? PHP compatibility ? Thank you!

Yes please update your PHP version to the latest or at least 5.6 as recommended by WordPress itself. Let me know if you still have any issue.
Yes every domain older than 2012 on my account was still configured on PHP 5.2, I just updated everything and it works fine! Thanks again

I’m able to upload images to the hero slider, via the editor but they’re not showing on my site. The slide titles are showing, the background image option shows, but not the actual slide images. I have every plugin up to date and current WP version. Any ideas?

Hi Melanie, everything looks fine. you have 4 slides, the first slide use the dark brown background image, and the rest 3 slides use the same images, white glass.jpg. You should change each slide background image separately.

Yes, by default, if you haven’t uploaded any logo, the theme use your Site Title (defined in Settings > General) as styled text logo.

Hi, you create a new page from Pages > Add New, and name it “Blog” or whatever you like, and click the Save / Create page button. After that you can go to Settings > Reading, and set the Posts page option to “Blog”.

Hmm not sure if it’s an error from the theme.. some plugins might have conflict with WPML as well.

Hi, please make sure you have the latest version of Primrose and Primrose SiteOrigin Widgets plugin. We have fixed this issue in the previous version.

Yes, you can use the Page Builder and add the Primrose – WooCommerce posts grid, and select the “Latest products” query.

Recent Products, Featured Products, On Sale Products, Best Selling Products, Top rated Products, Products in a category, Selected Products, Products with a specific attribute value, Related Products, Categories/Subcategories
Oops sorry, I misread the “seen” part. Currently we don’t have “latest seen” query, and this should be handled from additional plugin not by the theme. You could use 3rd party plugin like this:
