Great template! But I need help with one issue: in IE8 if I have a long text inside a select box it will show over the arrow:

How can I fix it?

Thanks!

Hi marcelotorrico,

I have take a look at this problem and this is an IE 8 bug (inputs with right padding). :-(

So i can’t fix this for you but i am thinking to give this template an update when i have some time free and then i will use a better plugin for the select boxes!

Kind Regards, Rory

I love it, I purchased this one after looking at all 130 admin templates!

One thing I would recommend changing, in terms of usability, is the color of active link in pagination.

Currently it’s very hard to distinguish which page is active and which not in the pagination. It has a little darker text, yes, but still very hard to see.

I would recommend changing background color of the active page in pagination.

Overall, extremely satisfied with the purchase. Hopefully I can get this to work for me. Any chance for a discount on the extended license? ;-)

Hi jbolder,

Thnx for your compliment! :-)

I will change the active status for the pagination when i find the time to make a big update for the template!

I can not give you a discount… it’s not possible with Themeforest, sorry.

Kind Regards, Rory

Thanks for the reply!

If you are planning a big update for the template, here are a few suggestions that popped to my mind when working with your template and think would make your template even more usable:

- make active page in pagination more distinct

- make “First” and “Last” buttons for pagination (not just “Next” and “Previous”)

- provide a class to color form fields red if there is an error after submit (for example if a required field is missing I show an error and fields that are missing are colored in red colour)

Keep up the good work!

Excellent! Thanks!

I purchased this about a week ago and I don’t have this feature. So if I download it again, I will have the latest?

Here is the solution for the DreamAdmin:

- Open the file forms.css (it’s in the css map) - Scroll to line 110 and change overflow : hidden into
overflow-x : hidden;
overflow-y : auto;
- And add this line:
max-height : 250px;

Now you will have a scroll in the list :)

Nice template. I have one issue that I need help with. The drop-down select is fine when there are only a few options. When I offer a US States drop-down, there are 50 options. This is quite the process for someone to have to scroll that far down to find their state. How can I apply a good ol fashion option which includes the scroll-bar so they don’t have to scroll down the page itself? My form is a long one-page form.

Hi BradBarret,

Do you have the last versio of the theme? I ask this because i have already made a scroll inside the select option menu in de lasted version

Hi, I’d like to pre-fill content into the WYSIWYG editor however when I put the text in between the text-area tag the content area still comes up blank. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is what I am doing:

<textarea name="content" id="wysiwyg" rows="" cols="">
My pre-filled text here
</textarea>

Thanks, MJ

Hi TheBlokGroup,

Open inline.js and scroll to line 63 and remove the line:
$('#wysiwyg').wysiwyg('clear');

Then you can pre-fill the textarea with your own text.

Hi,

First all congratulations, that’s a great work!

My question is:

Is there any way to add a WYSIWYG editor like in the DreamAdmin? Of course I’m talking about the required css!

Thank you so much!

I will import a nice WYSIWYG editor later this week in a update, is that oke for you? :)

Absolutely!

Thank so much; I have been developing my client project this afternoon and I have to say this template is awesome. Nice work!

Greetings

PD: Sorry for my bad english

I am sorry, I thought I was writing in the CleanDream forum, obviously I was hoping there was a WYSIWYG editor in the CleanDream template, not in the DreamAdmin, wich has one already.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Greetings

Perfect! I was looking on their documentation: http://www.kelvinluck.com/assets/jquery/datePicker/v2/demo/datePickerPastDate.html

but I didn’t find it, i was look on wrong file, jquery.datepicker.js

Now I got it!

Thanks for your help!

No problem! Good luck with your project…

HI, I’m very happy with this template. Can you give me some support please,

on date picker, how can i select past dates, imagine this.

start date: 01/01/2011 end date: 02/05/2011

Since Im able only to select from the current date, how can I select older dates?

Thanks for your support.

Hi GnobarEl,

If you open the folder js -> file inline.js -> and then you change line 76 into:

$('input.datepicker').datePicker({clickInput:true, startDate:'01/01/1995'});

Then you can select dates in the past… (You can change the date to any date you want.)

Hi Roy,

great job, but i have one question.

How can i use select box without sparkbox-select style? When i removed sparkbox-select.js, the select box can’t display on the page.

Best Regards,

David

Hi TubaBoy21,

Open the forms.css and scroll down to line 78 and remove line 78, 79, 80, 81, 82 and 83. If that is done open inline.js and scroll down to line 73 and remove line 73, 74 and 75.

Kind Regards, Rory

I really like this template – it is just what I have been looking for.

Thanks Roy, nice design. One issue I found is in the main navigation menu, when you declare the top level li as class “current” it applies the “current” darker background to all of the sub-navigation for that item. It looks a little strange, and breaks the hover/rollover effect for all of the sub-navigation. I’m not sure how to fix it, the menu css is complex.

To create it in the template, just add class “current” to the menu choice “menu items”.

Thanks!

Hi EasserLess,

Thnx for the compliment!

I have update de zip and it’s in the waiting line to be reviewed (3rd in line).

Kind Regards, Rory

Hi Roy thanks for the update on this. Can you tell me which file (or code) changed? I’ve already forked the template and I can’t find the change. Thanks!

Hi EssartLess,

The menu.css and the CSS color files are changed.

Kind Regards, Rory

Hi, one other question. There is “not IE” comment code all through the HTML markup:

<\\IE]> END SYSTEM MESSAGES <![endif]—>

I’ve never seen this in body HTML , I’m not sure what it going on. Normally you would set the IE fixes in a special CSS file in the . What is this for, is it just weird commenting? Will the page break if they are removed?

Thanks!

Hi EssartLess,

I have this done for IE 6 .

Because if i use the normal HTML comment tag IE 6 .0 put some height at the bottom of the page. (IE 6 bug)

You can remove the comments if you want… everyting will be still oke!

Great template! How will we know when the update with fixes is approved?

The updates are all reviewed, so the newest version can be downloaded.

“Remember me:”... “1 week”... “2 weeks” etc… “Alwasy” :’)

VERY nice clean looking theme, don’t really get much from what the price and preview has to offer.. I may consider buying this in the future.

Good work though :)

The psd isn’t not included in the file.

Sorry for that.

I have upload the zip file again and its waiting to be reviewed.

Kind regards, Rory

OK, I am waiting…

Hi,

I see what you mean now…

I gonna fix that for you.

Hi PSzabo,

I have update the template and it’s waiting to be reviewed.

Kind regards,
Rory

Selects are overflowing other selects, it is error! :ohrly:

Hi PSzabo,

I have fixt this bug and i have upload the template to the reviewer.

How you can fix it:
- Open forms.css that (it is in the css folder)
- On line 73 you have the class ”.row .sb-custom”
- Change that class into:
.row .sb-custom {
float : left;
position : relative;
margin : 0 4px 0 0;
z-index : 1000;
}
