I am sorry, but you should never change LSVR toolkit or Townpress theme files. Any customization should be done via child theme. If you need some hook in the plugin or theme, then let me know and I will see what can be done about it. However, you will have to contact me via account with which you have purchased the theme.

I seem to be having an issue with the weather widget. It seems the weather forecast information is a day off even though the date and time are correct. Forecast for Saturday, Sunday and Monday match Open Weather Map for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Hello. Does this Latest version have Page Template attributes? Were you seeing the preview the News, Galleries, documents and others are displayed within a specific page according to category? It is possible to persnalize each page according to a categroia, example: Downloads are different from the sidebar. Gallery, can I change the background image from the top and also change the sidebar? Thank you for your attention. Will soon be buying the theme.

there are no page templates. There are page settings which allow you to customize the page like add sidebars, disable tile and stuff. You can change the sidebar for each post type. You can change the header background image of course (demo images are not part of the theme anyway). Sorry, but I don’t understand rest of your questions. Please separate them into points (1.) question 2.) question etc) so it is more clear.

Questions about the pages: 1- Is it possible to customize each page that has a certain category of posts? Example: When you open a news item it is displayed on the news page and it carries a menu listing news items. 2-Is there any demo page to test the admin panel? 1.) Still not sure I understand. There are special URLs which will display posts of a certain category, like this This has nothing to do with the theme, this is core WordPress feature. 2.) Unfortunately not. But you can check out item description where you can find admin screenshots.

I didn’t think this was a question that requires me to renew support, as it seems to be a problem that is not mine. I hope that is OK. I have been using the TownPress theme successfully since June of 2015. I am attempting to update the Visual Composer and cannot. A web page keeps popping open that wants me to buy it at $34. I tried deactivating and re-installing but am still getting the message to update it – then sends me to the page to buy it again. I can’t edit the site at all right now because when I hit the visual composer icon in the edit page, it again opens the page to purchase it. I really need to update the site. Thanks!

ignore that message, that’s just an ad from VC author. You definitely don’t need to purchase anything. First, you need to update the theme. Once you do that, deactivate and remove Visual Composer. You will be prompted to install it again which will installs its latest version bundled with the theme.

Okay, I just did all of that and VC is installed and active. In plug-ins under the Visual Composer it says this: “There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available. View version 5.1 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?” The last part ‘got visual composer in theme’ is a link that goes here: https://wpbakery.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=524337

I have an issue with comments being cut off short after just one line. I did read down through this thread and see it has happened before. I tried changing to another theme to check it was not a WP problem (which its not) and then I found your temp CSS fix… .article-page .article-comments { white-space: normal; } which has rctified the problem for now. Thank you and wilol you be adding this to bug fixes?

Does the theme conflict with gravity forms at all? I have used gravity forms because I think they are easier to use but form time to time the forms stop working because code snippets such as “ <” are added which alters the action the forms take when submitted.

that has to be some kind of 3rd party plugin. Theme doesn’t have built-in listing functionality. If you can share the URL where you saw it, I may be able to tell you which plugin is it.

Used the Demo Importer within Theme Options to get site going. Lots of content missing including demo home screen and all pictures.

Hi there! I had a couple of quick questions that I thought you might be able to resolve.

However, I would like the dark blue color found in the footer background to also show up in the page title background. The code indicates that it should be blue. However, the blue color only shows up when I delete the RGBA code that creates the opacity change. Is there a way for me to fix this with the blue color showing the opacity change?
Also, if you look underneath the events, you’ll see that the icons for the share buttons aren’t loading. How would I fix that?

1.) Please share RGBA value of your footer.
2.) Those icons are not part of theme, I guess you are using some 3rd party plugin for that, which is fine of course, but I will have to see it live to tell what’s wrong.

This is the CSS being used:
Page Header:

Footer:

I’m thinking the header should still show up with #30415f in the background, but it looks like it’s black / grey.

Figured out the background, it just didn’t make any sense that it would show up that dark.
Ad background: “background-color: #30415f; background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.8);” means that ”#30415f” is ignored and overridden by “rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.8);” which is just black color with small opacity. You need this: “background-color: #30415f; background-color: rgba(48,65,95,0.8);”. The first “background-color” (without opacity) is fallback for older browsers which don’t support RGBA.
Ad social icons: since they do work on event detail, I guess this solution may work for you.
