Hi, I see there is a custom field for clients, however there is no client page template to associate this with. I am using the one page layout. When I add a “Clients” page, it just makes a link to that title and then takes me to a separate page with the custom post types listed out on that new page rather than the home page. Please let me know how to use the clients post type. Thanks!

Hello, I just purchased this theme to build a simple but elegant one page portfolio theme. After installing the demo, I’m finding myself very lost in the basic Wordpress Customizer….there’s not a lot of options and I’m not very efficient at writing CSS or HTML. Main problem I’m having is how to set what sections/pages I want in order on the one page. I saw in comments that one needs to set the menu to “One Page” but I can’t find that particular button. Also, how do I get rid of the WP-Forms page that is directly under my home page? Main question for this email is how/where do I go to set pages/sections/order of as displayed on ONE home page.
Lastly, how are parallax effects added? No documentation anywhere…. Please help as soon as you can…I’m tempted to go for a refund but if I can get past these basic setup steps, I think I’ll be ok. The theme is very easy to setup and customize. If you don’t want change the style and the structure of the Theme, you needn’t have any knowledge of HTML or CSS.
You can set the page order from your WordPress Admin Panel, in Pages section, there isn’t any particular button.
To remove the contact form, you have to remove the Contact page.
About parallax effects, they are already integrated in some sections (for example in the testimonials section).

Can you tell what other sections have parallax effects as well as how to set the image for a parallax effect? I’d also like to know CSS to change page title color/size/font as well. Lastly, I saw in one comment how to change the gold color throughout the theme as well as use an image on the top page (instead of the gold box around text. The sections with parallax effects are “Testimonials” and “Main Top”. You can’t set it in other section, unless you edit the code.
About CSS, you need to individuate the class to edit and then insert it “Additional CSS” from the Customizer, with your modifications. For the image in the header, as I wrote in the other comment, you need to have a minimum knowledge of HTML, you should edit the header.php file and replace the text (the gold box) with an image.

I can’t assure you the RTL compatibility. It doesn’t need manual coding. Of course that you can see the demo, in the item main page click on “Live Preview” button and you can try the demo.

You are using a old version of the theme. I recommend you to download and install the last version (1.8), that fixing various bugs (including the Child Theme).
There isn’t a unique command to change entire sections colors. As I told you before, you need to analyze the code (for example using Google Chrome function), identify the CSS classes and then change the color in Additional CSS.

of course, the theme is 100% translatable and you can add a multiple language feature into the header, there are so many plugins to do this (the most famous is WPML plugin).
About your second question, the theme is designed for “One Page” websites, but you can use it also for “Multi Page” websites, in fact you can create as many pages as you want and link them where you prefer.

you can insert as much services as you want, but if you want have the proper alignment in columns, you should have them as multiple of 4 (4, 8, 12, 16, etc.).

Hi there, October theme just purchased. I’m fairly savvy with Wordpress and themes, but for some reason after I imported all the demo content, etc, I still can’t get it to do the parallax one page scroll style. All the menu pages go to separate pages. However, when I scroll down all the information is showing but the menu pages is not anchoring to the one page home scrolling.. Is there a setting to activate the one page style, rather than separate pages?

You have to set One Page “Main Menu” in Menu Settings to get the one page scroll style. Be sure your menu items contain the hashtag in the link (for example, About page should have ”#about” as link).

Started developing on your theme. Found couple of bugs so far:
1. If you add any non-english alphabet letters to the page names, page don’t scroll once that menu item is clicked. Let’s say we add Lithuanian letter “š” to the page named “ServicesŠ”. Then clicking on the menu item on the top Menu does nothing.
2. If you went to your demo page http://october.riccardoborchi.it/. Hover the “purchase now button” in “AN AWESOME DIGITAL EXPERIENCE” section and slowly kept going down to the Pamela K. photo, you would see that mask activates way above the picture.
When would you expect to fix those?

1. If you change the page name without change also the link of the menu voice, it’s normal that the page don’t scroll when you click on the menu item, this happens with any letters (also of the english alphabet or of other languages). Once you have change the page name, remember to edit also the link in the menu settings of the Customizer, preserving the hashtag (in your case should be ”#serviceŠ”).
2. I have just released a new update of the theme and I have fixed this bug.

Sorry, but I have one more question: This time about the contact form. I have set an eMail address in the contact settings. When I enter text in the contact form and press the send button, I end up with a 404 error and no eMail is sent.
If I leave all fields blank and press send, I get an empty white page.
Are there any more settings besides the contact settings of the customizer?
